Home Remedy- Make a paste of neem leaves and apply on the targeted pimples. If you cannot get fresh neem leaves, try to get some dried bottled neem leaves, steep for 10 minutes in warm water and use as a paste. Treatment- 1-Apply pranacharya chandrakanta lep on your face for 15 minutes then wash it with warm water. 2-Take pranacharya b clean syrup 2-2 tsf twice a day. 3-Take pranacharya allergin capsule 1-1 twice a day. Wash your face with any good ayurvedic soap containing neem etc. Diet-avoid taking tea and coffee. Spicy food and junk food. Drink lots of water and fruit juices.

I suggest you easy method of weight gain just follow it for year you will gain weigh defiantly 1. Start exercise regularly for 3 month and then after 3 month leave it for 3 month at the time of exercise your diet will increase but same diet continue after 3 month when you stop exercise so thats why your weight will increase automatically now we discus about diet 2. Take dates with milk in the morning breakfast 3. Triphala kadha 4 tsp beore lunch and dinner 4. Amala juice 4 tsp + 2tsp sugar + 2tsp honey in the morning empty stomach this take for 1.5 month only your weight gain will take definitely note=avoid over eating. When you are trying to gain weight, you should eat food the rich in vitamins and minerals. 1. Healthy food includes meat, egg, milk, fruit vegetables, fruits, and nuts. Cashews, almonds, dates, walnuts, dry grapes, apricots, peaches are some of the dried fruits and nuts that can be added to breakfast, salads, cereal and desserts. Things you should know about Polycystic Ovary Syndrome (PCOS). I am Dr. Jyotsna gupta (Gynecologist/Obstetrician). What is Polycystic Ovarian Disease (PCOD) or Polycystic Ovary Syndrome (PCOS)? Polycystic ovary syndrome (pcos) is a health problem that can affect a woman's menstrual cycle - Ability to have children. Appearance Hormones Blood vessels Heart With PCOS/PCOD, women typically have high levels of'androgens, these are sometimes called male hormones, though females also make them. Many a times,small cysts (fluid-filled sacs) are formed in the ovaries. What causes PCOS? The cause of PCOS is unknown. But most experts think that several factors, including genetics, can play a role. Women with pcos are more likely to have a mother or sister with pcos. A main underlying problem with pcos is a hormonal imbalance. In women with pcos, the ovaries make more androgens than normal. Androgens are male hormones that females also make. High levels of these hormones affect the development and release of eggs during ovulation.High androgen levels can lead to Acne, excessive hair growth, weight gain problems with ovulation. How many women have pcos? Between 1 in 10 and 1 in 20 women having childbearing age has pcos. It can occur in girls as young as 11 years old. What are the symptoms of pcod or pcos? The symptoms of pcos can vary from woman to woman. Some of the polycystic ovary syndrome symptoms include: infrequent, absent or irregular menstrual periods. Infertility (not able to get pregnant) because of not ovulating. In fact, pcos is the most common cause of female infertility. Increased hair growth on the face, chest, stomach, back, thumbs, or toes, male-pattern baldness or thinning hair. Cysts on the ovaries, acne, oily skin or dandruff, weight gain or obesity, usually with extra weight around the waist. Skin tags excess flaps of skin in the armpits or neck area, pelvic pain, anxiety or depression Patches of skin on the neck, arms, breasts, or thighs that are thick and dark brown or black Sleep apnea when breathing stops for short period of time while asleep. How do I know if I have pcos? There is no single test to diagnose pcos. Your doctor will take the following steps to find out if you have pcos or if something else is causing you symptoms. Medical history - your doctor will ask about your menstrual periods, weight changes, and other symptoms. Physical exam - your doctor will measure your blood pressure, body mass index (bmi), and waist size. He or she also will check the areas of increased hair growth. You should try to allow the natural hair to grow for a few days before the visit. Pelvic exam - your doctor might want to check to see if your ovaries are enlarged or swollen by the increased number of small cysts. Blood tests - your doctor may check the androgen hormone and glucose (sugar) levels in your blood. Ultrasound (sonogram) - your doctor may perform a test that uses sound waves to take pictures of the pelvic area. It might be used to examine your ovaries for cysts and check the endometrium (lining of the womb). This lining may become thicker if your periods are not regular. How is pcos treated? Because there is no cure for pcos, it needs to be managed to prevent problems. Treatment goals are based on your symptoms, whether or not you want to become pregnant, and lowering your chances of getting heart disease and diabetes. Many women will need a combination of treatments to meet these goals. Some treatments for pcos include: lifestyle modification. Many women with pcos are overweight or obese, which can cause health problems. You can help manage your pcos by eating healthy and exercising to keep your weight at a healthy level. Healthy