.i am 21 years old male. I have regular routine and have average physical activity daily. Recently from last one month I feel pain in my left side of chest. The pain feels like a sharp point like pain. Usually it occurs when I sleep flat or when I lean/bend forward. The pain usually is relieved when I stand erect or sit straight. The pain is usually when I take deep breaths while sitting or exhale fully while sleeping. Along with pain in chest I have pain on upper back on both the sides of spinal chord near the bones on back. I visited general physician who called it costochondritis. I wanna make sure if I need to worry about it or consult other physician.
