Homoeopathic Medicines For Toothache

Homoeopathic Medicines For Toothache

A toothache is usually a sign of inflammation in the nerve root – the result of decay, tooth trauma, or gum disease. If you have a continuous toothache that prevents sleep, or a tooth that is very sensitive to heat, cold, or sweet things, see your dentist as soon as possible. In the meantime, try one of these remedies to ease the pain, but be sure to follow up with a dental exam:

1. Belladonna: helps throbbing pain that is worse from touch or motion (e. G. Chewing) and worse at night. The mouth may be dry. The person may be irritable, excitable, and feverish with a flushed, hot face.

2. Chamomilla: helps the toothache that is worse from any warmth (whether taking warm food or drink in the mouth or upon entering a warm room) but not better with cold. The pain in unbearable, may radiate to the ears, and is worse at night. The person is irritable and oversensitive.

3. Coffea cruda: helps pain that is worse from heat and relieved by holding ice or cold water in the mouth. The person may be extremely excitable and hypersensitive.

4. Hepar sulph: can help with an abscessed tooth as well. The tooth is hypersensitive to touch, and the pain is worse from the least draft of air and worse from cold. The person is irritable

5. Hypericum: can help in any condition where a nerve has been injured. Pains are excessive and sharp, shooting, tearing, or drawing. Tingling, burning, and numbness may also be present. This remedy can be used for pain and sensitivity after root canals or other procedures that impact the nerve or nerve tubules.

6. Magnedia phosphoric: helps pain that is worse from cold, better from warmth and warm fluids, and better from pressure; the shooting pains may feel like electric shocks

7. Mercurius: may help a toothache from an abscess or decaying teeth. The pains are tearing, shooting, and often extending to the ears. They are worse at night and worse from eating or drinking anything hot or cold. The person may have bad breath or a metallic taste in the mouth with excessive salivation.

8. Plantago: can help a toothache that is hypersensitive to the lease touch, worse from cold air, and worse from both cold and warm drinks. The cheek may swell, the tooth may feel too long, and the person may have excessive salivation. Rubbing plantago tincture directly on the affected tooth may also give relief.

My left side first premolar teeth has broken due to an accident. I want bridge teeth implant Type treatment. How much cost it would be taken.

Hi. The treatment would depend upon the condition of the fractured tooth. If it’s slightly broken with no pain and tenderness then it can be built by a tooth coloured material known as composite. If it’s more and tooth is having pain and tender ness then the tooth will go for RCT.(Root Canal treatment). An x-ray of the tooth will show the condition of the root .If it’s normal then only RCT is to be done .If the root is fractured then you have to think of the removal of the tooth with a single tooth implant. There is no such thing as bridge teeth implant. After tooth removal you will have 2 options either you can go for a bridge or an implant. A bridge would take support of the adjacent teeth and is cheaper compared to an implant. Cost of implant varies between 18-25 thousand.

Considering your history it is clear that your teeth needs a professional cleaning by a dentist. Every person who has teeth must get it cleaned (scaling and polishing) at specific intervals (3 months, 6 months, yearly) according to their oral hygiene status irrespective to use of tobacco products.

15 days back I got my root canal done in left corner teeth and filling in the lower area and also the crown done. But now again I started having pain in left side both upper and lower area. I visited to doc and he has given me augmentin antibiotic and said if this is not going to help then will remove the teeth. I want to ask here whether removal could’t be done at first time only if the teeth was in such a bad condition?

Removal could be done at first place but that is not the first preference of an expert dentist. Extraction is the last option. Unfortunately, RCT fails in some cases and yes, there are dentists who performs RCT even though they know that tooth can not be saved by any means, for money they disrespect our profession.

Better to take an x ray first to ensure dat broken teeth pieces are not left inside. Den we may proceed for fixation of new teeth. If any side ward tooth is hving crack or broken den root canal may be required.

I have slightly elevated front teeth (entire set is outwardish) I want to push them back if possible, without going for any invasive procedures. Are braces a good option? Also, considering my age (30), what should I do about it? Would want to go with the least awkward looking and value for money option. Many thanks.

I had my braces 25 day's ago can I eat biscuits and cakes please help me out thank you.

Mds
Dentist,
I had my braces 25 day's ago can I eat biscuits and cakes please help me out thank you.
Yes, you can eat all soft foods that require minimal chewing like cakes but more importantly you should keep your teeth clean by brushing and flossing to prevent build-up of plaque and decay. Not only can failing to do so harm your teeth and gums but it can also cause discolouration that can lasts long.
