About Rebotin 2mg Tablet
Rebotin 2mg Tablet is a newer tricyclic antidepressant (TCAs) drug that predominantly inhibit norepinephrine reuptake into the presynaptic neuron, & indicated for depression primarily.Rebotin 2mg Tablet should be used with caution in: those under 18 years of age, the elderly, patients with heart disease or epilepsy, those with poor liver or kidney function, previous or current mental diseases such as mania or psychoses, increased pressure in the eye (known as narrow-angle glaucoma), and those who have problems urinating or with an enlarged prostates.It should not be used in: allergy to reboxetine or any other ingredient in the medicines, patients who are taking a drug called a monoamine oxidase inhibitor (MAOI) within 14 days
Rebotin 2mg Tablet appears to produce fewer side effects and may be safer in overdose than the older TCAs; usual side effects are as follows:
- dry mouth,
- Urinary retention,
- Insomnia,
- Constipation,
- Sexual distress.
This medication should not be used if you have certain medical conditions.
