Benefits of yoga for pimples

Pimples are one of the most common problems of the skin. Formation of pimples on the skin occurs when the congested system and hormonal changes increase the functioning of the oil-producing glands of the skin. Stress is another factor which leads to the formation of pimples. Usually, people try several beauty products but they are not successful in eliminating the problem of pimples. For such people, yoga offers the best solution for alleviating the problem of pimples in a natural way. Yoga helps in improving the digestive system of a person as better digestion leads to healthy skin. Yoga provides assistance in removing all the toxins from the body so the skin can feel fresh and rejuvenated. There are asanas in yoga which stimulate the blood circulation on the face, head, and neck so that all the impurities from the blood a

Kapal Bhati

It is a simple breathing exercise that can be performed by people of all ages. Sit cross legged so that your ankles rest on the thighs of the other leg. Make sure that your spine is straight. Now breathe in slowly and breathe out forcefully in such a manner that your stomach goes inside. Repeat this exercise 30-40 times, which will rejuvenate your skin cells and leave you without pimples.

Mountain Pose

Stand straight with your legs a couple of inches apart. Raise your hands over your head and stretch as far as possible. Rest the entire weight of your body on the toes while in this stance. Hold for some time and repeat the procedure. This pose helps with muscle flexibility and also keeps the skin of the entire body taut, preventing wrinkles and pimples.

Fish Pose

Sit with your knees bend in such a way that your buttocks rest on your ankles. Place your hands on your hips for support and bend your upper body backwards in this pose. Place the elbows on the ground, so that your spine forms an arch and the top of your head touches the ground. This pose is designed to reverse the blood flow in the body and rejuvenate the skin.

Headstand

Start this exercise in the table top position. Now lace the fingers of both hands together and place it just in front of your shoulders, on the ground. Now place your head on the ground, so that it is supported by your interlaced hands. Straighter the knees and slowly raise your legs up from the ground, one at a time. Try to keep the knees straight, to maintain the balance. Hold the posture for a few seconds and then lower one leg at a time. This yoga pose not only helps the body stay in shape, but also regulates the blood circulation to the skin.

In addition to yoga consuming a healthy and nutritious diet is necessary. There are certain food products which when to the diet help in alleviating the problem of pimples. Before adding certain food products to the diet a person must learn about some food products which must be completely cut down to obtain a pimple free skin. Foods with high glycemic value, foods containing excess sugar, food cooked in excess oil, and fast food should be eliminated from the diet completely. There have been several studies which indicate that consuming food rich in zinc mineral reduces the chances of pimple thus oysters can be added to the diet. Incorporating probiotic in the diet through yogurt is an excellent idea as they have an amazing quality of reducing inflammation. Green leafy vegetables when added to diet remove toxins from the skin. Fruits which have beta-carotene must be added to the diet reduces the oil content of the skin. Incorporating food rich in omega-3 fatty acids like flax seeds help in restricting the formation of pimples in the future. An affirmative result can be observed in the treatment of pimples if yoga complimented with a healthy diet.
