Hello. Take homoeopathic medicine - Schwabe's Alpha-Coff and Glyzyrrhiza Glabra 1x - both thrice a day daily for 4 days. Management: - Avoid cold drinks and fried food, take healthy food. -Avoid exposure to Air-conditioner or cold air (wrap a warm stole or muffler around neck). -Avoid excessive or rough use of your voice/ shouting. -Gargle with warm water and salt 3 times a day and take steam-inhalation once before going to bed.

I am experiencing severe cough and headache for a few days now. What should I do?
Hi, cold and flu brings along a dry hacking cough and headache. Measures: 1) drink warm fluids: an upper respiratory tract infection like a cold or flu causes postnasal drip. Extra secretions trickle down the back of your throat, irritating it and sometimes causing a cough. Drinking warm tea or soups, help thinning out the mucus and even helps in sinusitis. 2) steam inhalation and warm compresses locally to painful areas in head. 3) lozenges to soothen the cough reflex. 4) avoid dusty places and going out to crowded areas where there is pollution. 5) take adequate rest and cover warmly to protect yourself from cold wind. 6) avoid sour and cold food.

My father suffered from bone tv. He is not doing any activity since today morning. And now he is on ventilator. Dr. Is saying that bone tv bacteria has affected his brain. In this condition, what is the chances of my father's recovery?

MD Pediatrics
Pediatrician, Faridabad
What your doctor is suggesting is tubercular meningitis which cab be very serious disease in certain settings. As you have said he is on ventilator, it itself mean he is serious and is on life support system. In these type of situations, oucome is always guarded and nothing can promised for sure.

This information is not sufficient to differentiate between asthma & copd. Both have different treatment, you are taking a mixture of both treatments. Send your spirometry report and chest xray report so that I can help.
