diet and workouts go a long way in helping you gain strength to gain weight, you must eat more calories than you burn. When you gain weight, some will be fat and some will be muscle. To gain muscle, you must eat protein. To boost the ratio of muscle to fat gain, you must exercise. To gain muscle and strength, you must engage in resistance exercise. To improve bodyfat percentage and gain weight, you must cycle through phases of gaining muscle and losing fat. My wife have taken iPill and her period had started on 6th July and have lasted until 14th July. Her usual period date was 15th July. Today on 17th July, her period have again started. This is normal. She need not to take any medicines. The bleeding will settle of its own. I advise her to take proper balanced vegetarian diet. Take lots of water daily. Take fruits and vegetables in daily diet. Follow this and give feedback.

Take vitamin D if you haven't. If pain is too much take pain killers. Local analgesia gel like volini. Hot water bag etc. When it's relieved do back exercises or physiotherapy. It's a common symptoms post delivery especially if you put on too much weight and haven't exercised.

Hello, Gradual weight gain is always advisable and an increase in 500 kcal per day can result in a 0.5 kg per week increase in one’s body weight. For healthy weight gain, you need to add more muscle rather than fat to your frame and that can only come from wholesome foods. Keep the following basic principles in mind if you wish to gain weight in a healthy way: Increase your appetite by eating more to gain weight. But do it step-by-step and not by stuffing yourself too much at one go. Add one extra chapatti or more rice than you normally consume, or you even start with fruits by eating an extra one every day. Carbs are needed to gain weight but include healthier options like banana, potato, mango, whole grains, rice, etc. Instead of sugar-rich foods, chocolates, and other junk foods. In order to increase your muscle mass, it is essential to do weight training 4-5 times a week for an hour. Consume protein-rich foods after you workout to increase muscle mass and eat good fats like nuts and seeds in your diet. DIET CHART: Breakfast: 10 almonds, Banana milkshake, Cheese grilled sandwich in multigrain bread or stuffed parantha. Midmorning: Fruit ,Glass of sweet lassi. Lunch: 3 chapatis, Dal ,Mixed vegetable containing potatoes, Paneer or Non-veg (Chicken, Curd,Fruit. Glass of Milk with bournvita or Whey protein and vegetable sandwich Dinner: Same as lunch .Add a dessert like fruit custard or Kheer. Incase you wish to gain weight fast consult me privately.

Start drinking lot of water and atleast 1 litre of which should be honey water start your day with a handful of nuts consume high protein diet take sproutsor 2 boiled egg twice in a day consume salad before every meal.

  • As we all know that the prevalence of polycystic ovarian syndrome (pcos) is rising rapidly with each passing year. Though this disease can become a source of severe distress for some patients, it may be very well controlled if diagnosed in early stages. 
  • Apart from the bleeding irregularities and pain suffered by most females with pcos, another very important yet often neglected symptom is depression. A recent study I conducted myself showed more then 70% patients with pcos suffered from clinical depression. 
  • Hence any female within the reproductive age group of 15 to 40years should be screened for pcos if they are found to be depressed for a long period of time.

Hi Lybrate User, Muscle is gained through exercise and not food. Food/ protein can only support your muscle growth when you are doing intensive exercise. Proteins are best found in Eggs, Chicken, Fish for non veg. Other good sources, milk and all milk products, all dals, soya beans, kidney beans, mushrooms etc.

Hi, You can apply homoeopathic Schwabe's Topi-Berberis ointment over them twice a day daily. But if there are pits on the skin, then they can only be taken care with various skin treatments like microdermabrasion, skin polishing, chemical peels, laser, etc. but getting totally rid off this is a bit not possible or else you can consult a dermatologist.

Dear , follow these important tips to get fair colour of skin * avoid to go in strong sunlight and if you have to go in sunlight then cover your face & exposed parts of body before going in sunlight. * Use sunscreen having SPF 15 on face especially in summer and spring season. * Take vitamin -E rich foods like dry fruits, egg and fish as you like.You can take cord liver oil capsule daily. * Take more anti oxidant foods like fruits ( Apple, grapes, melon) and citrus fruits. * Make paste of Papaya and apply this paste on face & exposed body parts and leave it for 15 minutes. 1. Use mild shampoo to wash hair (you can make your own shampoo using reetha and shikakai at home) 2. Stop using conditioners. Use natural conditioners like Egg, Yougurt and Lemon. 3. Massage your scalp with a mix of oils like olive, coconut, sesame, castor oil at night. 4. Apply raw amla juice on hair thrice a week. 5.Rub your scalp with the juice of white onion. 6.Use a paste of bhringraj on hair. 7.You can use some good hair packs like - fenugreek and yogurt, egg and green tea. 8.You can rinse your hair with organic apple cider vinegar after washing your hair to maintain ph balance of your hair. 9.Hair health depends on the amount of protein in your diet. Foods like chicken, eggs, fish, nuts, dry fruits gives you the required nutrients to keep your skin and hair healthy. So consume plenty of them.
