Keep your leg raised while sitting or lying quadriceps strengthening exercises hamstring stretching calf muscles stretching contrast bath.

I am 57 years old lady ,I have sever knee pain since 2 years , I am depressed also due to pain ,what to do.

Advice. Avoid sitting cross legged. Avoid squatting- quadriceps exercises- lie straight, make a towel role and put it under the knee, press the keen against the role, hold it for 20 secs. Repeat 20 times twice a day. This will help relieve some pain. Core strengthening exercise- straight leg raised with toes turned outward, repeat 10 times, twice a day. Hams stretching- lie straight, take the leg up, pull the feet towards yourself, with a elastic tube or normal belt. Repeat 10 times, twice a day. Sports taping- stretch the tape from both ends and apply on the affected area contrast fomentation (hot and cold).

Hi lybrate-user based on the information provided it seems you got a postural neck pain. Steps to correct the neck pain. 1. Apply ice over the painful area up to 5 mins in a circular manner with the help of an ice cube. 2. Immediately apply hot water bag for 10 mins. Pain symptoms should decrease immedately. 3. Once pain decreases follow proper posture means neck should be straight while doing work. Get posture chart via text consulatation. 4. Selective exercises for neck muscles. Dear Lybrate user over weight also leads to knee pain. Climbing stairs may also be reason. Massage with Bala taila daily about 15mnts. Take dashamularista 25 ml with equal warm water 2tms. You need complete knee rest.

Hello, What's your age? Are you cycling recently or has been long time? As those people who ride cycle for the past many years usually doesn't experience pain until some problem is there! Medication: Mag. Phos. 6x/ tds for 1 week. Revert back with much information.

I suggest you to consult with a Physiotherapist. Use a spike chappal daily at your home. Do some stretches and exercises for your Calf muscle and Hams. Use a Heel Cushion while you're walking. Roll a hard ball under your heel. Take a bucket of hot water and do Hot Compression.
