Who to overcome with the sunstroke and what are the symptoms of sunstroke and suggested the measures to protect from it.
Hye. Thankyou for your query heat stroke is the most serious form of heat injury. Heat stroke can kill or cause damage to the brain and other internal organs. Heat stroke often occurs as a progression from milder heat-related illnesses such as heat cramps, heat syncope (fainting), and heat exhaustion. But it can strike even if you have no previous signs of heat injury. Heat stroke results from prolonged exposure to high temperatures -- usually in combination with dehydration -- which leads to failure of the body's temperature control system. Other common symptoms include nausea, seizures, confusion, disorientation, and sometimes loss of consciousness or coma. The symptom of heat stroke is a core body temperature above 105 degrees fahrenheit. But fainting may be the first sign. Other symptoms may include: throbbing headache dizziness and light-headedness lack of sweating despite the heat red, hot, and dry skin muscle weakness or cramps nausea and vomiting rapid heartbeat, which may be either strong or weak rapid, shallow breathing behavioral changes such as confusion, disorientation, or staggering seizures unconsciousness if you suspect a heat stroke, immediately transport the person to a hospital. Till then give first aid. Move the person to an air-conditioned environment -- or at least a cool, shady area -- and remove any unnecessary clothing. Fan air over the patient while wetting his or her skin with water. Apply ice packs to the patient's armpits, groin, neck, and back. Because these areas are rich with blood vessels close to the skin, cooling them may reduce body temperature. Immerse the patient in a shower or tub of cool water, or an ice bath. When the heat index is high, it's best to stay in an air-conditioned environment. If you must go outdoors, you can prevent heat stroke by taking these steps: wear lightweight, light-colored, loose-fitting clothing, and a wide-brimmed hat. Use a sunscreen with a sun protection factor (spf) of 30 or more. Drink extra fluids. To prevent dehydration, it's generally recommended to drink at least eight glasses of water, fruit juice, or vegetable juice per day. Because heat-related illness also can result from salt depletion, it may be advisable to substitute an electrolyte-rich drink like lime juice, kokam sarbat, for water during periods of extreme heat and humidity. Take additional precautions when exercising or working outdoors. The general recommendation is to drink 24 ounces of fluid two hours before exercise, and consider adding another 8 ounces of water or sports drink right before exercise. During exercise, you should consume another 8 ounces of water every 20 minutes, even if you don't feel thirsty. Reschedule or cancel outdoor activity. If possible, shift your time outdoors to the coolest times of the day, either early morning or after sunset. Monitoring the color of your urine. Darker urine is a sign of dehydration. Be sure to drink enough fluids to maintain very light-colored urine. Avoid fluids containing caffeine or alcohol, because both substances can make you lose more fluids and worsen heat-related illness. The easiest and safest way to replace salt and other electrolytes during heat waves is to drink lime juice or fruit juice. Check with your doctor before increasing liquid intake if you have epilepsy or heart, kidney, or liver disease; are on fluid-restricted diets; or have a problem with fluid retention. If you live in an apartment or house without fans or air conditioning, try to spend at least two hours each day -- preferably during the hottest part of the day -- in an air-conditioned environment. At home, draw your curtains, shades, or blinds during the hottest part of the day, and open windows at night on two sides of your building to create cross-ventilation.

You have to improve your food habits do 1. Take 2/ 3 glass of warm water in the morning 2. Take more water in day 3. Take meals at fixed hrs 4. Take small amount of food at a time, take more frequent meals - may be five times a day. 5. No spicy/ fried/ fast/ junk/processed food. 6. No milk for few days, can take curd, no uncooked salad

Appendicitis ke karan bhi pet (abdomen) ke dahine side me niche (right lower quadrant) ki or pain hota hai. Halaki female me ovarian pathology (ovary me problem) ke karan bhi ho sakta hai. Ureteric calculi (ureter me stone) ke karan bhi waha dard ho sakta hai. Usg of abdomen (pet ka ultrasound) karana uchit rahega, normal aane par aur bhi test kiya ja sakta hai.

