I have a keloid scar in left upper arm from 2.5 years due to an accident. Please tell me sir subcutaneously dexamethasone injection would be helpful or not? And what about the side effect?

No. Intralesional injection of Triamcinalone acetate may help. But it is advisable to use it for 3 to 6 times only. It helps to reduce the size of the lesion.

Keloids can be treated with local traimcenolone injection and not dexamethasone. Single modality does not work so be under the guidance of a plastic surgeon and they can help you best.
