My brother have 2 stone in kidney of size 7 mm and 3 stone in urine bladder. Is there any natural medicine or any yoga process that stones can come out from body and there is no need of surgery?

BHMS
Homeopath,
My brother have 2 stone in kidney of size 7 mm and 3 stone in urine bladder. Is there any natural medicine or any yog...
Dear lybrate user, a kidney stone is mainly formed due to the accumulation of the minerals present in urine. Such accumulation occurs mainly due to low intake of fluids. Continuous low fluid intake results in the deposits of the minerals over the stone & eventually leads to an increase in the size of the stone. Formation of stone leads to pain along the kidney region. If the size of the kidney stone is below 3 mm then it is possible to get rid of it without any surgery. Take homoeopathic mother tincture berberis vulgaris q, 30 drops, thrice daily, after meals, in a cup of water for 15 days. The stone will be expelled through urine in between the span of 15 days of medication. But if the size of the stone is more than 3 mm then you should surely go for surgery.

Any elderly (60 years or more) who is a diabetic must have influenza vaccine yearly always in the month of September to October. It takes one month for the vaccine to develop protection. The problem of inflenza is most in cold weather. That is the reason.

Kidney stones treatment depends on the types and size of stone, most kidney stones won't require invasive treatment. You may be able to pass a small stone by: drinking water. Drinking as much as 2 to 3 quarts (1.9 to 2.8 liters) a day may help flush out your urinary system. Unless your doctor tells you otherwise, drink enough fluid mostly water to produce clear or nearly clear urine. Pain relievers. Passing a small stone can cause some discomfort. To relieve mild pain, according to your medical history I may prescribe pain relievers such as ibuprofen, acetaminophen or naproxen sodium. Medical therapy. I am a doctor and renal (kidney) dietitian who will aslo prescribe a customized diet plan and medications to help pass your kidney stone quickly and with less pain. Do reply back for medications. Being also a general physician, I prescribe both evidence based herbal as well as allopathic medicines complementing with dietary tips taking into account patient preferences.

Hi i am Having toothache. Its paining too much.

BDS
Dentist,
Kindly get an x-ray done and only then can the required treatment be planned. Most likely you will have to get root canal treatment done followed by a crown or cap. Till then you can take a pain killer like zerodol pt but this will give you temporary relief. Kindly brush your teeth twice daily using correct brushing technique.

Which one is good? Wheat vs Jowar. What is the difference between them,? Wheat chapati or jowar rotte?

Doctrase in Dietetics, Ph. D - Psychology
Dietitian/Nutritionist, Delhi
Which one is good? Wheat vs Jowar. What is the difference between them,? Wheat chapati or jowar rotte?
Hundred gm of jowar contains 339 Calorie. Whole wheat contains about the same number of calories. Wheat contains more protein, dietary fibre, calcium, phosphorus, potassium, niacin, riboflavin, and thiamine when compared with jowar. Practically the only thing jowar beats wheat at is in iron content, and that too by the tiniest of margins. Diabetics will be pleased to note that wheat is a better food for them than jowar. The chapati has a lower glycemic index when compared with jowar roti, which means that it will release sugar into the bloodstream at a slower pace. Jowar may be tougher to chew but, surprisingly, wheat is much higher in dietary fibre. Wheat has a better amino acid profile when compared with jowar. Jowar also contains anti-nutritional and toxic principles that can lead to other nutritional deficiencies on prolonged consumption. Wheat is not recommended for the minuscule part of the population that is gluten-sensitive. Jowar, which is relatively gluten-free, is undoubtedly a better food for them. So, do not despair if you find it too hard to knead jowar dough; it really isn't worth it unless you are doing it for the taste.

Thank you for writing to us. Please follow the below recommendation for your condition: Cinnamon Tea - Directions for its use: Place the cinnamon in a mug and cover with 8 ounces of boiling water. Steep for 15 minutes before straining. Drinking 1-2 times a day. OR -- Place green tea and ginger in a strainer or sieve and cover with 8 ounces of boiling water. Steeping green tea for too long can leave it with a bitter taste, so don’t exceed 3-4 minutes. You can stir in a little raw honey if you really need to sweeten it, but avoid milk or sugar at all costs. Drink 1-2 cups daily on an empty stomach. If this does not works then get back to me. Thanks.
