Hi doctor, I'm 18 years old. And had an unexpected intercourse with my boyfriend. Within 72 hours I took an ipill. My periods last month started on the 17th of December and stopped on 23rd. We had an intercourse on 28th of December. On 30th I took an ipill (before 72 hours). And today after exactly 7 days, of taking the ipill I've experienced stomach cramps and a light spotting. I'm unable to understand what this is. Could you please help me understand?

ipill or unwanted tablet are meant for emergency only. can't be taken routinely it has serious side effects like irregular periods because it's loaded with hormones which can lead to complications you're suffering from side effects and you should not take more hormones to regularize cycle wait for the next cycle
