I don't eat junk food. Normal home made food is my diet But still I feel bloated every time. I am gaining belly fat at a faster rate. I was in depression 6 months back but now I am fine. However I have become more negative towards anything. I want to get into shape and have proper mental health. I know exercise is an option. Have started but need to have more motivation. Any medication for bloated stomach and increasing belly fat.

For bloated stomach, check if some specific ingredient is causing it. Sometimes milk can cause this and hence its better to avoid. Observe for a week to see what food is causing this feeling. It can be some food intolerance. Also, bring in meditation into your routine and you will start making the wisest choices.

Hello, please increase your intake of protein through sources such as pulses, milk, curd, paneer, lassi, ghee, eggs, chicken, fish etc. This will help in healthy muscle building. Also incorporate some muscle building workouts.

You can opt to take good amount of milk and milk products, green leafy vegetables, pulses sprouts etc. However, would request you to see your doctor and take a dose of Vitamin B12 as natural sources are very limited.

Fat around abdomen can increase the risk of diabetes or cardio vascular disorders. Hence its very important to bring it down at the earliest. As step 1, have dinner at least 3 hours before you sleep. And avoid rice in the night. Secondly, incorporate 45 minutes of abs/tummy exercises regularly. Finally, drink at least 3 liters of water daily without fail. Its all about overall health and no short term strategies.

Yes Kiwi is good during winter. All fruits that are rich in vitamin C such as oranges, sweet lime, kiwi, grapes, strawberries are good to improve immunity. Other fruits such as apple, banana also can be taken.

Hello Mr. lybrate-user, kindly begin with incorporating 45 minutes of walking or some exercise because its important to burn calories along with other healthy eating strategies. With regards to diet, begin with the focus on clean eating by removing all packed, processed or fried foods. Instead replace with fresh fruits and vegetables, dry fruits, nuts etc. Include protein rich foods such as sprouts, pulses, paneer, curd, dals, eggs etc. Cut down on the carbohydrate intake such as rice. Along with these changes include at least 3 liters of water per day. Practice to eat an early dinner and preferably with more vegetables. Avoid sugar or additional salt. Incorporate all these for at least 3 weeks to see some improvement and then you can revert in case of any questions. All the best!

How to identify protein deficiency. Is it ok to take protein powder daily morning. Will it increase weight. Currently m living alone from a long time, food taken are either from mess or restaurant. Feeling tired all the time sometime even in morning after waking up. Is it ok to consume protein shake in morning. I don't want to increase weight. Plse advise.

Hello, Please do not opt for any protein shake etc. Incorporate natural protein rich foods such as sprouts, nuts, curd, milk, eggs etc. Also, incorporate fruits daily - at least 2 fruits per day. This is very important to boost energy levels. Snack on some nuts and dry fruits regularly. Also, do not forget to drink at least 3 liters of water daily so that the body can be cleansed regularly thereby keeping you energized. All the best!

Hello, please focus on long term healthy eating habits. Cut down all sugar, fried, junk and processed foods. Snack only on fruits, nuts, vegetables, curd or buttermilk etc. Always eat a good breakfast, a lunch with less rice and more dal and vegetables and early and light dinner. Drink at least 3 liters of water daily as this will cleanse and flush out toxins allowing you to lose more weight. Bring in 45-60 minutes of exercise regularly each day. All the best.
