Hello, Thanks for your query. I appreciate your efforts for medical consultation in so much distress. Codeine is an opioid compound which causes feeling of wellbeing and it is responsible for corex addiction. Opioid are highly addictive substance. It lead to psychological and physical dependence on it. Sudden stoppage of codeine lead to severe withdrawal like anxiety, lack of sleep, diarrhea and body ache etc. Which make it impossible to leave corex without help. Apart from that patient motivation is also needed to quit it. To quit codeine help of psychiatrist is needed as deaddiction is a complex and specialised work. For de addiction from corex following steps are followed: -Consent of the patient: So motivate him for treatment. -Motivational interviewing: by the psychiatrist. -Stoppage of codeine with prevention of discomfort or withdrawal by safe and long acting opioid compounds. Slowly tapering and stoppage of opioid compound over a period of few days. -Relapse prevention counseling. I hope this information has been both informative and helpful for you. In case of any doubt, I will be available for follow ups.

Migraine - How Homeopathic Remedies Can Help You Treat The Problem?

A migraine is a Neurovascular disorder. It is episodic with severe headache that is intense, often with severe giddiness, severe sensitivity to light, nausea, and vomiting. The affected individual recognizes that a migraine is on the way by its unusual sensation. The pain can last anywhere from half an hour to a couple of days and is periodic in nature. Though the exact reason for a migraine has not been identified but can be triggered by stress, caffeine, hormonal fluctuations, excessive cold or hot weather, excessive burnout, and strong odours.

When Headache is termed as migraine:

More than four attack for simple migraine without aura & two or more attack for complex migraine (with aura)

Main symptoms of migraine:

  • Throbbing, pulsating pain or dull congestive aching pain.
  • Dimness of vision and Nausea with or without vomiting
  • Hyper reactive to all senses like noise, light, smell, touch etc.
  • Hemicrania (one sided headache) or pain on the top of head (vertex).

Besides,

  • Triggering factors are responsible almost in each case.
  • Gradual onset of pain (rarely sudden) and goes to the pick & lasts for variable time (Hours to days).

The actual episode of a migraine can be broken into 4 stages, and though a person may not know in the first instance, with recurrent attacks, one becomes aware of when an attack is about to happen.

  1. Prodromal – There could be altered bowel movements, irritability and mood swinging, neck stiffness & tiredness.
  2. Aura – There could be visual disturbances along with pain in the legs and arms, twitching movement in muscles.
  3. Attack – This is the actual pain on one or both sides of the head along with nausea, vomiting, blurred vision and sensitivity to light.
  4. Postdrome – The person would be left exhausted and drained and needs a couple of days to get back to normal. Homeopathic treatment is supposed to be the best treatment for migraine because
    • It does not use pain killers (like allopathic).
    • It has no side-effects.
    • No palliation.
    • Recovery from the disease (or it is effective to cure the disease).

In homeopathy the holistic approach to cure the disease is quite unique, and is called Individualization. There is no other treatment procedure which follows individual type of medicine selection. That is, the doctor has to select the best medicine for each case of each individual and medicine may be different for the same disease. In homeopathy, there is no specific medicine for any disease condition. This toughest selection can be done by proper and through case-taking by a good homeopathic physician. An online search can give you multiple medicine names which claim to work for migraine headaches but be careful to avoid self-medication.

In NANOPATHY® (The Complete Care with Homeopathy) special formulated protocol is used to give Maximum Result with Minimum Medicine & without side effect in every disease condition. Treatment of migraine also comes in such protocol which will give you rapid relief. In case you have a concern or query you can always consult an expert & get answers to your questions!

I won't to increase my penis size and permanently so what should I do please help.

I won't to increase my penis size and permanently so what should I do please help.
While 85% of women were satisfied with the size and proportion of their partner's penis men were less sure of themselves. 1 45% of men believe they have a small penis. It has been concluded that flaccid lengths range around 7 to 10 centimetres (2.8-3.9 inches). Flaccid circumferences range around 9 to 10 centimetres (3.5 to 3.9 inches). Erect lengths range around 12 to 16 centimetres (4.7 to 6.3 inches). Erect circumference is around 12 centimetres (4.7 inches). A higher BMI and older age appear to be weakly associated with a shorter erect penis length. Male concern about whether penile size lives up to the desires of females seems to be Largely misplaced. One study suggested that while the majority of women, some 85%, were satisfied with the size and proportion of their partner's penis, men were less sure of themselves. 1 Almost half of men in the study (45%) believed they had a small penis - yet the researchers reported that small penis size was actually rare. The average penis size to be as follows: Average length for an erect penis is 14.2 cm (5.6 inches) Average circumference of an erect penis is 12.2 cm (4.8 inches). Men who want surgery to increase the length of their penis should try non-invasive methods like penile traction devices or extenders first, and in some cases, even try therapy to make them feel more confident about their bodies. There is no proven scientific method to increase size, girth or grip of penis although many false claims have been propagated by advertisements. The size is determined by an individual’s genetic build and length actually has no relation with sexual pleasure or satisfaction as many wrongly believe. Be happy with your individual qualities nature has bestowed on you.

I have been suffering from tonsillitis since 15 days. Accordingly, taken 5 days antibiotic and also homoeopathy. But it is still now. What I can do for it?

MS - ENT

Five days antibiotic course is inadequate to clear the infection. Minimum seven days treatment is required with proper dosage. If not responding to this culture sensitivity tests may be required.
