Tips for backache: heavy objects should be pushed rather than pulled. The weight of the objects should be taken in your bent legs and arms and not in your back. During an acute attack sleep with a pillow under the knees. Choose shoes that offer good support in the arch and have low, but not flat, heels. Prop up one foot on a box or low stool when you're standing for a long time. Use a chair that provides support for your back, or tuck a little pillow behind your lower back.

You have told us the cause and treatment- you get better after drinking warm water-means acid collected in stomach gets washed away. Drink warm fluids like clear soups, warm water with honey and lemon, green tea or mild tea/coffee, warm water with meals. Make it a habit to drink warm water only but do take cold puddings/beverages once in a while. Good to know about your normal reports.

Follow these methods to clear dark circles fastly : • Take 6 to 8 hrs sleep regularly . • Do yogasana specially SINHASANA & Bhramari Pranayam . • Apply piece of cucumber on your both eyes . • Apply almond oil or you can apply capsule of vitamin E mix it in mosturiser or cream you have daily around the eye in night and massage it lightly daily . • Take a piece of potato and make it's juice by crush it apply its juice for 15 min daily . • • Take 1/2 teaspoon of turmeric (haldi ) with one teaspoon of besan mix it with water and make paste apply it around eyes for 10 minutes and make it dry remove it . • Eat green leafy vegetables daily and fruits daily . 1. Regular exercise of atleast moderate intensity, at least 150 minutes per week 2. Balanced intake of saturated fats that one can burn with exercise, (not more than 10 g per day) 3. Five almonds n one walnut per day 4. Reduce alcohol to moderate quantities, prefer red wine over whisky. (this is not applicable for the teetotallers)

Gaining weight is as difficult as losing it, if you are naturally thin. Skinny people complain that they can't put on any weight.If you want to build up weight, don't just eat high-calorie junk foods and rely on unnecessary supplements. Choose foods that are energy-dense and nutrient-dense whenever possible. Following are some tips to follow to increase your weight. You will take some time to gain the weight you need, but be patient. 1. If you have a rapid metabolism, then you must increase your daily intake of healthy foods (increase your intake of carbohydrates) to compensate for the rate at which you burn energy. Eat six smaller meals a day You should also eat more energy dense foods like healthy oils, dry fruits, seeds, nuts, pulses, etc. along with some starchy foods like potatoes, cereals, bread, pasta, rice, etc. 2. Consume more calories than you burn. Choose healthy calorie-dense food to add calories. Drink healthy beverages to add calories. Mangoes are rich in calories and carbohydrates, include them in your diet. 3. Eat healthy food frequently, 5-6 times a day - 3 larger meals and 3 smaller meals alternately. Separate them by at least 3 hours so you can digest each meal fully. Don't go without food for 5-6 hours after having a major meal. For example, if you wish to consume 3000 calories a day, you may eat 3 larger meals of about 650 calories and 3 smaller meals of about 450 calories. 4. Have a balanced diet. 5. Exercise regularly for putting on weight. Some thin people think that exercise is not good for them. This is not true, it keeps the metabolism high. Remember that eating alone is not sufficient. You don't want to gain fat but lean mass, so exercise is important. Resistance training exercises will help to increase your muscle mass, which in turn will increase metabolism. Learn to distinguish between weight gaining exercises and weight loss exercises. Note that if you do not get enough amino acids during exercise, the existing muscle may break down. Amino acids come from protein foods so you should eat such foods after exercise. Keep in mind that excessive exercise without putting back the energy you have used will not help you to put on weight.

Hi lybrate-user. I don't think the issue with you has anything to do with the aid. U r conscious of the fact that you have an impairment .though adequately controlled for. Relax.Chill. The issue with you is anticipatory anxiety. Yes anxiety is just a normal response to a real or perceived threat.in your case the interview n the interviewer. Pls Google rcpsych anxiety panic n phobias key facts to knw more. When anxious .our ability to focus. Pay attention n concentrate goes down. To listen properly one needs to be attentive. This isn't the first time you r facing anxiety am pretty much sure. Remember all the exams .vivas. Social situations you have faced so far. They also brought in a bit of fear .didn't they. Am pretty much sure you succeeded then n will now. Remember. Work is thy duty (preparing adequately n performing at the interview to the best of your abilities. 1.Take bland diet, Avoid foods which cause acidity like spicy, oily, fatty and junk foods, onion, garlic, citrus fruit, tomato etc 2..Have proper Breakfast, Don’t skip or postpone your meal, Take home made food, Avoid food and water from outside, 3.Eat smaller meals and don't overeat. 4.Drink plenty of water. Take your meal regularly and timely. Avoid fasting, Don’t skip your breakfast. 5. Stop smoking, consumption of alcohol and tobacco, excess tea or coffee if you are having, 7. Avoid stress 8. take one tablet of pan40 in the morning before breakfast daily for few days. 9. Consult for further advice

I have lost 8 kgs because of depression n because of that I am having back pain and body pains. What shall I do for the pain and to gain back my weight.

Stiffness & pain in back & other joints is quite a common condition. Rule out diabetes & vit. D deficiency or any other metabolic disorder. Sleep on a hard bed with soft bedding on it. Spring beds, folding beds or thick matress are harmful use no pillow under the head. Any way take ibuprofen 200mg od & sos x 5days you will need other supportive medicines also. Take multivitamins & other antioxidants along with. Do back (spine) exercises make sure you are not allergic to any of the medicines you are going to take do ask for detailed treatment plan. Do not ignore. It could be beginning of a serious problem. Once your backache is ok. Your depression may go away. If not, consult a psychiatrist.

Hi there are many reasons for loss of sleep among them stress is a major cause and following are some of the remedies for loss of sleep 1. Take a cup of hot milk with extra sugar 30 min before going to bed. 2. Do pranayama daily 30 min before going to bed. 3. If possible 30 min brisk walk in the evening daily 4. Eat slightly sweets daily for 15 days. Even after this if your sleep is not improved then go for medication by doctors prescription.
