Can you explain me when is safe period? N when it is highly risk to get pregnant?
Hello- If you are planning to have sex for the first time it is best you use a condom as the prefered method of contraception. That being said the eight to twenty first day of your menstrual cycle, counting from first day, is considered as the fertile period or the UNSAFE period. Days other than this are considered SAFE, that is, the 1st-7th day of the cycle and then again from the 22nd to the 28th day. But this may not exactly be correct for all women. It depends on the length of your menstrual cycle (it should be exactly a 28 day cycle or little less) and if you have a regular periods cycle. If the cycle is longer than 28 days that, this time frame isn’t reliable.

Hi. I have had itching in my penis head from the last two months. Sometimes the itching is very severe that I keep on squeezing the penis head. Its only in the head region mainly where the skin folds on the head. Now there is another problem. I had sex with my wife and she had severe itching on her vagina. Next day her vaginal lips were swollen and she couldn't even walk properly. We went to her gynae and she examined her and gave her some anti fungal medicines and a cream. She was fine after that. Also my itching was gone somehow. We again had sex after like 15 days and again she had the same problem. We went to the gynae again and she gave her medicines for herpes and a cream. She was again fine after 4-5 days. Then we again had sex after few days and oh my god again the same issue with her. We went to her gynae and she again gave her some medicines and this time I also went along with her and asked why it is happening again and again? She said it is some yeast infection and this time she prescribed me couple of medicines and a cream called Nadoxin to apply. Also we underwent some tests for HIV, HCL, Hepatitis, Blood Sugar etc. And our tests were normal. This issue of itching started after I made sexual contact with another women. It was unprotected sex. The itching on my penis started the very next day. And I am 99% sure that it is because of that. But I do not know what to do. Who to consult? And what tests I need to undergo? And if it is a Sexually transmitted disease or just a common bacterial or yeast infection? I do not have that much itching now but whenever I have sex with my wife her vagina lips swell. The whole area is red. She has severe itching. Some white fluid discharge is also there. please help. Suggest.

Hello, it looks like you ve contracted a sexually transmitted infection and unfortunately with some of these infections the women suffer more than the men! for no fault of theirs. The best thing for you wud be to consult a dermatologist as they cud examine you and give you a precise diagnosis. Coz until ithe diseaae is diagnosed and treated itz only gonna make things worse for your wife.

I am 23 year old male and my partner is 21 year old female. 20 days back we had sex for the first time in our lives. Though, I used protection still she went for those birth control pills. After some days she suffered from kidney swelling and was diagnosed well. We recently had sex again and she is insisting on those pills. Shall I allow her to take those again?

Contraceptive pills do not usually cause swelling on kidneys. However emergency contraceptive pills are known to cause pain in abdomen and irregular menstrual bleeds. So it is advisable to start any medications after consulting a gynaecologist only. To avoid conception/ pregnancy it is worthy to use a barrier contraceptive like condom.

The chance of conception by natural way is low. But advent of science and technology made it possible to become mother even at the age of 50 years.

How much calories required pregnant woman per day. Please shared the site chart also.
For the first six months of your pregnancy (firstand second trimesters), you won't need to have more calories than you did before you became pregnant. That's about 2,000 calories a day.  However, during the last three months of your pregnancy (third trimester), you will need an extra 200 calories a day, making a total of about 2,200 calories a day.  Bear in mind that we're all different shapes and sizes, and some of us are more active than others. So any recommendation about the amount of calories you need when you're pregnant is based on averages.  The number of calories you need while you are pregnant depends on:your heightyour body mass index (BMI)how active you arehow effectively you burn calories However, you may need to adjust your calorie intake if you are expecting twins or more, or if before you were pregnant:your BMI was 19 or under (underweight)your BMI was 25 or over (overweight) midwife will record your weight at your first antenatal appointment. She can also tell you what a healthy weight gain in pregnancy would mean for you.  To help you to get your calorie increase right in your third trimester, each of these healthy choices has about 200 calories:A small, toasted pitta, filled with a tablespoon of reduced-fat hummus and grated carrot, followed by three dried apricots.A small bowl of muesli with semi-skimmed milk, and an apple. Two slices of wholegrain bread, with a tablespoon of cottage cheese.A low-fat yoghurt with six almonds. Two slices of malt loaf, without spread. Being pregnant may sometimes make youcrave fatty and sugary food. You shouldn't go hungry, but try to get the balance right. Giving in to the odd packet of crisps is fine. The rest of the time, try to have healthy snacks between meals.  These tips will help you to feel full, while keeping your calorie count under control:Eat breakfast every day. If you feel sick in the morning, try nibbling dry toast or crackers when you wake up. Ask your partner to bring you something before you get out of bed, and then eat the rest of your breakfast later in the morning.Help to control your appetite by eating high-fibre foods, drinking plenty of water, andtaking regular exercise. Eat at least five portions of fruit and vegetables a day.Keep healthy foods to hand. A fruit bowl filled with apples, bananas, peaches, oranges and grapes makes it easy to grab a healthy snack. Also try smoothies, a handful of dried fruit, a low-fat yoghurt, or a plain fruit bun.Have a small amount of protein, such as lean chicken, with each meal. Balanced meals help you to feel fuller for longer.

Why Paneer Is Beneficial For Your Health?

MBBS, M.D ( ( Gen.Medicine)

Why Paneer Is Beneficial For Your Health?

Paneer, also known as cottage cheese, is a dairy product which is made by curdling the milk with the help of lemon or vinegar and then draining the liquid. Not only is it delicious and an integral part of some of the most popular dishes of Indian cuisine, it is also a very good source of calcium, protein and healthy fats that help in improving the functioning of the body.

Here are some of the surprising health benefits of this Indian dietary staple:

  1. Diabetes-friendly: The carbohydrate content is low in paneer, which makes it a very good option for diabetics. Consumption of paneer does not cause a surge in the blood sugar level as it is digested slowly by the body.
  2. Improves bone and teeth health: Protein is a good source of calcium and phosphorus that helps in improving the health of the teeth and bones in the body.
  3. Helps in weight lossCottage cheese is a great source of conjugated linoleic acid that helps in boosting the metabolism of the body, thus aiding weight loss. Plus, it lowers the risk of cancer by reducing the amount of bad cholesterol in the body.
  4. Contains high amounts of protein:  Enriched with vegetable protein, which is the basic building component of muscles and bones, paneer is known to keep your muscles and bones in good health. Besides, the protein in paneer is essential for brain development and the development of the fetus, making it another reason why it should be a part of your diet.
  5. Helps you fight bone disorders: Paneer is rich in Omega - 3 & 6 fatty acids, which helps you fight bone disorders such as arthritis
  6. Gives boost to your hair and skin: As it is rich in antioxidants, vitamins its consumption promotes good hair and skin health
  7. Boosts the immune system: Paneer contains compounds that help in strengthening the immune system, thereby preventing disorders like common cold, cough and bronchial asthma.

Note: One should be cautious for the high level of sodium and high level of cholesterol in cottage cheese made from whole milk.
