Hi, Stammering is a disorder which can be overcome. As it is not a disease there is no any actual medicine which can cure stammering. By seeking help of a professional "speech Language Pathologist" (SLP), you can overcome the problem. Doctor, I'm 23 and a student. The problem that I'm facing is regarding slurred speech. It's as if I'm not being able to speak properly. This issue has been persisting since a very long time and its that I'm not being able to get over it. I've tried a lot but in vain. I'm presently on Arip MT 5 which I take in the morning along with Attentrol 25. And I have Rexipra 20 at night. I just need to get my confidence back which I've lost due to this speaking problem and wish to get it resolved as soon as possible. It would be of great help if you could help me overcome this.

Hi Thank you for the question. You have hearing loss which could be of 3 types such as conductive hearing loss (middle ear problem), sesorineural hearing loss (inner ear problem) and mixed hearing loss (middle and inner ear problem). There are various reason which will lead to ringing sensation in the ear which is known as ?Tinnitus. Most of the time ringing sensation will go off with the medication. In your case if you have sensorineural hearing loss, with the use of digital hearing aid it will help you in hearing better and gradually the ringing sound will reduced. You have to undergo audiological test. Regards Surender Gupta Audiologist and Speech Language Pathologist

Hi, Thank you for the question. You have not mentioned why did you undergo for surgery for your left ear. I hope you had middle ear infection (ear discharge, ear pain, reduced hearing, ringing sound, ear blocked, etc.) for which you might have undergone surgery. If middle ear infection is present in your right ear too then depend on the severity you might have to undergo surgery. Kindly visit to a professional "Audiologist" for further detail Audiological evaluation (hearing testing). Depend on your current audiological report Audiologist would recommend you to go for digital hearing aid or surgery. Regard Surender Gupta Audiologist and Speech Language Pathologist
