hi, I am both a registered dietitian and a doctor who will help you in losing your weight as well as solve your other health problems through a dietary therapy. Let me know your food intake details. The best diet is one which is healthy and well balanced with foods from all the food groups, and one which is varied and that you can stick to weight loss on some diets can be dramatic in the short term, but there's more of a chance of rebound weight gain. Set yourself a realistic target and aim to lose between (0.5-1.0kg) a week I being a registered dietitian strongly accommodate the patients own preferences without the patient feeling that they are on a diet not compromising the weight management goals. Don't fall for self dieting or fad diets availiable online they have harmful effects in the long run, if you lose a lot of weight very quickly, you may not lose as much fat as you would with a more modest rate of weight loss. Instead, you might lose water weight or even lean muscle tissue, since it's hard to burn that many fat calories in a short period. I will need to carry out detailed assessment in your case, after assessing your personal challenges to weight loss, I will recommend a strategy to gradually change habits and attitudes that have sabotaged your past efforts. Also the overall objective should not be to drastically reduce weight but doing it gradually and help rebuild body tissues and to maintain ideal body weight. I being a both a registered dietitian (rd) and doctor have been successfully helping patients with their problems through a holistic approach using customized therapeutic diet and medications. The best way to get a flat stomach is to try high intensity cardio. This is because it burns a larger number of calories than low intensity cardio. HI…1) avoid oily, spicy, junk, fermented and stale foods, 2) sleep upto 10-10.30 pm, 3) avoid coffee and tea, A) Eat 30-40 black currants and 1 tsf of jiggery during meals, B) Take 200 ml of fresh butter milk with pinch of saindhav lavan after meals, C) take 30 ml of aamla juice along with 15 ml of honey in morning on empty stomach, D) take fresh juice of beet or pomegranate in morning instead of breakfast, E) do yoga and anuloma-viloma pranayam regularly for 20-30 minutes do all these things for 15 days…gives you good result…THANKS.

70-75kgs is your ideal body weight. Medicine available in gym are not good. We never recommend any medicines. You can loose it by drinking plenty of water and liquids- coconut water, lemon water. Take more of fibre rich fruits and vegetables. Take short meals at frequent intervals.

Hi. My I am 26 year old female, weight 69 Kg, and height is 160 cm. I am doing exercise daily from past 3 months and maintaining diet also but still I am unable to lose weight. I have also done Thyroid test, result was negative and my periods are also regular. I got response from Dr. Avdhesh Gupta to Reduce sugar and fat in diet have fibre and protein rich diet. Can you please advice protein rich diet and I hardly have sugar.

All depends as per your fat mass and muscles ratio of the body. you need to check what is the ratio of the body. according to that only you should go further. as well you can check your body constitution too ( vaat/pit/ Kapha). and than as per the deficit we can plan what will suit you.

Exercise is a extremely important part to loose weight fast. Try the remedies below they can help u. 1. Mix three teaspoons of lemon juice, one teaspoon of honey, in one glass of water. 2. Drink it in the morning on an empty stomach. 3 drink mint tea or make a paste of green mint with some simple spices and eat during meals. 4. Eat vegetables such as bitter gourd and drumsticks to control obesity. 5. Do bhujang asana, dhanurasana, naukasana, kumbhakasana, pavanamukthasana daily 10 min per asana. 6. Do running early morning daily and join aerobics in evening. 7. Avoid oily and fried foods, processed foods, fatty foods like butter, purified butter, cheese, whole-milk yogurt, cream, chocolate, etc. 8. Replace refined flour with whole-wheat flour and rice with brown rice or parboiled rice. 9. Stop sugar intake and drink 3 lts of water daily. And try to take light diet at night.

Being a dietitian my views: there is no single diet chart for everyone. To plan a specific diet we do collect lot of information like height, weight, food frequency, digestive history, medical history, likes, dislike, lifestyle, eating habits. Remember one thing to follow a diet it should be personalized according to person's body type and not generalized. Starting with there is no pills or powder or shake which can help you to lose weight in a healthy way. To lose weight eat an hour within walking up and dinner at least 2 hours before you sleep. Avoiding eating anything after dinner. Breakfast should be your king size have good complex carbohydrates and protein rich. Eat every 2 hours small frequent meal do help in weight loss. And do not overeat. One can come to ideal body weight with few lifestyle modification. Have green tea only 2 cups a day. For exercise I would say diet plays 80 % role and exercise plays 20 % role in losing weight. Personal advise on gym. You should not make your body habituated with machines rather do simple walk or surya namaskar or planks. So only with healthy eating one can lose weight.

I Need to reduce weight. I'm not a guy who run behind supplements, work outs and gym din help me because i'm not regular as I have to travel 4 hrs a day for office, so suggest any supplement that is suggestible for all body types and no side effects.

Eat small but frequent meals. Avoid long gaps in between meals. Avoid junk as far as possible. Exercise at whenever possible. Lastly be committed. Remember it's a lifestyle change and not a one time thing. It's a balanced intake that will last you longer. All the so called diets and medications will only give you muscle and bone loss. The fats will remain as it is. So, try to first follow this seemingly simple tips. I am sure it will at least help you with initial fat loss.

Dear user, it seems that your physical activity has gone down n you r nt eating right at regular intervals. Go for walk daily avoid fried foods junk food and processed food should be avoided say no to colas n packaged juices sweets to b avoided increase veggies n fruits for individualized diet plan you can consult me.
