I have high platelet count of 475600/c.mm and my rdw-cv is 15%. Max range mentioned in report is 450000/c.mm. Is it a sign of some disease or any thing serious? Rest all haemogram test results are in normal range. What could be the reason for this and what can be the normal treatment for the same?

Moderate elevation in platelet count beyond normal limits isn't a cause of concern. Unless you experience symptoms like pain in the legs while walking or dark colour of fingertips or nose tip, there isn't a cause of concern. To be sure, you can have a coagulation profile done and if the results are normal, there is absolutely no need to worry.
