What kind of pain you feel ex.sharp shooting , and is it associated with the timing of day or with some work, it might be because of low calcium level, you need to focus on your diet and some streatching and strengthning of your leg and back muscles. Hi, male-pattern hair loss, also known as androgenic alopecia. Men typically present with hairline recession at the temples and vertex balding. So they can try homoeopathic medication that is based on constitution and work wonders. 1. Take acid phos. 200, 5 drops, morning empty stomach, once in week. 2. Wiesbaden 200, 5 drops, daily morning empty stomach. 3. Natrum mur 6x, 4-4 tabs once a day. 4. Apply arnica hair growth oil (b &t) on your hair and scalp, thrice in a week. 5. Wash hair with arnica montana herbal shampoo (sbl) 6. Drink minimum 10 glasses of water per day. 7. Take 10 ml amla juice mixed with half cup of water, at daily night.

Hi Sir, My brother had cough & fever from Sept-Nov 2015 he was on Antibiotics, Paracetamol and cough syrup for same time but didn't got any relief finally done Chest CT scan in Nov and found Pleural Effusion, pleural fluid aspirate done on 24th Nov but whole fluid didn't not aspirated because patient get vertigo problem during aspiration so doctor stop aspiration, from 24th Nov TB treatment started. He got mild relief from cough and fever But after 15-20 days he again faced severe cough and mild fever, again CT scan and Chest sonography done and found some pleural fluid. Again, pleural fluid aspiration done and TB treatment continue, from that day he started getting relief day by day. Now is feeling absolutely fine. TB treatment is continue from Nov till today. From April he started feeling Hip shoulder back knee and Feet pain, some blood test done and found Vitamin B12 & Vitamin D is very much deficient. Both vitamin B12 and D injections and capsules Tablets supplement started and got felling better but didn't get any relief in Feet pain. Since last 40 days he having pain, pin needles and burning sensation in both feet. As per doctor prescription all types pain killer reliever like Dynapar SR, Zobid Zerodol SP etc taken but till today didn't got any relief in feet pain, even pain killer didn't work for 1 hour. We took opinion from Orthopedic and Neuro Surgeon and done MRI of Spine and Feet, MRI is normal as per MRI report but Feet pain and burning is still persist Now we consult with Neurologist, he said it look that it's Neuropathy due to TB medicine Isonizad. He said to consult TB physician and stop taking Isonizad and he prescribed Tab Pregabalin, Zen 100, Ultracet and Deep Senz ointment. We again consult with our TB physician, he said TB drug Isonizad can't be withdrawal because if we stop it TB May relapse later. As per doctor TB treatment will continue for more 3 months i. E. Till the end August Feet pain burning pin needles sensation is still persist after 4-5 days treatment of Tab Pregabalin, Zen 100, Ultracet and Deep Senz ointment. Pain is severe that patient not getting any relief. So now we are very confused and can't understand what to do. Pls advise what to do to get relief from pain Thanks & regards.

