I'm so depressed because of a love failure. I'm not able to forget him, even though he have done so many brutal things to me. Something is pulling me back to forget him. I lost my studies for a year because of mental depression. And I'm always thinking of ending up my life. I can't even think of a new life. I have been spending my 6 six years in my home itself. Nowhere to go. And nothing to move on. In getting mad of thinking about my love in my home. And sometimes I'm too aggressive. What should I do? Please tell me a way to forget him.

No body is worth dying for, period. Your life is too precious and if that guy had not appreciated it, you dump him. If you had broken up and you are still thinking about him, it only means that you loved this boy very much. I hope you were not the one to break up with him. If it was, then you have played a game and now you have regrets. The clock cannot be turned back again, I suppose. The trouble is that you want to attempted suicide over this love affair. This means that you might have entered into a symbiosis and him leaving has become life-threatening. That itself might be the reason for the breakup. Boys want a relationship where independence is respected and there is no clingy behavior. You have got to look into this aspect of your personality. Are you becoming too dependent on the boy and therefore demanding? This is not a welcome feature for a boy to want to maintain this relationship. You must develop yourself to become independent and responsible. Maintain respectful distance. There are three important developments in an individual that creates an autonomous personality: intimacy, awareness, and spontaneity. Of these, awareness is of great importance: it will help you know yourself internally and to also make you conscious of other people around you. This person is able to meet her needs and that of the other in a balanced manner. You must learn to do this soon. If you resolve the symbiosis, you will do really well. Meet with a counselor and describe your longings, needs and wants, openly. Take your parents along and let them describe your entire life till now and the counselor will get an understanding of your plight. Remove everything that is a reminder of this boy in the meantime and start working on your development. Life is too precious and no one is worth dying for. Demonstrate how you will look after yourself and work on doing that. Learn independence skills and do a personality development course too. By sitting at home you will brood and think of this boy more. So get out and socialize and that is how you are going to meet other boys, and make a new relationships: this time do not hurry and learn lessons from the past.

Tummy Fat - Can Surgery Be Considered to Reduce it?

Are your regular exercises and the strict diet proving futile on your quest for a tighter and a flatter tummy? You can consider getting an 'abdominoplasty' or 'tummy tuck' done. This cosmetic surgery helps in flattening your abdomen by taking off the extra skin and fat and tightening up the muscles in the walls of your abdomen.

The procedure
1. The first step involves choosing a surgeon for consultation.
2. There are two types of ‘tummy tuck’ surgery, both carried out under general anesthesia. ‘Complete abdominoplasty’ whereby, your surgeon would dissect your abdomen from one hipbone to the other and then give an outline to your muscle, tissue and skin. ‘Mini or partial abdominoplasty’ are recommended for people whose fat deposits are underneath their naval region.

Complete Abdominoplasty
‘Complete Abdominoplasty’ involves making a big incision around the lower part of the tummy from one hip to another, making a second cut in order to free the belly of the tissue that surrounds that region, separating the skin from the walls around the abdomen, re-aligning the muscles in the abdomen, removing the supplementary skin and fat and then pulling forth the skin remains and stitching them too.

Partial Abdominoplasty
Partial Abdominoplasty requires making a large cut on the lower belly, separating the skin from your abdominal wall, cutting out the excess fat, removing the additional skin and holding the remaining part of the skin together and finally stitching it in place.

Time taken for the surgery
The surgery may stretch from one to about five hours. Or you can consult a surgeon online.

Pre-requisites

  • You will have to cut down on the consumption of alcohol and especially smoking; smoking leads to more complication and slows down the healing process.
  • It is recommended to have a well-balanced meal before the surgery.

After-care

  • You may suffer from swelling and pain in the days after the surgery, for which your doctor would prescribe pain-killers.
  • Regardless of the type of surgery conducted, the portion that was operated on would be stitched and bandaged. Therefore, it is very important to abide by the surgeon’s instructions about how you should take care of the dressing in the days to follow.

Hello, Gaining weight is a slow process which requires patience and dedication! It not only depends upon the amount of food you consume daily, but also about eating Sensibly, depends upon your genes, your body's proper metabolism, assimilation and absorption, the levels of stress/ tension in your life, and any underlying medical condition you have! The food what and how you eat, makes the difference! For increasing your weight, concentrate on the below points (if you don’t have any medical condition) which helps in gaining weight in a right way without harming your body. - Consume more healthy fats. Foods containing healthy fats are full of nutrients and also high in calories, making them a great option for weight gain. Foods containing plant fats should be your first option - this includes items such as nuts, seeds, peanut butter, avocados and olive oil. Foods containing healthy animals fats include lean meats and full fat dairy products - although if you have high cholesterol, you should probably stick to low-fat options. -Eat more protein. Good sources of protein include lean meat, fish and poultry, in addition to eggs, whole grains, dairy products and legumes. -Drink more calories. Try drinking a large glass of orange juice in the mornings (along with your normal breakfast). Drink a glass or two of full-cream milk throughout the day. -Have 6 small and frequent meals in a day. -Gain muscle mass. It's a good idea to continue to exercise while you attempt to gain weight the healthy way. Strength training includes working with weights and performing exercises such as squats, deadlifts, bench presses, bicep curls, crunches, chin-ups and leg curls. Just keep in mind that the more you exercise, the more calories you will need to consume to replace those you lost while working out. -Quit smoking. As it suppresses the appetite. -Stay healthy. The most important thing through the entire weight gain process is to stay healthy - eating a balanced diet and continuing to exercise throughout. -Take enough of rest and sleep for rejuvenation of the cells and tissues. -Think Positive which will help you in achieving your target of gaining weight. -Avoid taking unnecessary stress/ tension. Medication: Take Schwabe’s Alfaalfa Tonic and Five Phos. Both thrice daily ½ an hour before meals for 3 months. Revert.

