I am 48 years old both of my ovaries were removed recently what health problems shall I have in future.

M. sc Psychology, BHMS
Homeopath, Hyderabad
Here you did not mention the reason for what, you have undergone the surgery, but after removing the ovaries, obviously, that shows impact on imbalance of the natural hormones secreted by other organs, but here of course, you r anyway nearing the usual menopausal age], but even after you get natural menopause also, because of lack of secretions from that particular female organs, that impact will show on the other organs which secrete other hormones which balance mutually. The symptoms, you can expect are weight gain, mood swings, hair thinning, lack of appetite, drowsiness, weakness, jt pains, etc. But you can take precautionary measures in food intake, following exercises, like walking, yoga, engaging yourself in some work, meditation, practicing pranayama regularly, to avoid stress, to get peace of mind, takin plenty of water irrespective of your thirst, all will help to avoid the risks in future to max extent.

Typhoid is notoriously famous for causing abortion especially if left untreated. The infection can reach the baby to potentially put you at a risk of miscarriage, pre-mature birth or a low birth weight baby. Septic & early second trimester abortions are often seen in typhoid affected pregnant women. Because most typhoid patients are restricted to liquid diet, there is a good chance that you & your baby miss out on healthy nutrition. If the typhoid affected pregnant woman receives proper treatment the child born is usually healthy & safe. If you notice high grade fever immediately report it to your obstetrician for further diagnosis & proactive treatment.

Dear user. To TEST PREGNANCY AT HOME simply add urine to a small piece of soap, if froth forms, or if the soap bubbles up, the test is positive. Mix ¼ cup of tuna juice and ¼ cup of vinegar in a plastic cup. Now pee in a separate cup and then add your urine to this mixture. After a few minutes, if the color changes to green, then you are pregnant. Take care.

Effective Homoeopathic medicines for Menopausal symptoms

BHMS
Homeopath, Faridabad
Menopause is a natural biological event faced by women that leads to the permanent end of menses. It is the final result of a gradual decline in the functioning of the ovaries. As women reach menopause, their periods become irregular and scanty, until they permanently cease.

In some women, the periods cease suddenly. After a year of no menstruation, a woman is said to have gone through menopause. Menopause usually occurs between the ages of 45 and 52, although in some it may start as early as the late thirties and early forties. The symptoms of menopause are many, and most women go through a body and mind altering period during menopause.

Homoeopathic remedies offer a completely safe treatment for the various symptoms of menopause. Homoeopathic remedies for menopause are made of natural substances and have no side effects at all.

Symptoms of menopause

All women have to go through menopause, but it affects each woman uniquely. The symptoms of menopause may range from hardly any to severe ones. The common menopausal symptoms may be divided into three categories:

Physical symptoms: hot flushes, osteoporosis (weak bones), weight gain (obesity) and hair loss.

Mental symptoms: depression, mood swings, anxiety, irritability, sleeplessness.

Local symptoms: vaginal dryness, loss of libido (sexual desire), excessive vaginal bleeding (flooding).

Homoeopathic treatment for menopause
As the controversy regarding the use of hormones for treating menopause deepens, the need for a completely harmless treatment becomes stronger than ever. Talking about safety, the homeopathy provides natural ways to treat menopause and is completely safe with zero side effects. The natural homeopathic medicines are of great help in dealing with various symptoms experienced by women during menopause.

My mom has burning sensation in her palms and feet, since last 2-3 weeks, she has been taking paracetamol as per doctor's advice, i've researched on the internet and doctors say its a case of nerve damage, can any doctor explain me in clear what exactly this could be, and what are the tests we can perform to analyze this problem.

Hot hands and feet can refer to a warm sensation or a painful tingling in the limbs. This is often made worse at night, making it difficult to sleep, though performing physical activities can also cause this condition to appear. People 45 and older are more likely to develop hot, red or burning hands and feet than other age groups. In many cases this condition is temporary, but certain conditions can cause this condition to become permanent. Possible Causes of Hot Hands and Feet There are a number of conditions that can cause the hands and feet to develop an uncomfortable burning sensation. Evaluating your other symptoms will help you narrow down the cause so you can get adequate treatment. • Erythromelalgia- This condition is known to cause a burning pain, redness or increase in temperature in the hands and feet. These symptoms will begin as a tingling or itching that will slowly progress to a painful burning sensation. Some people note occasional flares of these symptoms while others experience them all the time. This condition may occur spontaneously or as a result of a neurological disease. Doctors will attempt to note underlying causes of this condition to ensure that proper treatment can be administered. • Carpal or Tarsal Tunnel Syndrome- These conditions are very similar in nature. Each causes pressure to build up on the joints, leading to a burning sensation in the hands and feet due to the compression on the nerves. This sensation is often described as an electric shock that radiates out from the affected joints. • Hypothyroidism- Hypothyroidism is a condition that is caused when the thyroid is not producing enough of the necessary hormones. If this is left untreated it can cause the joints to develop a hot or burning sensation, which can manifest itself strongly in the hands and feet. • Kidney Dysfunction- If the kidneys are not functioning the way they should it can lead to a burning sensation throughout the body. This is caused when the body is unable to rid itself of cell waste through the bloodstream, leading to a buildup of waste. If the cells are constantly exposed to these toxins they can begin to break down, causing bodily damaged. If this condition is severe enough, the patient may need to begin dialysis treatments to rid themselves of this waste. • Liver Damage- On a similar note, waste and toxins can build up in the body if the liver is not filtering them away the way it should. If toxins are allowed to build up in the bloodstream it can cause a burning pain throughout the body which may become more severe in the limbs. • Nerve Damage- Damage to the nerves can cause an uncomfortable burning sensation to appear. This symptom will typically begin in the limbs before spreading throughout the body. Conditions such as diabetes can cause this damage to appear. Managing these underlying conditions will be a key to eliminating your discomfort. • Vitamin Deficiency- A diet that is low in B1, B5, B6 and B12 can cause a burning sensation to develop in the hands and feet. This is caused when the body is unable to maintain the nervous system properly. Adjusting your diet or taking supplements to increase your vitamin intake can help eliminate these symptoms.

Primary objective of your treatment is weight reduction and maintain normal BMI of 18-25. This will regularize the monthly cycles and also help you get pregnant. You can take Metformin to reduce weight. You don’t need to take any medicine till 3 months for the menses to come. Only after 3 months of missed menses you should take medicines like progesterone Tablet (Deviry 10 mg twice a day for 5 days) for getting menses. For reducing your weight you should have brisk walk or jogging for 4-5 km daily, high protein diet (fish, chicken, mutton without fat, pulses, mushrooms), low carbohydrate diet (avoid rice, chapatti, bread, poha, upma, idli, dosa, potato, sugar etc and can use bhakri instead) and low fat i. E. Less oil and preferably use rice bran oil.