Hello lybrate-user, I am giving few remidies for you to get rid of ankle pain and join pains. Please follow and get benefits. Suffering from ankle pain or Joint bone pain? Sometimes ankle pain may occur due to sprains that took place unknowingly. Ligaments that are attached to the ankle either tear partially, or fully rupture. The overall pain experienced depends on the severity of the injury, yet home remedies can reduce the amount of pain and discomfort you feel. Here are 5 home remedies for you to reduce pain and discomfort on your ankle: Icing your ankle may respond better to an alternating hot-and-cold therapy. Use two gel packs. One should apply heat for 20 minutes. Follow it with a cold pack for 20 minutes. Alternatively, you can prepare ice packs by filling a gallon-sized Ziploc with fresh ice. Apply the ice pack on your swelling ankle to reduce the amount of swelling will reduce your discomfort. Ensure that the ice rests directly on the swollen area. If the cold is too intense, place a small rag between the skin and the ice pack. Herbal Remedies Home remedies such as coconut and garlic oil help reduce pain and swelling when they soak directly into the skin. Mix 3 table spoon of coconut and garlic oil into a container and heat in the microwave for ten seconds, slightly warming the mixture. Generously massage the oil directly onto your ankle for ten minutes, allowing the oils to soak into your skin. Cabbage contains minerals and vitamins that are useful when ingested, as well as when they’re applied externally. Gather the outer layers, or leaves, of the cabbage plant. Blanch the leaves by boiling them in water and then immediately placing the leaves into a container of ice-cold water. Once the leaves have been blanched, wrap your entire foot and ankle, and allow them to rest for 30 minutes before removing. Dieting Changing your diet to relieve knee pain can be effective over a longer term. If you are heavy, you may experience poor circulation and heightened stress in the ankles and other weight-bearing joints. If you are overweight and suffer from frequent strains or bone degeneration, losing weight can permanently end your ankle pain. Adding a joint supplement to your diet, such as glucosamine or chondroitin, may also help some people by protecting the ankle joint and surrounding tissue. Exercises Exercise is an ongoing home treatment that will serve as pain relief and prevention. To prevent future ankle injuries, and to strengthen an ankle that is already injured, range-of-motion exercises and stretches provide the most benefit. Only stretch or exercise the ankle once the pain has subsided. Range-of-motion exercises will increase the flexibility of tendons and ligaments that have tightened during an injury. Trace the alphabet with your toes, moving the ankle as much as possible throughout. Repeat at least ten times per day to strengthen your ankle and improve your flexibility. While sitting on a chair, place the foot with the injured ankle flat on the floor. Slowly move your knee from side-to-side without lifting your foot off of the ground. Repeat this exercise at least ten times per day to enhance lateral movement. The pain level of these exercises should never move into moderate or severe levels. Experiencing a small amount of pain is common when beginning range-of-motion exercises, however, discontinue the exercise if the pain becomes severe.

I am a 28 yr old male, while exercising in oct' 2014, got shoulder pain which refused to go. Underwent various medical tests such as mri, vitamin d etc. The scans showed that I have a shoulder bursitis. Have been on medications since november 2014 and have undergone physiotherapy as well but to very little effect. The only choice as per doctors now is either steroid shots (which have its own set of pros and cons) or a shoulder endoscopy for correction of the problem. Any alternative way outs most welcome. Also would love to know about the pros and cons of the above mentioned methods. Thanks in advance

Have you undergone laser therapy. For shd pain? if not go for it, it may give you good effects.& some resistable conditions require steroid inj. Which symptoms provides you instant relief from pain for a few months to years. Depends on patient s body. In some 5 percent cases it may not give any relief from pain. Go for laser therapy & mwd (microwave diathermy ) first.

Hello, You have issues with your knees and lower back. Kindly tell me whether your pains are actually localized type of pains or radiating from lower back region? Also apart from pan, is there any s/s like numbness in legs, weakness in legs or paresthesias like electric shock like sensations etc ? There are various reasons for getting hair fall. Nutritional deficiency, stress, acute illness like malaria, typhoid, jaundice, chronic illness like diabetes, thyroid can trigger the hair fall, Smoking, excessive alcohol intake. Hair is made up of minerals, protein and iron. Any deficiency can lead to hair fall. Take Proteins are more in sprouts, beans, nuts, soya. Green, help to nourish the hair roots. Take lots of salads, diced fresh fruit, Green Leafy Vegetables like Spinach, Lettuce, Leafy Greens, Turnip Greens, Broccoli, Beans and Green Peppers, Almonds/4 Walnuts on alternate day’s and 2Dates/2Figs on also alternate day’s and 2 prunes daily. Avoid long standing tk physiotherapy treatment for both pain must seems pf in heel and if your movement is normal then strain in your shoulder otherwise a x-ray must.

I suggest to use kinesiology tape while you are playing cricket (bowling) so it will reduced the extra load on the muscles but k-tape is done only by physiotherapist so consult the sports physio for that near by your location.

