This can be because of some unhygienic eating habits or eating outside eatables which are not properly kept clean he might be having some stomach infection just watch for any more signs of vomiting severe abdominal pain and blood in stools if the child is having only pain in abdomen just you can give syrup Rantac and a tablet of Gelusil and wait for a day.

If your baby is having only cough then you should not worry but if your baby is having fever some difficulty in respiration irritability and if baby is not feeling properly then you should directly go to a pediatrician because in a baby of 6 month old age it is very difficult to tell whether baby is having simple cold and cough or having early pneumonia if your babies playing feeling well having normal day to day activities then you should wait for 2 or 3 days and no much medicines are required you can continue with this medicine for one or two days if baby is fine.

If mother milk is not enough for baby feeding then what amount of lactogen or nan pro milk should be given to baby?

MBBS, Diploma in Child Health (DCH)
Pediatrician, Aurangabad
If mother milk is not enough for baby feeding then what amount of lactogen or nan pro milk should be given to baby?
Most of the time the mother will have adequate milk for her baby Till the age of 6 to 7 months. But if the mother feels that she is not having proper milk you should actually keep the weight chart of your child in the child. If gaining proper weight per month then you should not worry but if the child is not gaining proper weight you should start with top milk in the form of lactogen 1 or 2 according to the age of the baby you can also start with Nan 1. Mix 1 spoon which is available with the Powder in the packet with 30 ml of boiled and clean water make the feed and give your baby as much as possible sometimes a bigger baby more than 3 months can take 100 to 150 ml at a time so that calculate that much amount and feed your baby with the top milk when the baby will be started with the feed baby herself is stop feeding this is a signal for the mother to stop feeding and you should not worry for simple things.

If the baby is of 6 months we should start with food supplements like Cerelac or farex stage 1 with your normal homemade food also secondly used should start with some multivitamin drops then iron preparations and Vitamin D drops Till the age of 1 year as your baby grows about 6 months slowly go on increasing her homemade food from liquids to semi solid to solid and at the age of 1 year your way we should eat what you are eating at home.

8 kg for 15 months is certainly ellora side of weight but what was your child birth weight that is important also it is very important whether your child has suffered from any major illness by gastroenterology he is infancy period as you told that your child is eating almonds and cashews that is good for health you can give her eggs dal containing more protein cereals non veg (if you are eating that) dates and sprouted cereal give her lot of cheese and protein containing powder in milk you can provide her some appetizers which will increase her appetite.

The changing colour of your baby maybe because of hereditary or some hormonal changes but most of times there is change in colour of baby because of maturation of skin and increase thickness of the skin if the child is otherwise normal don't worry.
