1. Regular knee quadriceps exercises (static and knee bending). 2. Ice pack application will help 3.Medications like Cartigen DN and Enzomac forte will help. 4. Intraarticular injections offer great help. Local ice packs are the best alternative to traditional pain killers. You can take tab. Ultracet twice daily if you want. Get yourself evaluated for osteoporosis and hypovitaminosis D and Thyroid issues. These are also potential pain generators.

Hi Doctor, I am diagnosed as hypothyroid since april 2016. I am taking thyropace from april 2016. But from past week nerve shivering started at right foot, it appeared for around 5 secs several times in a day. Then I started taking neugaba (B12 supplements) one at morning another at night including thyropace at afternoon. Day after next day nerve shivering started in the ring finger, again its same like shivers for 5 sec and stops. The next day I observed shivering in the left middle finger. And it is continuing from past 2 days. And now I am feeling like energy less, can not able to stand for some time. Some times feels like light hearted. I would like to know what might be the problem?

You need to check your thyroid function tests again to see the current status .Abnormal feeling excessive heat or cold (shivering) are common features of malfunctioning thyroid gland. You need to control it by suitable drugs after finding out the cause/type of thyroid dysfunction .Doing S.B12, VIT -D, S.ca, CBC may help you diagnosing your correct nutritional status.

Insomnia - Know Its Homeopathic Treatment!

Insomnia is a mental condition, which is characterized by a difficulty in falling asleep, even when you have the chance to do so. The causes of insomnia include stress, emotional or physical discomfort; environmental factors like noise, light or extreme temperature that interferes with sleep; and depression or anxiety.

The visible symptoms of insomnia are inability to fall asleep no matter what, irritability, depression, lack of concentration and enthusiasm, and distressed stomach and intestine. Complications associated with insomnia can cause psychiatric problems, obesity, increased risk of long-term diseases or conditions like high blood pressure, heart disease and diabetes.

Insomnia can be classified in the following ways -

  1. Secondary insomnia: it stands for sleep problems that may be caused by health conditions, medications, pain or any other causes.
  2. Acute insomnia: it is also known as short-term insomnia and usually lasts for a night or a few weeks.
  3. Primary insomnia: it refers to sleep problems which aren't directly related with any health condition.
  4. Chronic insomnia: insomnia is described as long-term or chronic if you suffer from it for about 3 nights a week for 1 month or longer.

Homeopathy is a boon towards treating insomnia.

  1. Efficiency - The efficiency of homeopathic medicines in curing the several problems associated with insomnia is unquestionable. Plus, targets at providing long-term cure for insomnia instead of just temporary relief. The approach that homeopathy adopts includes getting at the root cause of the problem, and weeding it out so that there's never a relapse of your condition.
  2. Safety - Homeopathic medication are far safer therefore, it is preferable and highly recommended. It serves invaluably during insomnia and does not involve any side effects.

Hi, The condition which is old as 4-5 years. Cannot be treated in one prescription. She will need proper treatment at least for 2-3 months. For complete cure. So it is not possible to suggest the whole treatment here. My suggestion is to consult for homoeopathic treatment. If you can. Till then give her. Cuprum Met 30 one dose.

For good sleep, just try out these simple ways - 1. Stick to a sleep schedule- Go to bed and get up at the same time every day. Try to limit the difference in your sleep schedule on weeknights and weekends to no more than one hour. Being consistent reinforces your body's sleep-wake cycle. If you don't fall asleep within about 20 minutes, leave your bedroom and do something relaxing. Read or listen to soothing music. Go back to bed when you're tired. Repeat as needed. 2. Pay attention to what you eat and drink - Don't go to bed hungry or stuffed. In particular, avoid heavy or large meals within a couple of hours of bedtime. Your discomfort might keep you up. Nicotine, caffeine and alcohol deserve caution, too. 3. Create a restful environment - Avoid prolonged use of light-emitting screens just before bedtime. Consider using room-darkening shades, earplugs, a fan or other devices to create an environment that suits your needs. Doing calming activities before bedtime, such as taking a bath or using relaxation techniques, might promote better sleep. 4. Limit daytime naps - Long daytime naps can interfere with nighttime sleep. If you choose to nap, limit yourself to up to 30 minutes and avoid doing so late in the day. 5. Include physical activity in your daily routine - Regular physical activity can promote better sleep 6. Manage worries - Try to resolve your worries or concerns before bedtime. Stress management might help. Start with the basics, such as getting organized, setting priorities and delegating tasks. Meditation also can ease anxiety. Identifying and treating any underlying causes can help you get the better sleep you deserve. If above things doesn't help you, then consult us for homeopathic medicines CAUSES OF LOSS OF SLEEP - There are many causes like - Nasal or sinus allergies, Gastrointestinal problems such as reflux. Endocrine problems such as hyperthyroidism, stress, Arthritis, Asthma. ,Neurological conditions, Chronic pain, Low back pain, etc and many other causes.
