I got meniscus tore. Well an year back for the first time. I do met a doctor. He asked me to do some physical exercises at regular intervals. And again 2 months back I got meniscus tore again. 2nd time. Will it be a problem at future.

I am getting pain in my back near the end of the spinal cord. And what are the measures to avoid this?

Hi lybrate-user, have some hot water fermentation and apply pain relieving cream to come out of pain while sleeping have a pillow under your knee this will help tou in relieving your pain, once pain is released do back strengthening exercises.

Hi Doctor, I am 32 year female, I started doing walking while going and coming to office and generally wear heels, but now I am getting unbearable pain on my right leg under toe area and ankle, can you please advise what would be the problem for this pain.

Long walks with with high heel shoes can cause severe pain in foot & ankle. Pain in heels is a common condition rule out diabetes & vit. D deficiency or any other metabolic disorder. Do hot fomentation keep a pillow under the legs at night &/when resting. Any way take take multivitamins & other antioxidants along with. Ibuprofen 200mg od & sos x 5days you will need other supportive medicines also. Do ankle/foot & toe exercises it may have to be further investigated make sure you are not allergic to any of the medicines you are going to take. Do reply back for private consultation and detailed treatment plan.

Hello doctors, my left leg knee crackle every time whenever I bent it. Its very difficult for me to sit with bending knee. My right knee is gud no pain in it .but left knee gets pain whenever I bend it .it always gives crackle sound while bend it. Pls suggest me what should I do ?

Avoid sitting Cross legged. Avoid Squatting- Quadriceps Exercises- Lie straight, make a towel role and put it under the knee, press the keen against the role, hold it for 20 secs. Repeat 20 times twice a day. This will help relieve some pain. Core Strengthening Exercise- Straight Leg Raised With Toes Turned Outward, repeat 10 times, twice a day. Hams Stretching- lie straight, take the leg up, pull the feet towards yourself, with a elastic tube or normal belt. repeat 10 times, twice a day. Sports Taping- stretch the tape from both ends and apply on the affected area Contrast Fomentation (Hot and Cold).

Since last 10 years I have spine problem, and I have consulted many doctors but the conditions are still the same, now even to wake up in the morning I have to take a pain killer. Doing exercise regularly as stated by the physiotherapist but there is no improvement at all. Please show me some right way to come up from this pain.

Do back isometrics Apply hot fomentation Avoid those exercises which increase your pain Avoid long standing Avoid bending forward activities Take care of your posture- while sitting, sit straight & support your lower back with cushion/ thin pillow Avoid being in one position for long duration Avoid lifting heavy weight Take bath with warm water adding salt to it Before exercise apply hot pack & after exercise apply cold pack

Dear , can you please explain the nature of the pain. Is it in one particular knee joint or is it in both the knees. Considering her age it might be a beginning of osteoarthritis. Get an x ray done and start her calcium supplement along with some vitamin d. Please report with x ray.

I'm 25 year man. I have continues back pain when sleeping, sitting please suggest me the solution.

Kindly show me digital x rays of affected part. Rule out diabetes & vit. D deficiency or any other metabolic disorder. Sleep on a hard bed with soft bedding on it. Spring beds, folding beds or thick matress are harmful use no pillow under the head. Do hot fomantation. Ibuprofen 200mg od & sos x 5days bio d3 max 1tab od x10 do neck, back & general exercises. It may have to be further investigated. You will need other supportive medicines also. Make sure you are not allergic to any of the medicines you are going to take. Do reply back for detailed treatment plan. Do not ignore. It could be beginning of a serious problem.