eating tips include: limiting processed foods and foods with added sugars, adding more whole-grain products, fruits, vegetables, and lean meats to your diet. This helps to lower blood glucose (sugar) levels, improve the body's use of insulin, and normalize hormone levels in your body. Even a 10 percent loss in body weight can restore a normal period and make your cycle more regular. Birth control pills. For women who don't want to get pregnant, birth control pills can control menstrual cycles .Reduce male hormone levels Help to clear acne. Fertility medications - Lack of ovulation is usually the reason for fertility problems in women with pcos. Several medications that stimulate ovulation can help women with pcos become pregnant. Even so, other reasons for infertility in both the woman and man should be ruled out before fertility medications are used. Another option is in vitro fertilization (ivf). Ivf offers the best chance of becoming pregnant in any given cycle. It also gives doctors better control over the chance of multiple births. But, ivf is very costly. Surgery - ovarian drilling is a surgery that may increase the chance of ovulation. It is sometimes used when a woman does not respond to fertility medicines. This surgery can lower male hormone levels and help with ovulation. But, these effects may only last a few months. Medicines for increased hair growth or extra male hormones. Medicines called anti-androgens may reduce hair growth and clear acne. Anti-androgens are often combined with birth control pills. These medications should not be taken if you are trying to become pregnant. Before taking any medicines tell your doctor if you are pregnant or plan to become pregnant. Do not breastfeed while taking this medicine. Other options include: cream to reduce facial hair Laser, hair removal or electrolysis to remove hair. Hormonal treatment to keep new hair from growing. Does pcos change at menopause? Yes and no. Pcos affects many systems in the body. So, many symptoms may persist even though ovarian function and hormone levels change as a woman is close to menopause. For instance, excessive hair growth continues, and male-pattern baldness or thinning hair gets worse after menopause. Also, the risks of complications (health problems) from pcos, such as heart attack, stroke, and diabetes, increase as a woman gets older. Polycystic ovary syndrome and pregnancy - how does pcos affect a woman while in pregnancy? Women with pcos appear to have higher rates of miscarriage premature delivery. Pregnancy - induces high blood pressure. Does pcos put women at risk for other health problems? Women with pcos have greater chances of developing several serious health conditions. Recent studies found that women with pcos can have diabetes or pre-diabetes at early age. Women with pcos are at greater risk of having high blood pressure. Women with pcos can develop sleep apnea. This is when breathing stops for short period of time during sleep. Women with pcos may also develop anxiety and depression. It is important to talk to your doctor about treatment for these mental health conditions. Irregular menstrual periods and the lack of ovulation cause women to produce the hormone estrogen, but not the hormone progesterone. Progesterone causes the endometrium (lining of the womb) to shed each month as a menstrual period. Without progesterone, the endometrium becomes thick, which can cause heavy or irregular bleeding. Over time, this can lead to endometrial hyperplasia, when the lining grows too much. If you have pcos, get your symptoms under control at an earlier age to help reduce your chances of having complications like diabetes and heart disease. Talk to your doctor about treating all your symptoms, rather than focusing on just one aspect of your pcos, such as problems getting pregnant. Also, talk to your doctor about getting tested for diabetes regularly. Other steps you can take to lower your chances of health problems include eating right, exercising, not smoking. How can I cope with the emotional effects of pcos? Having pcos can be difficult. You may feel embarrassed by your appearance, worried about being able to get pregnant, depressed. Managing pcos (diet and exercise) - following lifestyle and diet modifications can help manage pcos symptoms to an extent. Frequently have small meals (5-6 times a day) without fail, drink a lot of water (8-10 glasses). Try to consume 2-3 servings of fruits and vegetables every day. Stick to a high fibre diet (wholegrains/fruits/vegetables). Give preference to home cooked meals, add brightly colored and white vegetables to your diet. They have high anti-oxidants food to avoid - Fried/packaged/processed foods. Foods with high glycemic exercises, suggested work out at least 5 times every week for at least 30 minutes Running, swimming, yoga strengthening exercises . Even if you don't lose weight, exercise in pcos helps to improve things like- insulin sensitivity, frequency of ovulation, cholesterol, body composition. Getting treatment for pcos can help with these concerns and help boost your self-esteem. It is advised that you should consult gynecologist who can help you based on your symptoms and requirements to manage pcod/pcos.

