Rubela is not the reason for not conceing. It only means you had infection. Its effect on foetus is variable. If it is active infection then can lead to abortion.

cycling, swimming, walking and healthy dieting. remember big hips can be genetic but good point is that the chances of a normal delivery are more in women with broad hips.

I'm 32 years old unmarried girl. I have a hard lump in my inner wall of vagina, not deep inside, it's at the inner side of the right lip of the vagina. It doesn't pain, I'm very scared.

MD, Bachelor of Ayurveda, Medicine and Surgery (BAMS)

Hi no need to fear it's a enlargement of bartholin glands which are present at the walls of vagina but make sure that the size should not increase hapzardly and by that you should not develop fever and sever pain if this kind of symptoms are there then you need to consult gynecologist and needs proper antibiotics. If still any doubts then revert me back.

Calcium Deficiency - 3 Signs You are Suffering from it

MBBS
General Physician, Gurgaon
Calcium Deficiency - 3 Signs You are Suffering from it

Calcium is known for its role in maintaining the bone health, from keeping your teeth stronger to normal functioning of the cells.  But there are various factors, which lead to a deficiency of calcium in the human body and paves the way for several complications.

Here are the top three signs that indicate you are suffering from calcium deficiency.

  1. Difficulty in sleeping: Sleep is essential for your bone health and calcium is directly associated with your sleep cycle. The level of calcium in your bones rises and falls when you are asleep and it reaches its peak when you are in deep slumber. This indicates that when you are unable to sleep properly, it is a warning sign of calcium deficiency. There are various researches that have confirmed, that by increasing the level of calcium, it is possible to restore the normal sleep cycle of an individual. This is also related to the role that calcium plays in the production of a sleep hormone called melatonin. When the calcium content in the body is really low, this hormone is not produced, thus, making it difficult for a person to sleep.
  2. Difficulty in losing extra pounds: Yet another frustrating aspect of any individual’s life is the inability to shed off excess pounds. This issue is also linked with the lack of calcium supply in the body. The calcium that’s stored in the cells assists in the processing and storage of fat. So the fat cells with high calcium content burn faster, making you lose weight. Thus, if you have trouble losing weight in spite of having a well-regulated diet and regular workout, it’s a sign that you are suffering from low calcium.
  3. Paresthesia: Though this ailment is not much heard of, it could be a sign of calcium deficiency. Paresthesia is a nervous disorder, which causes tingling sensation, tremors, numbness and loss of sensitivity. It could also lead to poor concentration, amnesia, confusion, hearing impairment, twitches and other physical as well as neurological impairment. This is because low calcium in the blood is connected with the health of your nerves.

The deficiency of calcium can manifest itself in different intensity, ranging from the non-existent to minimal to severe levels. Chronic calcium deficiency can lead to life-threatening diseases like rickets, osteopenia, and even osteoporosis. Therefore, you shouldn’t ignore these signs and consult an expert without delay. If you wish to discuss about any specific problem, you can consult a doctor and ask a free question.

I am a female and I have been married for past 6 years I have a five year old daughter and I am not able to conceive for the past five years my daughter when she was born had Mongolia spots is it curable or is it inter related with my pregnancy please let me know.

I am a female and I have been married for past 6 years I have a five year old daughter and I am not able to conceive ...
Mongolian spots are just hyperpigmented spots in newborns which may persist as birth marks. Isolated spots are not hereditary, nor related to any pregnancy disorder. Since you are unable to conceive for last 5 years, it is time you went for HSG test together with semen test of your partner.

Please tell me a question's answer I am a medical line student so please don't think bad at all If a girl do sex in age of 20 after she 4-5 year when she married her husband can find his wife do sex before or not? If yes explain me please

MD - Obstetrtics & Gynaecology, MBBS
Gynaecologist,
Please tell me a question's answer
I am a medical line student so please don't think bad at all
If a girl do sex in...
Yes and no! you may be surprised at my answer but the bottom line is trust. If the would be husband is trusting he will never bother about the hymenal bleed or tear or such considerations. But if the would be husband is" suspicious" then even if the hymen is intact, he can suspect that there has been premarital sex. Many a youth who indulge in pre marital sex, or flings in their youth, never think of these, esp men. Its the woman who has to face the burden of suspicion and guilt. Generally, the hymen of every woman differs, and in some it is very elastic while it is rigid in others. At times due to sports or some such physical activity the hymen may get torn on its own. In some the elasticity is so good it may remain intact even after repeated intercourse. Hymenal tears, whether by sex, or by such sports play can be simple cuts or it may get torn into small bits. What happens at sex, cannot be controlled by the woman or the man. The only way the hymen can be left intact it to" have no sex at all" so in effect, one can say hymen integrity cannot be an" indicator" of virginity. Nowadays there are many girls who are opting to go for hymenoplasty where the" plastic" surgeons and gynecologists can repair the hymen by various means but these surgeries are costly and may not give the same effect in all.

Optimize Sexual Intercourse in Respect to Frequency in Order to conceive fast?

MBBS, DGO, MD - Obstetrics & Gynaecology, MRCOG
Gynaecologist, Delhi
Optimize Sexual Intercourse in Respect to Frequency in Order to conceive fast?

As a start, women should learn more about their fertile and ovulation periods. It is important to exactly know the first day their menstrual bleeding starts. One can even keep a menstrual diary or note the dates on their mobile about when the bleeding started and when is the next one due. If we divide a month into four weeks roughly then the middle one week is the one where ovulation is more likely to happen and the woman would be most fertile. This is the perfect timing for you and your partner to try having a baby.

If you or your partner find it too stressful to count days and have physical relations on those days then it is best to have regular sexual intercourse once every 2-3 days throughout the month.

Another good indicator that a woman is fertile or is ovulating is when the mucus discharge of her cervix is either moist or sticky. The secretion may be white to cream in color, a little cloudy but mostly stretchy and thread like. This is the best period to have sex with your partner because the chance of pregnancy is much higher when compared to those days where you feel rather dry with no discharge at all. During this stage, the recommended frequency of sex is 3 to 4 times, until the discharge disappears.

When it comes to positions, always keep in mind that the semen has to be deposited closest to the cervix in order to conceive fast. Once the semen is there, the chances of them surviving are higher for they'll be sustained by the cervical mucus. There are certain sex positions that can penetrate the woman better than the others. Use them in order to conceive better. It may also help to stay in bed for 5-10 minutes after ejaculation to help sperm climb up into the uterus and a pillow under the hips would probably be a good aid.

There are other ways and methods that are known to initiate conception among women. Some believe that certain yoga practices can help a woman improve her chances of getting pregnant. In other cases, the use of natural herbs, spices, and certain health supplements are recommended. However, the best way to do it is still to consult with your doctor for a more professional conception and pregnancy guidance.
