You can get back if you consume health food But as diabetes is a metabolic disorder exercise is most important Weight reduction is not a problem Just concentrate on diabetes management You can take protein supplements to increase weight like d protein powder.

For diabetes follow a diet low in carbohydrate, low in fat and high in fibre. Avoid bakery products. Avoid too much rice and potato. Avoid fried stuff. Avoid chocolate, cakes, ice cream, soft drinks and fruit juices. Eat lots of vegetables. Walk for at least 30 minutes a day for 5 days in a week. Medicine will depend upon your blood sugar report.

Mr. Lybrate-user, to say diabetes is under control - fasting should be closer to 100 mg, pp should be 150 to 160 mg and hba1c<6.8. If you have maintained this then it is good. If not then that is the main contributor for ed. Secondly you have to completely stop tobacco, there is no alternative. Because nicotine is harmful to coronary arteries as well as other blood vessels especially in diabetes.

coffee is worst for diabetics

coffee is worst for diabetics
coffee is worst for diabetics:

Blended coffees

Blended coffees that are laced with syrup, sugar, whipped cream, and other toppings can have as many calories and fat grams as a milkshake, making them a poor choice for those with diabetes. A 16-ounce frappuccino at starbucks, for instance, can contain 500 calories, 98 grams of carbs, and 9 grams of fat. You may consider a treat such as this" just coffee" but the blended versions can send blood glucose soaring.

Have this instead: ask for the smaller, 12-oz light or non-fat versions, which range from 60 to 200 calories, making it a much lower-calorie, lower-sugar substitute" the lighter version won't drive blood sugars sky high, especially if you take a walk afterward" ideally, black coffee is best.

Conservative measures to decrease straining and constipation in hemorrhoids/piles many patients see improvement or complete reduction of many symptoms with conservative measures which can be tried at home. Warm baths bathing in tubs with warm water alleviates pain and severity of piles. Ice can also relieve the pain of acute thrombosis. The sitz bath can be tried for symptom relief. Sitz bath is done by sitting in a bowl of warm water to which salt is added. It is usually done for about 20 to 30 minutes twice or thrice a day. High fiber diet a high fiber diet includes more than 25 g of fiber per day. Many hemorrhoidal symptoms reduce when dietary changes are made. Addition of fiber supplements to already existing diet is a good plan. Toilet habit retraining and stool softeners patients should sit on the toilet seat only for the time required to evacuate the lower bowels. Persistent straining or prolonged sitting can lead to increased size of hemorrhoids. Stool softeners can be taken to soften stools if there is hard stools which can cause undue straining while going to toilet. Topical agents topical ointments and creams can be used to decrease itching and inflammation. Topical hydrocortisone can reduce some symptoms of piles but prolonged use is not recommended. Adequate water intake. Patients suffering from hemorrhoids should take adequate amounts of water which can ease the passage of stools.

An insulinoma causes the pancreas to release too much insulin, which causes blood sugar levels to drop (hypoglycemia). A person with an insulinoma will have a high level of C-peptide in the blood when they have a high level of insulin.

Mr. Lybrate-user, is this the fasting blood glucose (fbs) levels? if fbs is >126 mg/100 ml, then it is diabetes. But if it is after food level then it is fine. 95 mg is within normal range. Looking at weight and height, you are having grade 2 obeseity with a bmi of 35.98 kgs/m2, this can be the major contributor for increased blood glucose. Leaving only sugar intake is just one small aspect, but over all food intake impacts blood glucose. Mainly carbohydrates - roti, chapati, rice, all other cereals, banana, potato, various bakery items, maida and items made out of that. These contribute to blood sugar. So just stopping intake of sugar is not much of help. Thanks.
