I was diagnosed PCOS few years ago by USG and my doctor advised to exercise daily. Previously I could not exercise but recently I started and after 1.5 week I feel pain in my lower abdomen and nipples. It did not happened previously. Is it any bad signs?

Hello lybrate-user, some tips to lose weight are 1.1. Eat small and frequent 4 -5 meals in a day, instead of 3 heavy meals. 2. Drink 3 -4 lts of water daily. 3. Include high-protein foods like milk and milk products, paneer, dals, soybeans, eggs, chicken/fish (if non-vegetarian). Reduce excess carbohydrate intake like rice, banana, chips, burgers, pizzas, etc 4. Minimize sugar intake in the form of sweets, cakes, pastries, chocolates, etc 5. Use less of oil to cook your food as well as stop eating fried stuff like puris, chips, samosas, etc. 6. Include 30 minutes brisk walks 5-6 times a week.

Hello user you can apply 1spoon trifla churn boiled with the water. Apply this paste before washing your hairs. 10-15 min. Have a gooseberry 15 days in a month. Hi, as pain have started after child birth (presuming its to be normal delivery. You should know that during pregnancy, the body releases a hormone that relaxes the joints and ligaments in pelvis to make it easier delivery. Unfortunately, this instability also increases the risk of inflammation and joint misalignment, which can lead to lower back pain with time. The physical stress of parenting or caring for infants and young children can impart tremendous biomechanical strain. Daily repetitive stress from tasks that require lifting the child or infant can compromises spinal integrity. Repetitive injury to the disc, joints, muscles and ligaments of the spine can result from chronic lifting, twisting and poor posture. I suggest she should get precautionary mri done or other investigation to check for any other injury (like disc prolapse or infection or v. Prolapse). Check with gynecologist, orthopedician or physiotherapist. Advice: 1) to relieve pain suggest hot pack, ift and swd for 10 days. 2) specific pelvic floor and back core muscle exercise regime after complete assessment. Pointers: 1) she should avoid lifting heavy object 2) be posture aware, while doing daily routine work. 3) avoid staying in position for long time like avoid continuous standing or sitting. Thanks.

I have highly fever and pain in head, pain in body, and have weakness. What do in condition.
Hi, your symptoms are most likely because you are running fever at present. In case, it is viral, it is likely to stay for 3 - 5 days. You can do sponging, for 30 - 45 minutes with plain water, every time your temperature exceeds 102 degrees fahrenheit. Nevertheless, seek medical help immediately in case you feel the temperature is still not controllable, and your symptoms aggravate despite the above-mentioned measures including medication. Usually, people get weakness and body pain while during fever and also post remission of fever. For a speedier recovery, however, I would advise you to have a healthy yet light diet and take fruits/ juices and drink at least 6 to 8 glasses of water daily. It is advisable to remain on a fruits only diet, exclusively, for a day or two to begin with. You may take a glass warm milk to which a pinch of fresh turmeric powder and black pepper powder are added. Consuming water to which fresh tulsi leaves are mixed, also helps bring down fever. This can provide relief from fever, pains and cough, if any. Then after, gradually you can embark on a balanced diet with due emphasis on fresh fruits/ light cooked green leafy vegetables. Getting enough rest and relaxation are also key to a faster recovery, apart from the ones mentioned above. At the same time, do regularize your lifestyle too. Hope this helps.

Hi. Let me tell you about hairfall. In layman's language, hairfall can be divided into 2 types - temporary hairfall and permanent (which is called as 'Hairloss' rather). In temporary hairfall, hair grows back again from the same hair root, but in case of permanent hairloss, may be because of formation of DHT (Di- Hydro -Testosterone) around hair root it gets choked up, subsequently affects the blood supply to the hair and thus hair root is lost forever. (There are different pattern and types of hairloss, because of different reasons like Alopecia Areata, Telogen Effluvium, Scarring Alopecia, Traction Alopecia, etc.) Causes of hairloss: Many factors are responsible formation of this DHT or male/ female pattern baldness - hereditary, post-illness/ ailment, post-delivery, post- chemotherapy, nutritional deficiencies, hormonal imbalance, insufficient sleep, sudden loss of weight, stress/ tensions/ excessive anger, use of bore water, any other underlying diseases, etc. Need to rule out any causative factor or underlying medical condition. Management: Take diet rich in protein like non-veg., eggs (it's loaded with essential nutrients such as proteins, Vitamin B12, iron, zinc and Omega 6 fatty acids in large amounts and biotin) , different pulses & legumes, sprouts, nuts (sp. walnuts and almonds); iron-rich food like green vegetables, carrots, prunes, green peas; also oats, shrimp, take flaxseeds, sunflower seeds, sesame seeds, green tea, soyabean, fruits, salads, etc. Take low-fat dairy products (they also contain whey and casein, two high-quality protein sources) Take proper 6-9hrs of sound sleep. Cover your head with scarf or cap while stepping outside. Use Rose wood/ any wooden hair comb to brush your hair. Regular exercising is also one of the important point, but should be done under some good, qualified yoga teacher or instructor for proper guidance; it also releases the stress/ tension in the mind and the body and keeps you FIT and YOUNG!! Medication: Take homoeopathic Rx - Schwabe's Wiesbaden 200 & Alfalfa Tonic twice a day for 1 month and revert. Also, use Schwabe's Arnica shampoo and Hair Growth oil regularly as per the condition of your scalp (minimum 3 times a week). After shampooing, use Bakson's Arnica Hair conditioner as well after every head wash. Apart from this, take Follihair tablets (multivitamin) - 1 tab. daily once for 1 month. Hello lybrate-user, as you are having psoriasis since last 10 years, psoriasis is genetic disorder triggered due to stressful conditions and irregular life style. Psoriasis has three stages. First stage is when disease remain on skin and there are scaly patches. Second stage comes when there is pitting on nails and in last stage it enter the joints and there is pain in small joints. Generally patient use steroidal application on patches which give temporary relief and disease reappear after 2/3 days. In severe cases methotrexate is used which is not a safer option and is liver toxic. Ayurveda has got a complete remedy for psoriasis.