Give pressure the dipping point on the portion between the thumb and the index finger on the back of the palm. Press and release for 15 times where the pain is more. This will solve the problem. Further do some wrist rotation exercise. Consult after 5 days. For further guidance and treatment.

Its due to weakness of muscle rake vit b12. Do strength exercise like quadriceps and squatting in regular rhythm for future for pain take muscle relaxant and stretching exercise also use hot pack if it work then ok otherwise for pain take physiotherapy treatment.

Frizzy Hair - How To Deal With It?

If you have curly hair, chances are frizz is your natural enemy. And if it is summer and the weather chooses to be humid, that is when everything goes for a toss. Static build-up in winters can also cause frizzy hair. Frizzy hair occurs due to raised hair cuticles, which allow moisture to traverse and enlarge the strands. This makes your hair look frizzy and dried, instead of defined and smooth. Usually, people with curly hair have more frizz problems than people with straight hair. Frizzy hair can occur due to many reasons, some of them include:

  1. Inadequate daily water consumption 
  2. Repeated chemical treatment of hair (Hair dyes, bleach, etc.)
  3. Using the wrong hair products
  4. Certain medications
  5. Wearing woollen clothes (Such as scarves or sweater which cause static)
  6. Improper haircare (For instance, you may be rubbing your hair too harshly as you dry it)
  7. Washing hair with extremely hot water
  8. Dry, cold winds
  9. Styling your hair with heated equipment

Recommended Treatment

Frizzy hair is a common problem during both monsoon and winter months.

1. The best way to deal with frizzy hair is to use a leave-in hair gel that has vitamins, minerals and proteins in it. The gel also contains other active ingredients such as hibiscus, saw palmetto and gingko biloba. The gel will moisturise the strands and lock the nourishment in. It will also form a protective barrier over the hair, so environmental factors (sun, rain, wind, etc.) cannot agitate the hair.

2. Frizzy hair is also treated by conditioners that are left in the hair for longer so they effectively moisturise each strand of hair.

3. Using hair brushes made from plastic or boar fibres can also reduce frizz.

4. Usually, frizz can lead to hair breakage. Thus it is important to use the correct shampoo for your hair type that has gentle cleansing and deep moisturising properties. Nourishing shampoos that contain hibiscus extracts and almond oil can be effective against hair breakage.

Hello, please send me your all investigation report to rule out her problem. These types of problems are may be due to overweight or deficiency of vitamin d3 and calcium or due to poor posture. Till then follow these advises:- 1. Take calcium supplements and sun bath daily to prevent further damage to your joints. 2. Avoid heavy lifting. 3. Avoid squatting and weight bearing activities. 4. Use western toilet. 5. Wear shock absorbing, good quality of shoes while walking. 6. Keep roll of a towel under your knees while sleeping. 7. Perform some gentle exercises and stretching of your all joints before getting out of your bed. 8. Walk straight with shoulder protracted. 9. Perform deep breathing exercises or yoga for proper functioning of lungs. I can explain you stiffness and pain reducing techniques, if interested. Wish you a happy and pain free life thanks.

