It is important to know how to use an exercise bike the right way. If your posture is poor, you'll reduce your overall results and may even cause injury to your neck, back, knee and hips. Making right adjustments of your equipment will allow you to pedal fast, hard and without worrying about posture or too much pressure on joints. 1) Seat - you'll want a height in which your legs are slightly bent when pedaling. You never want your legs to be fully bent or fully straight. 2) Handlebars - if your static cycle offers handlebar adjustments then choose a position that enables your arms to be fully extended. 3) Feet - do not pedal with your toes. Use your complete foot. 4) Back Posture - your back should be straight. Donot bend forward to grab handlebars or pedal. If you do so, you are putting excess pressure on your back and neck. 5) Footwear - always wear good sport shoes/ sneakers when pedaling. Never opt for barefoot cycling. Follow the above rules while cycling and I ensure You will never bother your joints.

You need Moist Heat application around the Chest. It can be done by Hot Towel putting around chest or painful area. Repeat 3 - 4 times per day for 1- 2 wks.

Tips: Back exercises in 15 minutes a day. Knee-to-chest stretch. Lower back rotational stretch. Lower back flexibility exercise. Bridge exercise. Cat stretch. Seated lower back rotational stretch.

Joint Pains / Early morning pain It is called as Rheumatic arthritis. If your pain is more in the distal joints, ie. In the upper limbs if the pain is present in the fingers/wrist and in the lower limbs it the pain is present in the toes/ ankle, then we shall definitely say it is Rheumatic arthritis. Wear elbow brace and wrist brace which will make her to feel warm and that will make the joints become firm. Hot water fermentation will help Knee cap will also help to prevent the damaged cartilages. If your pain is more in the distal joints, ie. In the upper limbs if the pain is present in the fingers/wrist and in the lower limbs it the pain is present in the toes/ ankle, then we shall definitely say it is Rheumatic arthritis. Which joints you have pain? If your proximal joints (ie. Shoulder, hip & knee has pain) then you can pour hot (warm) water in that area to reduce the inflammation. If you have pain in the distal joints ie. Wrist, fingers, ankle, toes then you can wear either elbow brace or wrist brace which will help you to feel warm and very protective. And also immerse the distal joints in the hot water tub which will help you to reduce the pain. Consult the near by physiotherapy clinic and also consult a general physician to check with your ESR levels to check whether you have inflammation.

I have regular pain behind my neck near the backbone whenever I lower my head for long time.

1.Take crocin 500mg one tablet sos after food upto a maximum of 3 tablets daily 2.Apply volini gel twice daily 3.Give local warm compress locally 4. Chiropractic adjustment will help. Contrast Fomentation (Hot and Cold). Avoid Squatting- Avoid sitting Cross legged

Actually pain at calf/leg region can be due to many reasons, commonly it is muscular in nature but it can also be due to tendons, nerves, blood vessels etc. My advise to you for initial 2-3 weeks will be: - ice packs application intensively with elevation of your limbs at night - take a short course of anti-inflammatory medication as per your body's suitability - stop your physical activity till pain completely subsides - intensive physical therapy, training and proper muscle conditioning once pain has subsided - slow resumption of physical activities with proper pre activity warm up and stretching of muscles and short increments in duration of physical activity each day as per pain tolerance. - we will get some blood tests for you - serum vitamin d and serum potassium levels, esr and crp once you have all these reports then you can contact me as I can advise you for proper supplementation do not hesitate to contact me if you need any further assistance. Since you have already mentioned that you have neck pain with pain radiating to upper limb, you can start with tens as a physical therapy modality and tab gabapentin or tab pregabalin in small doses can be initiated along with b12 supplementation but your exact management depends upon your intensity of neck and upper limb pain, your neurological status, your investigation and prior treatment. Hi you need to get evaluated for both your knee pain and backpain. Simple analgesics like paracetamol should give you some relief till then.
