Hello- it depends upon the habits in which family you are born. Elders (father/big brother) in some families teach their kids to place a penis on downward position, while others teach to put upwards. This position affects curvature during the erection. The slight curvature in any of the above condition is normal and do not affect your sexual potency. However, if the penis has a considerable amount of curve then it should be treated properly to avoid complications.