Hello Mr. lybrate-user WEIGHT LOSS DIET Things to be followed 1. No salt intake after 7: 30 am 2. No aerated drinks. Even Liquor too. 3. Restrict mango and banana. 4. Restrict potato and rice. 5. No artificial juices. 6. Half an hour aerobic exercise daily. Joining a gym for workout will be a better option. 7.20 mins of breathing exercise (pranayam). 8. Avoid Rajmah, Channa, Peas, Mushroom, Gobi, Pumpkin, Leafy vegetables, Capsicum, Paneer, Cheese, Curd, Non Veg, Maida related items (like Bread, bun, pizza, burger etc), Deep fried and spicy food, Sweets, Sugar, carbohydrate rich fruits like apple, Sapota, Banana etc. 9. Avoid rice intake in the morning and strictly in the night. 10. Avoid intake of refrigerated food in the morning, prepared previous night. 11. Intake of food should be on time without skipping even a single meal. 12. Maintain min two hours of gap between dinner intake and sleep. 13. Consume minimum eight glasses of water a day. 14.“Early to bed and early to raise” should be strictly followed. Sleeping Late night should be strictly avoided. 15. Have fruits only in the noon time. Avoid fruits consumption in the night (occasionally can be taken before dinner). 16. Stop intake of milk during bed time. 17. Bathing should be before food intake only. 18. Tea, milk intake should be twice a day preferably morning and evening. Coffee intake should be strictly avoided. DIET PLAN FOR Week 1 6: 30 am (as soon as you wake up) – 2 glasses of methi seeds water (soak 1tsp of methi seeds in 2 glasses of water. Strain out the methi seeds and drink the water. Helps a lot in water retention and bloating) 7: 30 am – ginger tea/ green tea. 9: 00 am – One bowl Papaya or 200 ml Mongdal gruel with little jaggery. 11: 30 am – four cucumber slices/raw raddish 1: 30 pm – A small plate of salad before starting the meal. The fibers in the salad fills you up which in turn prevents false hunger that makes you overeat. 1dry chapati with 1 bowl of dal, with one bowl rice, rasam, 1 glass buttermilk. 5: 00 pm – 1cup of milk or tea with 2 biscuits (just marie, no other biscuits) 8: 30 pm –A small plate of salad before starting the meal. 2 or 3 dry chapati with vegetable curry or dal. When this week ends, you can see reduction in weight up to 1.8 kilos. U lose the max in this week because you lose all the water weight and the bloating as well. The further weeks you are surely going to lose weight but it won’t be this much. Week 2 6: 30 am (as soon as you wake up) – 2 glasses of tulsi leave water (soak 5 tulsi leaves in 2 glasses of water. Strain out the leaves and drink the water.) 7: 30 am – ginger tea/ green tea. 9: 00 am – 1 bowl of veg salad or Semi liquid gruel (lightly salted and flavored with pepper, Jeera, Ginger, Garlic, coriander, pudina) prepared out of broken barley. 11: 30 am – Small bowl papaya without peeling skin. 1: 30 pm – A small plate of salad before starting the meal. 1dry chappati with 1 bowl of dal, with one bowl rice, rasam, 1 glass buttermilk. Or Only 3 dry Chappatis with veg curry and 1 glass buttermilk. 5: 00 pm – 1cup of Coffee/milk/ tea with 2 marie biscuits only. 8: 30 pm –A small plate of salad before starting the meal. 2 or 3 dry chappati with vegetable curry or dal, 1 cup ginger flavored buttermilk. This week you can lose up to 0.9 kgs Week 3 6: 30 am – 10 ml of Karela, amla juice with 1 glass of luke warm water. 7: 30 am – ginger tea/ green tea. 9: 00 am – salted and flavoured Green gram gruel or Rava gruel semi liquid consistency 200 ml. 11: 30 am – four cucumber slices. 1: 30 pm –one bowl allowed veg or fruit salad, 2 chappati and vegetable dal. 5: 00 pm – 1cup of milk/ ginger tea, green tea or 1bowl popcorn (air popped popcorns without the butter) 8: 30 pm –1 bowl broken wheat with rasam or dal, 1 cup buttermilk. Week 4 6: 30 am – Triphala ras 10 ml with 1 glass warm water. 7: 30 am – ginger tea/ green tea. 9: 00 am – 1 glass Broken wheat gruel 11: 30 am – one bowl veg salad. 1: 30 pm – 1 bowl broken wheat with rasam, 1 cup buttermilk. 5: 00 pm – 1cup of milk/ ginger tea/ green tea 8: 30 pm – 2 dry chappati with 1 bowl vegetable or Dalia kichdi, and 1 cup buttermilk. By the end of the month you will definitely be losing 2-4 kgs Repeat the same diet for 4 months. Along with few excercise.