Dear, these are some instructions & methods for good sleep : • Frequent oil massage of head with oil relax your mind and enhances sleep .You can also do foot massage daily it destress you . • Do not take stress . Do meditation and long breathing pranayams to relax the mind. • Do not take caffeine, tea & alcohol in excess and these are stimulant ,(activate) your brain result in lack of sleep. • Avoid drinking alcohol & smoking. • Avoid sleep during day time as it makes it harder to fall asleep at night. •Try to sleep early at night . Do not think during sleep . Do exercise and long walk daily . • Avoid to take sleeping pills because these are habit forming drugs and these drugs disturb your normal sleep pattern. • Take a bowl of curd daily in afternoon and one glass of milk at night daily .

Hi. As height can be gained till 21yrs. of age in males and 18yrs. in females, so your daughter has 8yrs. more to grow further! Start giving her homoeopathic medicines which are safe to take without any side-effects - Bakson's Hite-Aid and Five Phos. - both thrice daily and Thuja 1M/ one dose once a week - take them for 1 month only. Management: Give her milk and milk products which contains more calcium, more of protein (for cell multiplication) like pulses, legumes, sprouts, nuts, flaxseeds, non-veg, eggs, etc. Also, don't forget to include green vegetables, yellow veggies and fruits, seasonal fruits, salads, etc. Ask her to skip rope daily, initially 10-20 times later gradually and slowly increase the frequency as per your capacity. Let her get indulge in stretch exercises, and sports like basketball, volleyball. So we should take care of its natural processes like timings of food, variety of food.
One should intake lukewarm water in a day to day life, least amount of water can be consumed while having a meal and till 1.5 hours after a meal.
One should take a meal at a right time daily like morning evening.
Daily consumption of water should be 4-6 litre per day. One should go for a walk at least for half hour with an empty stomach.

Hi incorporate more fruits, vegetables, and whole grains into your diet while eliminating unhealthy foods. - if you are working or studying away from home, try to pack healthy lunch and snacks for yourself to avoid eating unhealthy food daily. - don't eat straight from the packet - use a plate or bowl to control how much you eat. - don't delay or skip meals. - cut down your consumption of aerated drinks and sodas. - drink at least 8 glasses of water every day. Drink water after waking up and before sleeping. Being dehydrated may make you feel like you're hungry, so it is important to stay hydrated. - have homemade fruit and vegetable juices - eat 5-6 small healthy meals every 2-3 hours, every day, instead of having a few big ones. This regulates your blood sugar level and your metabolism. - don't skip breakfast, instead, make it rich with complex carbohydrates and proteins, so it can provide you with energy to get through the day. Try to include the following as your morning breakfast, oats porridge, eggs on multigrain toast or daliya with sprouts. - avoid artificial sweeteners in processed foods. - eat slowly as it takes about 20 minutes for your brain to register if you're full or not. Eating too fast leads to overeating, so chew slowly to digest your food better and control how much you eat. - use a smaller plate to control your portion sizes and avoid overeating. - know your cravings and do not snack when you're emotional. It is said that you crave crunchy and savory food when you're stressed, frustrated or lonely. Figure out what you crave and replace them with healthier alternatives. - do not eat mindlessly; concentrate on your food instead of watching tv or playing with your phone to avoid overeating.

Hello lybrate user as due to long period of bending neck might be the pain has increased you can do hot spanging over it is there any swelling over it and do it for a week and reduce your timing for laptop but if it still persist go to an orthopaedics for further management.

Hye, Thanks for the query. It's possible you are not eating the right foods at the right time as needed by the body. Gaining weight requires you to eat more calories than you burn. Although fried or sugary foods are calorie dense, eating them exclusively won’t provide enough nutrition to keep you energetic and healthy. Eating several meals and snacks throughout the day and including nutritious, calorie-dense food will help you gain weight healthfully. Weight gain depends primarily on your genetics, age, weight and activity level. To gain weight, you need to eat more calories than you burn. Eating nutritious, calorie-dense foods every meal will help you get your calories in without making you overly full and sluggish. If you tend to forget to eat or are always on the go, bring calorie-dense snacks such as eggs, mixed nuts, fruits and dairy. Nutritious, calorie-dense foods provide essential vitamins and minerals, which promote good health and energy. Meal-replacement shakes and protein powder sound like good options but also remember that unless your diet is not planned sadly they won't help.

Inspite of having regular medicines still your problem persists means.there is some background causes like stress or too much of thinking or tension or irregular food habits or lack of sleep or having junk food or having outside food contains baking soda or bakery food or not having 3 times meals properly or too much of having coffee and tea if any of there maintaining causes present means try to resolve it.and do regular exercises and don't have water while having food.drink water after 45 minutes of having food

Drink two litres of water. Eat plenty of pulses, meat, fish and milk. Avoid hair cosmetics. Wash hair twice or thrice a week. Shampoo should be done to wash dirt, dust and grime and not for anything else. Don't use dyes, bleaches or straighteners. Massage scalp to improve circulation. After a bath, don't blow dry your hair instead naturally dry hair. If any scalp infection, get it treated. Any allergy should be taken care of

The other tooth needs to be checked But surely u can get implants done. But surely at a very young age u have lost some teeth That's not good Start brushing at night too if u r not doing it Don't let anymore tooth catch decay now

I am 58 years, hale & healthy till last 7 months, due to depression doctor put me under medication for the past 7 months with depsito 10 mg, clono0.5 mg. After taking this drug my regular bowel movement got disturbed to 3 days once. Regular food habit morning breakfast by 8.00 am, lunch only fruits by 12.30 hrs, dinner by 19.30 hrs, chapatti with vegetables, greens & salads. Use to have 3 lit of water every day. To overcome irregular bowel movement started taking kadukai powder for the past 4 days. Please Suggest to have regular clean bowel movement ?
