Hai Mr. Lybrate-user, this is most common problem of most of the women. Don't worry. Your wife requires dietary fat restrictions as other doctor mentioned and also abdominal exercises to reduce tummy fat. You can taken help of a trainer/physiotherapist/ internet for abdominal exercises. Tell her to do these exercises regularly and stick to fat restricted food.

Hi, I have a problem of loosing weight quite often. Even if I miss my single day meal. I tend to start loosing weight that too muscle mass. Which resulted a very lean lower body. You r healthy with no medical illness. And if your body type is not genetic (like your parents), then you hv to increase your appetite (paachan shakti/agni) once your agni is increased with the help of ayurvedic medicine such as chitrakadi vati 2 - 2 - 2 then you can start eating high calorie nutritious diet including ghee butter paneer dry fruits carbohydrates etc eat you meals on regular times hv proper sleep. If you are suffering from gas or indigestion then you have to take treatment first to normalise your digestion power then only you can proceed with above given diet schedule.

1. Mix three teaspoons of lemon juice, one teaspoon of honey, and one-half teaspoon of black pepper powder in one glass of water. 2. Drink it in the morning on an empty stomach. 3. Do this daily for at least three months. 4. Drink mint tea or make a paste of green mint with some simple spices and eat during meals. 5. Eat vegetables such as bitter gourd and drumsticks to control obesity. 6. Do Bhujang asana , Dhanurasana ,Naukasana, Kumbhakasana , Pavanamukthasana daily 10 min per asana.

You can follow some tips in daily routine. 1. After every meal, drink 1 cup boiling water with spoon sip by sip. After half an hour you have taken meal do this daily. 2. Try to avoid eating heavy food after 7 pm. As it takes time to digest heavy food. 3. Drink 1 glass water half an hour before meal. 4. Try to do some exercise. Yoga and meditation are very good in losing weight and maintaining it also. Yoga asanas you can do - manduk asana - sarwang asana - setubal asana - pawan mukht asana pranayama -anulom vilom -deep breathing - kapal bhati other exercises -crunches -cycling -leg rotation

It is not good to have so much weight in the body as it can cause a lot of health issues. But you can always reduce it by eating clean and exercising well. Reducing body fats takes some time and there are no quick fixes. To maintain a low body fat and/or lower body fat: 1.Exercise at least 5 times per week 2.Eat whole/unprocessed foods at regular intervals, while being aware of physical hunger/fullness cues 3.Sleep 7-9 hours per night 4.Don’t engage in extreme diets 5.Stay consistent with your habits 6.Incorporate non-exercise physical activity 7.Ignore food advertising You need a fat loss diet which comprises of whole grains like jowar, bajra, wheat, brown rice, pulses like moong, musoor, bengal gram, lots of vegetables, fruits, eggs, fish, chicken, paneer, healthy oil, nuts and seeds. You need to eat them in right proportion. Avoid eating sugar and sweets, refined foods like maida, noodles pasta, White rice and products, bread. Drink a lot of water.

First you should follow low calories food for weight loss. * in morning, take 1-2 chapattis with a bowl of cooked green vegetables. You can take a glass of lemon water with it *in lunch you can take a bowl of raw vegetables like carrot, radish, tomatoes, turnip or beetroot. *in evening, you can take a cup of green tea only with some pieces of friuts like apple, pineapple, pear. Avoid taking banana or mango. *in dinner, you can take vegetable soup or a bowl of cooked vegetables. But do not take potato, sweet potatoes. * you can take a cup skimmed milk 4 times a week only during day time. * work out for atleast 1 hour in morning, you can try skipping for 15 minutes with a walk of 30 minutes and 5-10 minutes running. Follow these exercises in the morning - * lie down on flat surface, raise your legs without bending your knees, do it for 3-5 times daily * do not eat fastfoods and soft drinks, as they have high calories and the calories deposit in body in the form of weight if not utilised. * you can take medohar guggalu 1 tablet daily for quick weight loss but only under the guidance of ayurveda expert.

Yes the reports are normal. You may be suffering from pcod. Get an ultrasound of abdomen done. Also check your blood sugar levels and lipids. Revert back with all the reports asap.

Hi lybrate-user acc to your height your weight should be 50 kgs you are 10 kgs overweight. Start walking. Take study breaks and be more active during that time, in between studies do jumping jacks for 5 mins. Chose healthy foods from hostel menu, keep fruits and vegetables for salad in your room- eat that when hungry have atleast 3ltrs water/day.

To gain weight, eat at regular fixed time. Secondly, make a combination of dates (khajoor)+ amla+ pomegranate+ dry grapes (kishmish) -2 tsp two times a day. You can add a little sugar if needed increase intake of soyabean in your diet make a milk - warm milk 1glass+ 2 tsp ashwagandha powder+sugar. Drink at night after dinner daily. Do these for 1-2 months.

Kadukkai is a very useful herb and is used to treat excessive urination, wounds, cough, jaundice, excessive thirst, impotency, liver diseases, leucorrhea, excessive bleeding, piles (haemorrhoids), stomach ache, indigestion, mouth ulcers etc. It does not cause any disorder so far as I know.

You should go for 45 minutes brisk walk in the morning. Do regular exercise atleast 15 minutes. Take lukewarm water with lemon. Take sprouts, fruits and vegetables. Eat salad before meals. Drink more water in a day. Don't take rice at night. Avoid junk food and oily food. Take frequent meals instead of 3 big meals.

Let me know your food intake details. The best diet is one which is healthy and well balanced with foods from all the food groups, and one which is varied and that you can stick to weight loss on some diets can be dramatic in the short term, but there's more of a chance of rebound weight gain. Set yourself a realistic target and aim to lose between (0.5-1.0kg) a week I strongly accommodate the patient's own preferences without the patient feeling that they are on a diet not compromising the weight management goals. Don't fall for self dieting or fad diets available online they have harmful effects in the long run, if you lose a lot of weight very quickly, you may not lose as much fat as you would with a more modest rate of weight loss. Instead, you might lose water weight or even lean muscle tissue, since it's hard to burn that many fat calories in a short period. After assessing your personal challenges to weight loss, one can recommend a strategy to gradually change habits and attitudes that have sabotaged your past efforts. Also the overall objective should not be to drastically reduce weight but doing it gradually and help rebuild body tissues and to maintain ideal body weight.

To reduce extra body fat do regular exercise like push ups, plank, yoga etc. Eat small amount of food frequently. Do not skip meals. Take 5-6 times small amount of food. Take unrefined foods. Use watery vegetables, fruits. Extra protein like fish, egg, lean meat etc will help you. Use lukewarm water. Drink plenty of water specially before meals.

Eat small amount of foods.Avoid fast foods,junk foods,processed foods.No sugar,sweetened juice.Eat lots of whole fruits,watery vegetables.Take unrefined foods but not more.Take extra protein to loss weight.Use healthy fats small amount.Avoid smoking,alcohol.Drink lots of water specially before meals.Drink lukewarm water after meals.Take lukewarm water with lemon juice on an empty stomach in the morning and do exercise like swimming,skipping,push ups,sit ups,yoga,plank,squats.These will be very much helpful.

A) take 30 ml of fresh lemon juice and ginger juice along with 30 ml of honey along with water early in the morning on empty stomach b) eat 1 tsf of ajova seeds along with 1 tsf of jiggery after meals c) do regularly vajrasana, sinhasan and pavanmuktasan regularly early in the morning on empty stomach for 15 minute.
