Dear Lybrate User, *Coriander leaves Paste-: Paste of fresh coriander leaves (commonly called Dhaniya Patti) can be applied to the brow. Also the lovely smell of the herb can be effective too. *The Juicy Coconut-: Daily intake of coconut early morning being empty stomach may lessen the chances of nose bleeding. *Sap of Grapes-: The sap of grapes when taken with honey is effectual for curing Epistaxis. *Pine bark Extract-: Extort of pine bark has bioflavonoids, which help in healing blood capillaries in the nasal region.

My face colour doesn't match with my body color and lots of pimples in my face. What should I do to remove them.?

My face colour doesn't match with my body color and lots of pimples in my face. What should I do to remove them.?
Pimples form when dead skin cells mix with excess oil this mixture plugs the pore, causing swelling. It is very important to keep your face clean when trying to prevent pimples. Washing your face removes dirt, impurities and any excess oil that has built up on the surface of your skin. Use a clean dry towel to pat your face dry. It is important to protect your skin from sunlight by applying a sunscreen with an SPF of 30 or higher. Eat well : Although it?s been proven that chocolate and other junk food don?t actually cause pimples, stay away from oil. Greasy foods can still have a positive effect for your skin. Mix a little turmeric powder with a little coconut oil and apply directly onto the pimples at night. Next morning wash your face with water Whatever you do, do not pop pimples as that will leave a scar behind which is even difficult to get rid of. If your acne problem persists despite using these remedies for a few weeks, see a skin specialist.

Knee pain- reasons can be- * cold weather *sitting in inconvenient posture constantly, without changing your position or without movement, *wearing ill fitting sandals, *lack of exercise or *internal disorder like arthritis. Point to observe- * if you have difficulty in climbing stairs, take lift while going upstairs. If there is no lift, go up slowly. * if it is due to strain of games or injury, take rest. * if it is due to obesity, reduce weight. * if it is due to constant sitting at a particular posture, change posture and engage in slow walk. * walking regularly at slow pace without unduly straining helps as it improves blood circulation around knee and eases the joint. *you can use mustard oil for massage which is good in winter season for relieving pain. Eucalyptus oil is also good homoeopathy has a good treatment for this without adverse effects. Take rhustox 200---twice daily morning and evening and give feedback after 7 days

I am 21 year old boy and having black dark spots below my right eye. What should I do?

I am 21 year old boy and having black dark spots below my right eye. What should I do?
Genetics are the biggest culprit. If you inherit fair or thin skin under the eyes, it’s more obvious when blood pools there (often because of slower circulation from lack of sleep). This accumulation causes fragile capillaries to stretch and leak. Age is another factor. Over time, skin loses collagen and thins, so veins show through more prominently. Sunbathing speeds up this process by breaking down collagen and mottling skin color. Seasonal allergies are to blame for many people. “They trigger the release of histamines in the body, which in turn inflame blood vessels and cause swelling,” says Ranella Hirsch, a dermatologist in Boston. To determine why your circles happen, gently stretch the skin under your eyes. If that area becomes darker, the circles are probably due to genetics or aging. If the color doesn’t change, UV rays or allergies are probably the cause. USE A RETINOID Look for one that's especially formulated for the eye area, like RoC Retinol Correxion Eye Cream. The vita • min A derivative will fade pigment and increase collagen production to make skin less transparent so dark circles are less noticeable. For reatment and any querries ask privetly

3 Signs When Males Need To See A Fertility Specialist

3 Signs When Males Need To See A Fertility Specialist

If you’ve been facing problems in conceiving, it may be time to get yourself checked as it’s possible that you may be suffering from certain fertility issues or need professional guidance. A series of tests usually determine the root cause of the problem. These tests can include a physical examination, analysis of semen and blood tests, amongst others. There are certain factors that you and your partner must keep in mind when deciding upon the best time to opt for these tests and get started on an infertility treatment programme.

If you’re a female, it’s time to get yourself examined when:
1. You haven’t been able to conceive for over a year despite trying (when you are under 35).
2. You haven’t been able to conceive after trying for 6 months (above the age of 35).
3. You’ve had 1 or more miscarriages.
4. You’ve been ovulating irregularly and your previous drug treatment has failed to correct the problem.
5. You suffer from damaged or blocked fallopian tubes and endometriosis (a condition where tissues that cover your uterus also develop outside of the womb, causing pain and bleeding).
6. You have a history of genital infections.

If you’re a male, you should consider an infertility treatment if you experience the following:
1. Facing difficulty in sperm ejaculation.
2. Suffering from a low sperm count including poor sperm movement or structure (sperm’s shape and size).
3. Having an undescended testicle (a genital abnormality that occurs when the testicle fails to move into its normal position in the scrotum during the first 3 months of your life).

Apart from the above mentioned points, another important factor that you and your partner must decide upon is whether or not you intend to use assisted reproductive procedures, such as ICSI (IntraCytoplasmic Semen Insertion) or in vitro fertilization (IVF) to help in conceiving. While the former sees fertilisation occurring naturally after the eggs and sperm get placed inside one of the two fallopian tubes, the latter deals with the transference of the embryo created in the laboratory into the uterus.

Even though the thought of infertility can be disappointing for you and your partner, early and timely intervention can help in easing up the process of conception and remove obstacles that might hinder your chances of having a baby. If you wish to discuss about any specific problem, you can ask a free question.
