Hello, all vegetable are good sources of fibre, vitamin & minerals. *100-150gm of green vegetable contains=20-40 kcals. *50-70gm of root vegetables=50-60kcals (potato, carrot, arbi or colocasia, these veg should not consumed.) fruits are good source of dietary fibre, vitamins & minerals. A diabetic can have any 1 fruit exchange/day. It is better to have whole fruit rather than fruit juices. Fruits not consume or small portion consume (50-80gm) banana1/2, chikoo 1, pinapple1/2 cup, custurd apple 1/2, mango1/2, graps10-12 pc, litchi 5 pc, anar1/2 cup, jamun10-12pc.

Does high sugar levels in diabetes above 300
is dangerous for diabetes patients
who is having alcohol regularly.?
High sugar level is dangerous for all patients, because it affects large and small blood vessels, eyes, heart, kidneys and nerves. Can also lead to ulcers in foot etc. If diabetes is uncontrolled one is inviting all kinds of complications. Alcohol on top of it is further problem as it affects liver too.

Mr Md Shoyeb, A patient with diabetes should take a balanced but restricted diet, matching the caloric needs based on blood sugar levels, ideal body weight and extent of daily exercise. She should avoid sweets, deep fried foods, junk foods, pastries, red meat, egg yolk, high fat cheese. She should walk at least 1 hour a day. All these things should help in controlling diabetes.

I am 30 years old boy. My sugar level is fasting-220 and p.p-295. Pls suggest me diet chart and exercise.
Sugar levels should be 100 fasting and 140 pp. Your levels confirm diabetes. You need to visit a physician and take prescribed medications immediately. Also you need to go on low carb diet + weight reduction. Consult a dietitian for a detailed diet plan.
