I am 34 years old and in last 4 months, I had 4 gout attack (Dec 24, Feb 8, Mar 1) on my right leg toe. Since last one month (Mar 5) I am taking Allopurinol 100mg as prescribed by my doctor for 3 months (daily 1 tablet). After starting this tablet around Mar 14th again I got Gout attack. Its already 20 days over, but that bulges on the toe has not gone completely it has reduced a bit not going completely. And because of this I am not able to walk fast or jog, can?t even wear shoe because it pains. Did 2 blood test once in Dec and then in Mar in both Uric Acid level is normal. Since Jan I have controlled by food habits as well no red meat, no shell fishes no alcohol, no soda based drinks, regularly drinking 3 litres of water. Need your suggestion how to reduce the swelling caused by this gout attack and to avoid in future so I can run and wear show freely. Thanks in advance.
