Requires detailed examination and investigation. Preliminary investigations suggested: hb, tlc, dlc, esr, blood sugar fasting & pp, uric acid vit d urine r/e x-ray of the affected part. Anyway it may be tried sleep on a hard bed with soft bedding on it. Spring beds, folding beds or thick mattress are harmful use no pillow under the head. Do hot fomantation paracetamol 250mg od & sos x 5days. Caldikind plus 1tab od x10. Do neck, back, knee & general exercises. It may have to be further investigated. Do not ignore it. Let it not become beginning of a bigger problem. Make sure that patient is not allergic to any of the medicines that he/she is going to take. If it does not give relief in 4-5days, inform.

One sided back pain in young age is commonly due to muscle strain resulting from incorrect posture. Follow these to get relief. 1. Take anti inflammatory drugs like ibuprofen round the clock for pain relief for 3 days. 2. Take rest for 3 to 4 days but avoid total bed rest. 4. Do back strengthening and stretching exercises daily once pain is relieved. 5. Apply analgesic cream over back followed by warm fomentation. 6. Keep pillow behind your knees at bedtime. While sleeping on sides keep pillow between knees. 7. Do not bend and lift weights. For further queries consult again.

Contrast Fomentation (Hot and Cold). Avoid Squatting- Avoid sitting Cross legged Avoid Squatting- Quadriceps Exercises- Lie straight, make a towel role and put it under the knee, press the keen against the role, hold it for 20 secs. Repeat 20 times twice a day. This will help relieve some pain. Core Strengthening Exercise- Straight Leg Raised With Toes Turned Outward, repeat 10 times, twice a day. Hams Stretching- lie straight, take the leg up, pull the feet towards yourself, with a elastic tube or normal belt. repeat 10 times, twice a day.

Change your work place or do work in breaks. Working in single position for prolonged time is create more load on joints n muscles. And in standing position it disturbs your circulation also. Do some physical exercises stretching n strengthening for lower limbs muscles. Or consult nearer physiotherapist doctor.

Advice. Regular stretching of shoulder muscles. Warm up and cool down is a must. Hot fomentation. Advice. Gentle stretching of hand muscles. Ball exercises. Wrist exerciser.

I am staying in a hostel and here it's chlorine water only available for bathing. It's been 3 years and now I am experiencing heavy hair fall. I used to have mixed diet 3 years back. Start taking black til (seasam) with a glass of lukewarm milk early morning. Avoid pickles, spices, oily, greesy food items, too much of salt in food shud be avoided. Start avle ka murabba daily. Also have a high protien rich diet e. G. Pulses, dry fruits, black gram, ground nut etc, white of egg (if you eat egg). Also oil your hair with good herbal oil and wash with herbal shamppoo - avoid shampoos with high acid contents. As far as ayurveda's therapy is concerned - start with shirodhara with herbal oil and nasyam therapy for atleast 15 days. This will greatly help. Do gentle massage with herbal hair oil daily night for 15 minutes.

Extension Exercises x 15 times x twice daily - lying on tummy, take left arm up for 3 seconds, then bring it down, right arm up for 3 seconds, bring down. Bring right leg up, hold for 3 seconds, bring it down. Then right leg up and hold for 3 seconds and bring it down. Repeat twice a day- 10 times.

Hello lybrate user, pain at the site of accident that occurred in 2008 can be due to some occult intraarticular fracture i. E a fracture that occurred which was not detected, and was inside the joint. These types of injuries occasionally pain years later as arthritic changes occur in the joint. Need to see the x-ray of your hand in anteroposterior and oblique views. Till then use thumb spica for pain control and hot water fomentation twice thrice daily. God bless you.

Treatment- 1-apply prasarini oil or pranacharya restopain oil on your affected part and give hot water fomentation . 2-take yograj guggul and agni tundi vati after lunch and dinner with warm water. 3-Take maha rasnadi kwath 2-2 tsf twice a day. 4-Take pranacharya vatari capsule and syrup twice a day.. Diet- Avoid fermented food...Junk food....potato rice....sleep well......

Core strengthening exercises- straight leg raised with toes turned outward, repeat 10 times, twice a day. Back stretching- lie flat, pull one of the knee forward to chest, hold for 3 seconds, then bring the other knee forward to the chest and again hold for 3 seconds. Then pull both knees towards the chest and hold for 3 seconds. Repeat 10 times each exercise twice a day.

Don't walk too much. Don't stand for long. Do not change your posture too quickly. Do not sit in the floor. Walk slowly. And by homoeopathic treatment this can b relieve.

Every day I used to run on treadmill at my gym. But I got closed for renovation purpose. So from last week I am running in a park having track made of locking tiles. But from last 3-4 days I have pain in my lower leg front side which is increasing with everyday while jogging. But when I rest pain disappears. What should I do? Should I get an X-ray?

If you r running on block tiles use shoes with good cushions or else stop running on blocks n start running on ground or grass surface. Running on road too can cause same problem.