Dear lybrate-user. Restricting salt is ok. But to regulate health and improve further follow simple dietary changes. Add more fruit before meals. Replace wheat roti with mullets. Jowari Bari types. Drink plenty warm water. Take alkaline food to help further. Regards.

Hi, Here is a compilation of the most common causes that lead to cracked heels: • Naturally dry skin or thick dry skin (callus) around the heel that is more likely to crack is often due to excessive feet activity. • Prolonged standing at work or home. Hard floors may also cause cracks in the feet. • Being overweight may increase the pressure on the normal fat pad under the heel, causing it to expand sideways and if the skin lacks flexibility the pressure on the feet lead to cracked heels. • Back-open sandals or shoes allow the fat under the heel to expand sideways and increases the possibility of cracks on the heels. • Disease and Disorders-Athlete’s foot, Psoriasis, Eczema, Thyroid disease, Diabetes and some other skin conditions may also cause cracked heels. • Continuous exposure to water- Water, especially running water, can rob the skin of its natural oils and this can leave the skin dry and rough. Standing for prolonged periods in a damp area such as a bathroom can cause dry and cracked heels. Here is a list of some other reasons that may lead to cracked heels: • Age - Thick dry scaly skin lose elasticity with age and thus cracks have higher incidence with age. • Ill fitting shoes, standing for a long time or change in walking posture. • Unhygienic circumstances or conditions • Unhealthy, dry scaly skin due to climate or diseases • Deficiency of vitamins, minerals and zinc Home Remedies: -Soak the feet in lemon juice for about 10 minutes. Follow this therapy on a weekly basis until one finds a change. Then lightly scrub it with a loofa or soft foot brush to gently exfoliate the top layers of dead skin that cause dry cracked heels. -A daily regime of cleaning and moisturizing is a good cure for dry or cracked heels. At the end of the day soak the feet in warm soapy water for about 15 minutes. Rinse feet and pat dry. Make a healing mixture comprising of: one teaspoon Vaseline and the juice of one lemon. Rub this mixture onto the cracked heels and other required areas of the feet till it is thoroughly absorbed. This can be done daily until visible results are obtained. -A regular application of a mixture of glycerin and rosewater is known to soothe and cure cracked heels. Cracked heels are caused by deficiency of vitamins, minerals, zinc and omega 3 fatty acids. Therefore it is essential to have a diet rich in vitamins, minerals and zinc. Omega-3 fatty acids are not naturally produced by the body, therefore it has to be ingested from food or supplements.

I have a heart burn problem whenever I eat chillies and not eat chillies .I feel like heartburn and its irritates me a lot .I have taken medication as well .But medication only for few days again heartburn get started. May I know what prevention I can take to avoid it in future.

Avoid spicy food,cola,coffee,smoking,alcohol. Take fresh fruits, take ant acids(digene) gel or tablet 2-3 times a day. Take tablet ranitidine 150 mg twice a day.

Take a glass of warm water and steep a green tea bag into it. Remove the tea bag and pour the contents into the tray. Place the tray into freezer and allow it to form ice cubes take one ice-cube and rub all over the face. Just note before rubbing the ice cubes steam your face so that the pores get open and the goodness of green tea enter the pores. Do it twice a day in the morning when you get up and before going to sleep.

Migraine pain at times very disturbing and painful. You may take lemonade one glass daily in morning empty stomach. Take spigellia 200 and glonine 200 4 pills from each medicine at a time 2-3 times daily alternately. Maintain a gap of half an hour between meals and medicine.

Take phytolacca berry tablets (wsi), 2 tablets with warm water, three times a day, half an hour before meals. 2. fatoline drops from Haslab, 15 drops + 1/2 cup of warm water, twice a day. 3. Take 1 glass of luke warm water with lemon juice and honey in the morning for 15 days in a month. 4.Take 1 cup of green tea in the evening daily. 5. Do Surya Namaskar , yoga asans like Bhujangasana (Cobra Pose), Sarvangasana (Shoulder Stand Pose),Vajrasana (Diamond Pose), Pavanamuktasana (Wind-Relieving Pose), Matsyasana (Fish Pose) 6. avoid sweets, oily, spicy, junk food, chocolates. 7. drink plenty of water daily. 8.Eat good quantity of green vegetables, salad and fruits.