Hair loss or Alopecia is an extremely emotionally distressing hair disorder. Hair loss can be of many types, the most common being androgenetic alopecia which refers to male pattern baldness or female pattern baldness. Natural remedies can significantly improve this hair disorder. Telogen effluvium is another hair disorder which appears as a diffuse thinning of hair on the scalp and is caused by a change in the number of hair follicles growing hair. This condition is totally reversible. Another common form of hair loss is the Alopecia areata (AA). It is an autoimmune disease in which the body’s immune system attacks the hair follicles. Other types of alopecia such as scarring alopecia can cause lot of damage and permanent hair loss. Again, congenital hypotrichosis is a hair disorder that involves genetic aberrations or defects of embryonic development. Causes of hair loss • Hormonal imbalance • Dandruff or lice • Problems with bowel movement • Certain drugs and chemicals • Anemia, weakness after diseases, stress and anxiety • Genetic aberrations Remedies for hair loss Most of the remedies for hair loss are applied to the hair, whereas others are for regular internal consumption that helps prevent hair loss. Certain precautions and lifestyle changes can also help prevent hair fall. Some of the natural remedies are listed here. Massages and application • Massage the head with hot olive oil for 15-20 minutes and then wash it off with shampoo. This can effectively reduce hair fall. • Apply a mixture of lemon juice and amla (Phyllanthus emblica) and wash it off after half an hour. This helps control dandruff. • Mix neem (Azadirachta indica) oil with coconut oil and massage the head for 15-20 minutes. Wash it off with shampoo. Alternatively, boil neem leaves in water for an hour and let it cool. Wash the hair with this water. This helps reduce hair fall. • Massage juice of fresh coriander onto the scalp to reduce hair loss. • Apply a well blended paste made from pigeon pea and red gram on the hair and scalp and leave it on for about half an hour. Wash it off. This remedy helps treat hair loss and baldness. • Add 1 gm of ground black pepper in 100 gm of curd/yogurt and apply to the scalp. Wash hair with warm water. Applying it once a week will stop further hair loss. Lifestyle changes • Stress and tension is known to cause hair loss. So, learn to relax. Try to reduce stress and tension in your life through yoga and meditation. • Diet and nutrition also plays an important role in hair growth and maintenance. Include plenty of fresh fruits and leafy vegetables in your diet. Pay special attention to your breakfast. • Conditioners can damage hair roots. Take care to apply conditioner (after shampooing) only on the hair and not to the scalp or hair roots. Herbal and Ayurvedic remedies for hair loss Ayurvedic treatment involves attacking the root cause of the disorder. It is believed that excess of Pitta dosha in the body is the main cause of hair disorders. Pitta is increased by excessive consumption of tea, coffee, alcohol, and excessive smoking. Oily, spicy, and acidic foods also tend to increase Pitta. So the first step is to change the diet or lifestyle conditions responsible for increasing Pitta dosha. Regular physical exercise and inclusion of fresh fruits and green vegetables in the diet is useful in correcting hair disorder. Irregular bowel movement and constipation can indirectly affect hair health. A mild laxative or Triphala (Ayurvedic preparation) can be useful in such cases. We are born with 5 million hair follicles of which only one million hair (shafts) show up on the head. Five million hair follicles is the maximum we can have because we do not generate new hair follicles during our lives. Drinking a mixture of lettuce juice and spinach juice regularly helps induce hair growth by stimulating the dormant hair follicles. Alfalfa juice, carrot juice, and lettuce juice mixed in equal proportion also serves the same purpose. Grind licorice in milk and apply the paste on the bald patches of the scalp. This helps induce hair growth. There is a special Ayurvedic treatment for hair loss and it is called ‘Thala podichil’. The treatment involves application of an herbal pack for 21 days. The herbal pack consists of just one herb or a mixture of herbs depending upon the constitution of the patient. An Ayurvedic remedy prepared from Bhringaraj herb (Eclipta alba), Amla (Phyllanthus emblica), corals, iron, and black sesame seeds is very beneficial for treating hair loss as well as graying of hair. Oil massage helps stop hair loss. Gently massage the scalp with coconut oil or mustard oil at least three times a week. Herbal massage oils such as Mahabhringaraj oil, Amla oil, or Arnica oil are also very useful in controlling hair fall. Since chemicals and certain drugs are responsible for causing hair loss, it is best to use natural shampoos or soaps to clean the hair. Here’s a home made recipe for shampoo – Soak dried fruits of Amla (Phyllanthus emblica), Reetha (Sapindus detergens), and Shikakai (Acacia concinna) overnight and boil the mixture in the morning. Allow it to cool before using it as natural shampoo. Yoga and meditation also help control hair fall by reducing stress and other hair loss causing conditions. Vajransana, Pawanmuktasana, the camel pose, are some of the important yogasanas that help tackle hair problems. Although there is no dearth of hair loss treatments available in the market, natural remedies for hair loss can be a feasible option if we consider the fact that it has no side effects, it is easily available, and it is relatively inexpensive.
