I HAVE DEVELOPED SEVERE PAIN IN MY BOTH KNEES,from last Oct 2014 onwards,In touch with HOD of St Stephan hospital Delhi -110006 & HOD of Indian spinal Injury hospitals Vasant Vihar New Delhi , as I got operated by both Drs. for Spinal problem at L4- L5 , for Nerve Decompression on 3rd Jan 2013 & 26th Aug 2013 again at ISI .Had enough medicines prescribed by Drs.Was undergoing already Physio Threrepy by qulalified Dr regaularly thrice a week since June 2014, Adv. Nephrosyn 500 mg twice daily ,without any releif.Dr says Inflamtion of Left Knee, however practically left crippled now - cannot stand for 3-5 minutes, even difficulty in lying on bed , evn slightest movement / change in posture while sitting or lying on bed results into crying as pain becomes unbearable . Even last evening Dr asked to take additionally ULTRACET ,tab twice,till physically examination on Wednesday Now , over & above ths Knee pain , it also severly results in pain in LHS leg ,lower half- below & above knee, near ankle areas, upper back of thigh ,the thin line of thigh adj leg, also pains .Local application of pain killers like Volini ointment / spray - even patches with Hifenec - medicine , gave no relief. I suspect this pain , other then knees to be outcome of Decompression of nerve / side effect / damage ,that took place to me in Sep/ Oct 2012 & was operated in Jan & Aug 2013 . This Pain also appears to be resulting into / causing NUMBNESS , in these areas , Latest Knee X-ray says Normal wear & tear apperanig / taking place. No Panic button pressed by Drs after seeing X-ray s/ clinically - both ways Kindly suggest , some medicine / Exercise / procedure , for relief , if possible pl

You might be suffering from fibromyalgia. Fibromyalgia is characterised by generalised body pain with flu like symptoms. It is common in females of middle age group. Trigger points are present in body of such patients. Other features are inadequate sleep, weakness of body, decreased appetite. Diagnosis is made by excluding other diseases. Nothing much can be done. Response to chemotherapy depends on a nos of factors like type of tumour, stage, grade, hormone receptors present and inherent patient response. I would advice her to do as the Oncologist advices.

If this has been a pattern for a long time I suggest that you meet with a counselor and with your parents. Your parents will be able to throw some light on where this anger is likely to come from. None of the feelings are to be controlled. The way you express them has to be appropriate. Now anger is pure energy and people mistakenly think that they must express anger violently, or aggressively, or they can damage something, or throw a fit, or kill, or hurt, or withdraw, etc. These expressions can be followed, if they are appropriate to the situation. You can instead simply talk about the feeling, write about it and share it with someone who understands; scream and shout in a situation which warrants it and so on. When the expression is most suitable, the repercussions are minimized and the other person tends to understand and is willing to apologize and sort out the matter. Many of us are inclined to worry about the consequences of expressing anger and use fear to suppress the legitimate expression. You can exorcise your anger out of your system by exercising, but it is the energy that is expended not the feeling. Unexpressed feelings will hurt you back by clinging on to a favorite organ and troubling it enough to cause it to malfunction or lead to its total dysfunction. You can also hand over the feeling to God, if you are a spiritual person, and very effectively too. All feelings must be expressed without exception.

If you are working out in the gym then 3 days of weight training and 3 days of cardio. The workout is generally progressive in 3 stages..beginners, intermediate and advance. You must do your cardio max for 30 to 45 min. and weight training depending on your intensity it can go from 1 hour to 1 n 1/2 hour. Whey protein powders are very beneficial as it is a fast absorbed protein and if taken after a training session, it helps in muscle recovery and hence building up muscles. Along with this you have to eat clean. No junk food. Your diet should comprise of whole grains like jowar, bajra, wheat, brown rice, pulses like moong, musoor, bengal gram, lots of vegetables, fruits, eggs, fish, chicken, paneer, whey protein powder healthy oil, nuts and seeds. You need to eat them in right proportion. Avoid eating sugar and sweets, refined foods like maida, noodles pasta, bread. Drink a lot of water.

