Dear 1. First of all, if you are obese then try to reduce weight which will automatically reduce your pain by 50%. 2. Avoid forward bending, lifting heavy objects and high heel foot wears. 3. Take giloy juice 15 ml twice daily 30 minutes after food. 4. Go for ayurveda panch karma treatment, which will cure your sciatica and knee pain problem. 5. Due to long sitting firstly tk break between work. Use a soft pillow for back support. Hear fermentation with rest time. Do spine stretching exercise. If it work then ok other wise tk physiotherapy treatment for few days.

Hello. To reduce your weight try some other alternatives like cycling instead of walking coz as per your symptoms you have back pain and walking may increase your symptoms. Also consult physiotherapist for back pain and learn stretching exercises for lower limbs.

Hopefully this one use may not do any harm. But it looks like you have learned a lesson and will no longer use this substance. There are many controversial claims about marijuana, and we need to wait until the dust settles to finally know the entire truth. The medicinal uses have been proven to a large extent and the use of this substance must be limited to that prescription only. Until then please do not use it at all. The sensation of numbness and perception of reduction in touch sensation may be connected but if you do not indulge in marijuana, it should disappear without much ado. I hope you are one who exercises regularly anyway because that is always good for your health and circulation. So don't worry too much and only if this sensory deprivation persists you will need to meet a doctor.

Having pain on the back of the knees during last eight months, done mri of lumber spine, no problems i. E. Reports are o. K. Done physiotherapy, ultrasound rays, treated under homeopathic doctor but all had no effects, continues pain, it is more when legs are lying on air, i. E. When seated on a sit. 4 years back my right knee got injured, my knee's ligament got cracked while played football. So, still sometimes it's disconnects upper bone and lower bone, of my right leg in up & down roads, when its disconnects its pains a lot. Then I have to bring to the normal position. Then I feel no pain. How to recover soon my cracked ligaments.

sounds like you have damaged your ACL in the knee. if you are having instabillity symptoms then you would require surgery (arthroscopic ACL reconstruction).

If your job is of standing for long time - use shoes appropriately which give less stress on long-time standing. Try to reduce weight lit bit. Check if back pain is associated with if it is you need to take treatment for back. If you have nodules in your calf region get advice from general medicine doctor. All the best!

I feel pain in my knees joint while getting up or bending down. It is on and off. I go for morning cycling every day for about 45 minutes I dive over flyovers and ups and downs. My weigh is normal. I wish to know cycling is going to reduce or increase the pain. I am doubting is this pain is because of increase in uric acid. I have clear urine and drink about 2 litres of water every day. Pls. Help me. I want to some solution for this problem.

You can get uric acid levels checked, though that may not be the sole reason for the pain in knees, it could be due to degenerative changes in the joint, you should stop cycling it will aggravate the pain, also avoid squatting, cross legged sitting, climbing stairs up and down and see how the pain is. If it is not better then you consult a physiotherapist and get appropriate treatment done along with the exercises which will benefit your knee muscles. Also if you are walking daily on an uneven surface that should be limited, instead walk on a smooth or plain surface like a park, ground etc.

I have uric acid count up to 6.6 ml . And my left leg thigh numbness has increased and acute back pain and leg pain . I'm on few medications , but is there anything I still can do ?

Your body produces uric acid when it breaks down purines — substances that are found naturally in your body, as well as in certain foods, such as steak, organ meats and seafood. Other foods also promote higher levels of uric acid, such as alcoholic beverages, especially beer, and drinks sweetened with fruit sugar (fructose). Normally, uric acid dissolves in your blood and passes through your kidneys into your urine. But sometimes your body either produces too much uric acid or your kidneys excrete too little uric acid. When this happens, uric acid can build up, forming sharp, needle-like urate crystals in a joint or surrounding tissue that cause pain, inflammation and swelling, called Gout. Homoeopathy offers permanent cure for such tendency since it is the susceptibility which makes one more prone for high uric acid while under same circumstances other people are normal . Normal Uric acid levels are 2.4-6.0 mg/dL (female) and 3.4-7.0 mg/dL (male). Normal values will vary from laboratory to laboratory. Also important to blood uric acid levels are purines.

Kindly show me photograph of the affected part--knee. Rule out diabetes & vit. D deficiency or any other metabolic disorder. Sleep on a hard bed with soft bedding on it. Kindly take biod3 max 1 tab dailyx10 paracetamol 250mg od & sos x5days do knee exercises make sure you are not allergic to any of the medicines you are going to take do not ignore it. It could be beginning of a serious problem. If no relief in 4_5 days, then contact me again.

Hello sir, Pain may be due to tennis elbow, follow this methods pain will be reduced if not reduce consult physiotherapist. Apply ice or hot water fermentation 3-4 times daily. Avoid weight lifting. Learn and do forearm muscles stretch.

Hi thanks for your query and welcome to lybrate. I am Dr. Akshay from fortis hospital, new delhi. You are very young to actually have persistent back pains. If you have localized back pain with no other symptoms like radiating leg pain, neurological symptoms like numbness, weakness, paresthesias etc, then you can start with following recommendations for initial period of 2-3 weeks: - to maintain proper posture of your back while working and sleeping - if pain is more then you can take a short course of an anti-inflammatory medication like tab etoshine or paracetamol or one which suits you - physical therapy initially under supervision of a trained physiotherapist and then to continue at home - adequate calcium & vitamin d intake if levels are low in body - ice packs can applied if your pain is acute, then hot fomentation can be done at home - analgesic spray for local application can be used and is easily available. - avoid lifting heavyweight/ acute forward bending in mornings etc we will observe you for next 2-3 weeks how you respond to this conservative management protocol. If you are not feeling better, then we will have to get some investigations like, dynamic x rays of lower back and few blood tests for evaluation. Generally ppl says eating banana will increase sugar levels for diabetic. Is it true but I like and feel this will not harm and I feel more energetic. I have cervical spondlysis. So should I take two big bananas per day. A diabetic can eat jack fruit . Final question , I would like to take 120 ML of scotch wishy in one sitting twice in a week. Will it affect my health increase my sugar levels. Please tell me madam.

What to have & what not to have really depends on your appetite. If you think you can digest 2 bananas daily & whisky twice a week, then its ok. For diabetes, apart from banana & whisky, there should not be any heavy food in your stomach. Eat light & easy to digest meals. Don't stuff your stomach. Have water only when thirsty. Mix trifla churanam & haldi & take 1 spoon at night while sleeping. Keep a gap of minimum 6 hrs between meals. Exercise daily, especially kapalbhati, yoga etc.