For fair & toned skin: • Applying a mixture of cucumber and papaya with one teaspoon of each and with three teaspoon of oatmeal apply it for 5 to 10 minutes then rinse off with water twice a week. • Apply one teaspoon Besan with one teaspoon of curd and a pinch of haldi (turmeric) mix it with water then apply for 15 minutes then rinse off it with water Once a week.. • Apply one teaspoon orange juice or take a piece of orange open it then apply that area for 5 minutes then rinse off it once a week. • Eat More fruits daily. • Mash half banana mix it with 1/2 teaspoon of lemon juice and half teaspoon of sandalwood powder mix it well and make smooth paste apply it for 10 minutes then rinse off with water. • Save yourself from sunlight by covering your face with cloth or by using sunscreen lotion.

You should avoid over exertion. Drink approx 4 ltrs of water a day. Take tablet paracetamol sos if fever more than 100 and consult a nearby physician.

Apply any oil like coconut or til or castor oil on the area of pain after making the oil like warm .. Leave for 20 min followed by pouring of hot water in the affected area for about 15 min

Migraine cause is still exactly not known but you should note duration of attack, frquency/ week and associated symptoms such as vomiting and sensitivity to light and sound and dark black colored dots or dots of different color in front of eyes. Whether headache associated wd aura. Medications can be given after confirming these symptoms pls share the details they would be really helpful.

I have problems of scalp itching, how can I get solution from these disease, and my hair is also falling.
Scalp itching and hair loss can be controlled by - 1. Use mild shampoo to wash hair (you can make your own shampoo using reetha and shikakai at home) 2. Stop using conditioners. Use natural conditioners like egg, yougurt and lemon. 3. Massage your scalp with a mix of oils like olive, coconut, sesame, castor oil at night. 4. Apply amla juice on hair thrice a week. 5. Use a paste of bhringraj on hair. 6. You can use some good hair packs like - fenugreek and yogurt, egg and green tea. 7. You can rinse your hair with organic apple cider vinegar after washing your hair to maintain ph balance of your hair. 8. Hair health depends on the amount of protein in your diet. Foods like chicken, eggs, fish, nuts, dry fruits gives you the required nutrients to keep your skin and hair healthy. So consume plenty of them. 9. Drink lots of water to flush out toxins from the body.

I am 54 years old and have undergone a bypass surgery in august, 2014. I wish to know what is the treatment available for peyronies and can it be cured with ayurveda?

Peyronies disease is connected with scars along penile curvature and nothing to do with bypass surgery. You may try such med which are used for abnormal tissue growth but ayd is for long term treatment but without side effects. Effect will depend on body response. Dryness of hair is the indication that hair has deficiency of minerals. Dry hair and oily scalp is also suggestive of thinning of hair. Minerals we get through water so drink 3 lit of water/day. Eat food which is rich in proteins and iron. Oil the scalp with jaborandi hair oil 3/week and wash it 3 /week. With all these changes even dandruff will settle down. Don't use anti dandruff shampoo. Take care.