Lybrate-user, hypothyroidism causes irregularity of menstrual periods. But if is well controlled, then all the symptoms disappear including menstrual irregularities. To achieve good control tsh levels should be between 3 to 4 milli units when on treatment. Further, if conception is desired then tsh levels have to be brought down to 2 to 3 milli units/ml. Otherwise conception may not occur, if occurs, fetal development may be affected and pregnancy outcome may not be good. So please see that tsh levels are brought down to 2 to 3 milli units even before you conceive. If you have any doubts please come back. Best of luck.

Hello, you should try the below to get a good height. Exercise like stretching swimming regularly yoga like Tadasan and Sarvang asana. play Basket ball regularly. Take proper balanced nutritios and protein rich diet. *Mix two tablespoons of ashwagandha powder in a glass of warm cow’s milk. 1. Add sugar or jaggery according to your taste and mix well. 2. Dear Follow these best tips to lightens and remove the dark spots- 1. Take fuller, s earth (multani mitti) and sandalwood powder (chandan powder) mixed in same quantity mixed in water and apply on the mark in night and wash it after 1 hour. It will slowly removes the spots. 2. Take a piece of aloe vera. Apply gel of leaves on mark daily. Wash it after 30 minutes. 3. Crush one tomato and apply the paste on mark. It will remove the spots definitly. 4.Soak cotton gauze in rose water and clean the dark spots 2-3 times daily. 4. Take carotene rich vegetable suchas carrots, beetroot and fruits- mango, pineapple, strawberry regularly. You can consult me privately for your doubts and detailed treatment.

For diabetes follow a diet low in carbohydrate, low in fat and high in fibre. Avoid bakery products. Avoid too much rice and potato. Avoid fried stuff. Avoid chocolate, cakes, ice cream, soft drinks and fruit juices. Eat lots of vegetables. Walk for at least 30 minutes a day for 5 days in a week. Medicine and insulin will work better if you follow diet and exercise. Medicine will depend on your blood reports.

Dear lybrate user, as you are on dialysis, I think you are suffering from loss of appetite also. You must take three four small meals small in an day. Increase your calories in a day. You must not take fatty food. You can take banana shake daily with boiled eggs in the morning. Salad fruits fibre food you can take. Roasted channa or soaked black channa you may also take.

Eyes water because , while driving the rate at which the eye dries up increases , hence of rate of secretion of tears also goes up. since we are not driving at a constant speed there is a mismatch between the tear secretion and eyes drying up . our body always tries to over perform. this over secreted tears is too much to handle by the normal tear route from the eyes to the nose. hence the excess tears overflow leading to watering.So it is a normal process.Dont worry about this.Your eyes are normal.

Dear, you can easily get fitness and health by following simple and very important tips: * take a diet rich with proteins carbs, vitamins and fats. In morning, take a glass of milk added with 2 teaspoons of protein powder with breakfast. In lunch time, take 1 bowl of curd or 100 gm of cheese, a bowl of vegetable, with chapattis. In evening, take 1 glass of milk (300 ml) with fruits. In night, take a bowl of careals (daal, a bowl of salad with chapattis. * in morning, get up early and take awalk for 10-15 minutes and exercise light weight exercises for at least 30 minutes at home or gym. * for proper fitness, proper sleep is very important. So you should sleep for 6-8 hours daily. * avoid soft drinks, western fast food (burgers, french fries, pizza etc. They disturb your digestion. * do meditation daily to calm down your stress level. Do pranayam daily. You can take long and deep breaths atleast for 10 minutes in calm and peaceful environment. * avoid smoking & alcohol drinking completly. * for fastly increase in stamina, take 1/2 teaspoon of ashwagandha powder daily once a day.
