It's the 10th to 18th day from the first day of menstruation is usually considered as unsafe period in a regular cycle and there is more chance to get pregnancy. As per the information provided by you, on last day of the menstrual period ovum is not available for fertilization so you don't need to worry about pregnancy. And the reason for irregular period is multifactorial, maybe due to stress, anxiety of pregnancy, anemia and some medication like I pill or unwanted 72 etc. So if you are positive that the unprotected sexual intercourse has taken place in unsafe period, you need to do pregnancy test. Stay relaxed and take food rich in iron. Consult physician if the problem still persists. Contact if need further assistance.

Please note the following in respect to your queries: there can be many reasons behind your hair fall - like mental worries, nutritional deficiency, hereditary and anemia. Take homeopathic medicine acid phos 200 (5 drops in little water) one dose and revert after 2 weeks. Apply jaborandi hair oil. Drink 8-10 glasses of water daily. Eat healthy and balanced food like pulses, green leafy vegetables, fresh fruits and nuts etc. Add more vitamin rich food to your diet. Avoid stress and anger by meditation. Cut down the use of hair spray, hair gel. Take sound/good sleep. Avoid too much exposure of your hair to sunlight/ hair styling tools, as they damage hair and cause split ends.

There are little blackheads on my face. On cheeks and nose. And its not going. I am worried if it doesn't turn into a big pimple. How to remove it?

First, understand exactly what blackheads are, so you don't damage your skin by trying to scrub them away. "Blackheads are just an oxidized mix of oil and dead skin cells that are sitting in pores. The exposure to air is what causes them to oxidize and turn black. The best way to break down oil in clogged pores is by using beta-hydroxy acid (salicylic) or combination peels containing salicylic acid. It is lipophilic (attracted to fat/oils) and concentrates at the surface of the pore to dissolve the plugs. Consistent use will prevent the blackheads before they form and help clear existing pores. Additionally, glycolic acid, an alpha hydroxy acid which is derived from sugar cane, helps clear dead skin and debris on the surface. These two work well in tandem. It can be found in over-the-counter products. Ideally, you should use a leave-on product rather than a cleanser or soap. Here 's how to decide which one is best for you salicylic or glycolic: If your skin is otherwise clear but you've been putting up with stubborn blackheads on your nose for years, have anti aging concerns or just want to improve your skin's look - try Glycolic Acid. If you suffer from acne too - Salicylic Acid is best for you. Since blackheads are caused by open, clogged, pores reacting to oxygen, it only makes sense that "shrinking" your pores down will help. Lemon juice is just the astringent substance needed to get the job done, however, it can lighten skin temporarily and it does make you sensitive to the sun, so load up on sunscreen if you plan on using this method. If you have sensitive skin, try diluting the lemon juice with water first. You can consult me online for further tips for skin care treatment and medicines. Your feedback matters. Thank-you.

Please try Homeopathy which can bring bring back the balance in a natural way without any side-effects. You can contact me for a detailed consultation. Till then, maintain good hygiene and drink enough water (drink 8-10 glasses of water every day ). Have fruits and vegetables every day (2-3 servings of each ). Do not pinch the pimples as it can get infected. Use a simple mild soap and wash frequently with cold water.

What are the symptoms of ebola and what are the steps should be taken to avoid it?

PDDM, MHA, MBBS
General Physician, Nashik
What are the symptoms of ebola and what are the steps should be taken to avoid it?
Over time, symptoms become increasingly severe and may include: nausea and vomiting. Diarrhea (may be bloody) red eyes. Raised rash. Chest pain and cough. Stomach pain. Severe weight loss. Bleeding, usually from the eyes, and bruising (people near death may bleed from other orifices, such as ears, nose and rectum) avoid areas of known outbreaks. Before traveling to africa, find out about current epidemics by checking the centers for disease control and prevention website. Wash your hands frequently. As with other infectious diseases, one of the most important preventive measures is frequent hand-washing. Use soap and water, or use alcohol-based hand rubs containing at least 60 percent alcohol when soap and water aren't available. Avoid bush meat. In developing countries, avoid buying or eating the wild animals, including nonhuman primates, sold in local markets. Avoid contact with infected people. In particular, caregivers should avoid contact with the person's body fluids and tissues, including blood, semen, vaginal secretions and saliva. People with ebola or marburg are most contagious in the later stages of the disease.
