Ideal time to take is early morning in an empty stomach. Take it with warm water for better results. And take regularly for couple of months 2 -3 months.

Dryness is caused by the cold atomospheric weather around just rub some cold cream on your face after washing your face with water don't use very harsh soaps on the face

FACTS ON TEA -DAILY REFRESHING DRINK

When we speak of tea, it is commonly assumed to be black tea with milk and sugar. However, the word ‘Tea’ means any herb. This means even hot Tulsi water is Tulsi tea or hot mint water is Mint tea. Many herbs can be converted into tea such as jasmine tea, lemon tea, lemon grass tea, masala tea, sounf tea etc.

When the decoction of the leaves and the water is reduced to 50% on boiling, it is called Kadha. Black tea without milk and sugar is much healthier than black tea with milk and sugar.

Classical tea without sugar and milk has an astringent taste. But according to Ayurveda, this is good for health as it reduces Kapha imbalance. When sugar and milk is added, both of which have sweet taste, they neutralize the weight reducing and kapha–relieving properties of the black tea. Therefore, milk or sugar should not be added to tea. For the purpose of taste, one can add Gur or jaggery or artificial plant sweetener Stevia.

Black tea is also a mild diuretic and increases urination as it contains caffeine, which is also a stimulant. This is the reason why tea is used to remain awake. In this regard, coffee is stronger than tea. When taken in moderation, black tea is good for the heart and general health. If one has to choose tea then jasmine, lemon and lemongrass teas are better.

In Ayurveda, different teas have been prescribed for different personalities. Therefore, you can get vata–pacifying tea, pitta–pacifying tea and kapha–pacifying tea.

Hello maintain hygiene, take steam inhalation 4-5 times a day, gargle with luke warm water with a pinch of salt 4 times a day, ginger tea is soothing, rest, proper hydration and nutrition (4-5 ltres water a day) consult a physician for medications.

Hye. Thanks for the query. Late night shifts affect not only weight but energy levels too. The odd timings are a stress on the body and if not managed right can lead to many lifestyle disorders. Avoid stimulants, such as caffeine and nicotine, before bedtime. If you're working nights and need to sleep from morning until afternoon, you might try to avoid caffeine after midnight. · To get uninterrupted sleep, when you do sleep. · Take a short nap before your shift. Napping for up to 30 minutes just before work or on a break may increase alertness and enhance your performance. · Stick to the routine. Go to sleep as soon as you can after work. · Avoid the use of sleep aids. Make healthy lifestyle choices: · Eat a healthy diet and include physical activity in your daily routine. · To maintain a nourishing diet, it’s vital to adjust your meal routine around your schedule. · If exercise seems to energize you, plan to work out after you wake up rather than before you go to sleep. · Resist the temptation to use tea, coffee, junk food or nicotine to stay awake or alcohol to get to sleep. · Do not skip meals. · To avoid taking in empty calories from vending machines or fast food, plan ahead. It is easy to eat to pass the time, but you’ll gain weight this way. Bring a healthy meal with you to work. · If your job is majorly desk-based, your metabolism may slow down during those long periods of inactivity, and you may find few opportunities for exercise. Use whatever free time you do have during the day for active pursuits. Set aside part of your lunchtime for some form of exercise. On other days of the week, try to do at least a 20-minute brisk walk. · If you work at your desk for most of the day and have a predictable work routine, you may become bored and use food as a diversion. Take regular breaks from sitting at your desk to stretch your muscles and refocus your eyes from the computer screen or paperwork. This will relieve boredom and distract you from cravings for unhealthy snacks. · Snacking often in between work is normally on junk or sweets which can quickly add calories. Try to stock up on healthy snacks, dairy, nuts etc. · Don’t eat a huge meal right at the end of your shift. It will just lead to trouble digesting as well as disrupted sleep. · Drink plenty of water throughout your shift. · Take foods rich in complex carbohydrates which provide energy over a long period of time rather than quick sugar bursts that won't last too long. · Include protein rich foods to help repair you’re worn out muscles. · It is important to avoid fatty and greasy food at night, and control the intake of spicy food. · Eat a big meal at the start of your work schedule, and a moderate meal around midnight. · Before going to bed in the morning, you can eat a regular breakfast meal in a small quantity.

Go on a less fat diet especially if you are having post operative diarrhea. This can be done by restricting oils, butter, cheese, ghee, etc. Buffalo milk should be substituted by skimmed cow milk which contains lesser fat. Avoid spicy food. Go on frequent small feeds rather than single large meal. Have more of fruits and carbohydrates like rice, wheat in moderate quantities.

This condition is called rhinititis medicamentosa, is dangerous. As over use of otrivin causes high blood pressure. You should immediately stop otrivin and see ent doctor.

1. Black coffee for weight loss If you are looking to lose weight, then you should definitely have black coffee as it has comparatively lower calories than coffee with milk and sugar. A cup of black coffee has just 4.7 calories while a cuppa prepared with milk and sugar has 56.6 calories. 2. Coffee with milk and sugar after evening Black coffee will energize you and give you more mental clarity than normal coffee as there is no milk or cream to slow down it’s effects. So drinking it after evening might keep you wide awake until late into the night which will disrupt your circadian rhythm. Taking the extra 50 calories instead would be healthier. If you already have issues with sleep, then don’t have coffee at all after sunset. Here are some tips to sleep like a baby. Alternatively, if you have something important to do and are feeling sleepy, then you should go for a black coffee. 3. Coffee with milk and sugar if you have acidity In case you have aciditiy, you should avoid having coffee (especially black coffee) as it has a very high pH. Also, having concentrated coffee can increase the concentration of acid in your urine. So make sure you have enough water or foods like cucumber to neutralize its effect.

Dear lybrate user, increasing weight does not mean that you will go fatty. In fact, extra fat serves as a precursor of many diseases. In order to increase your weight as well as stay healthy you have to increase the muscle mass of your body. Normally a muscle undergoes an increase in size when it gets hypertrophied due to weight training. Weight-training leads to the pumping of blood to the muscle resulting in increased protein synthesis in the muscles. This applies to every muscles of human body. So, weight training is a must to increase weight. Whenever a muscle gets hypertrophied it demands protein to expand. Here comes the need of protein supplement. The most effective protein supplement is whey protein. For quicker & better results take 40 grams of whey just after waking from sleep at morning. Take another 20 grams of whey just 30 minutes before workout. Again take 40 grams of whey just after you have finished your workout. Kindly remember gaining weight is a time -taking process. So do not expect any result within fortnight.

I improving your diet and lifestyle is the best way to lose weight. Make small target of losing 2-4 kg per month. Eat breakfast as soon as you wake up. Eat three fruits per day. Drink plenty of water. Eat high fiber vegetables and low fat protein sources. Walk for thirty min minimum daily.
