Dear Lybrate User , Increase testosterone may cause hair fall but this is not the only cause for any hair fall ,so we need to rule out all possible causes like iron deficiency , daily stressful routine , harsh chemical exposure of soap , shampoos , use of non medicated hair oil etc . So kindly share your daily routine with dietary habits so that I revert back to you for Ayurveda treatment assistant. Thanking You.

Hi! Hair fall, especially balding is a genetic condition, but can be exacerbated by excessive stress, poor blood circulation, poor diet, pregnancy (in the case of women), drug use, illness, thyroid issues, etc. You can consult on private chat with photographs to find out the cause of your hair loss, and treatment guideline accordingly.

I'm 36 years old male having boils/ infection on my neck area for the last 10 days. It's not subsiding and I believe it's increasing. I shave regularly given my work profile. I weight 70 kgs, i am healthy and exercise regularly. I know I don't drink as much water as I should (working on it). My food habits are controlled and I eat lot of proteins, fruits and veggies. I don't venture out too much in sun. In the last 1 year, I have lost over 25 kgs. For the last 2 months I do have serious constipation issue. Can you suggest a treatment and remedial action to be taken?

Hello there I understand your concern your boil/ infected area on the neck could be just because of bad skin hygiene caused by excessive sweat or undetected diabetes which causes carbuncles in the neck. Your rapid loss of weight too is astounding. Please get your sugar checked and meanwhile apply prickly heat powder on the neck and wear soft cotton shirts. Hope that will benefit you.

I have many pimples on my face I will use many types of cream and face washers for it but It will not stopped till.

BAMS

I have many pimples on my face I will use many types of cream and face washers for it but It will not stopped till.
These are the methods to treat fastly pimples: • Imbalance in hormone level causes excessive sebum production and causes acne. So do not take stress and do exercise daily such as running, jogging and long breathing exercises. • Do YOGASANA daily. Especially do SINHASANA & SARVANGASANA daily. • Use oil free face wash and drink 7 -8 glass of water daily. • Do not touch your pimple because your finger transfer bacteria to it and make it worse. If you touch it then clean your face with water. • Take cucumber and papaya pulp. Mix it well and add 1 tablespoon Turmeric. Make a paste and apply it on face and leave it for 15 minutes. • Steam your face to open the pores, which in turn clear the skin. Steam your face for a couple of minutes. • Take 2 teaspoon of RAKTASHODAK SYRUP of BAIDYANATH company once a day.

Hair loss is the reflection of disturbance in the body. Nutritional deficiency, stress, mal- absorption are few of the causative factors. It is important to understand the problem and then treat it. Hair is made up of minerals, protein and iron. Sprouts, beans, nuts, soya are excellent source of protein which are good for hair. Green leafy vegetables are good as a iron support. Drinking 3 lit of water will help to nourish roots. Oil the scalp 3/week and wash it 3/week. Consult trichologist.

Dear Lybrate User, Hair growth occurs in cycles. Each cycle consists of a long growing phase (anagen), a short transitional phase (catagen) and a short resting phase (telogen). At the end of the resting phase, the hair falls out (exogen) and a new hair starts growing in the follicle beginning the cycle again. Normally, about 40 hairs reach the end of their resting phase each day and fall out. When more than 100 hairs fall out per day, clinical hair loss may occur. Hair loss have many causes such as:- 1) Shrinkage of the hair follicles due to the influence of androgenic hormones. 2) Under-nutrition of the hair due to fungal infection on the scalp. 3) Effects of Radio therapy or Chemotherapy. 4) Nutritional deficiencies. 5) Autoimmune diseases. Modes of treatment for hairfall/alopecia includes surgical modes, oral medicine & local external application. The minimum duration of the course of oral medicines & external application is 6 months. You can start the following medications:- 1) Take 5 drops of Homeopathic SULPHUR 200, once in a week. 2) Take 5 drops of Homoeopathic SELENIUM 200 every morning before brushing your teeth. 3) Take 4 tablets from Biochemic NATRUM MUR 6X TABLETS, thrice daily. Just chew the tablets as those tablets are sweet in taste. 4) Take Homoeopathic Mother Tincture ACID PHOS Q, 30 drops, twice daily, after meals, in a cup of water. Kindly note that this medication may not be sufficient enough to take care of your problem. These medicines are based on the symptoms of your diseased condition & these medicines need to be complemented by further deep-acting remedies in order to permanently eliminate the underlying cause of the disease. So I would suggest you to consult me privately via Lybrate as it is very necessary to diagnose the proper underlying cause of your problem if you are wishing for a permanent relief from your problems. A permanent annihilation of the underlying cause of the disease will not only provide you relief from your troubles but it will also cease any chance of further relapse of that particular disease condition.

Hi Sir. my son's age is 28 years. He is in hair loss problem. Kindly suggest me what is the medicine to take?

Hi Sir. my son's age is 28 years. He is in hair loss problem. Kindly suggest me what is the medicine to take?
Is your hair loss accompanied with greying of hair and have they become very thin? your hair needs a very high protein well-rounded diet. Hair and nails are the last organs to get nutrition in the body, hence only if all the organs get sufficient nutrition and proteins, only then the remaining nutrition would be used for hairs. A strand of hair is composed of mostly protein, which means your hair needs protein to grow. Hence a therapeutic diet prescribed by a registered dietitian can help a lot in hair growth. Besides diet excessive stress, current/past dandruff and some medication are conclusively known to retard hair growth and promote hair loss. - cut down on the use of hair spray, hair gels, and styling creams that contain harsh chemical ingredients, which can dry out the scalp and cause the formation of flakes. Also harsh treatments such as perms, colours, relaxers etc take a toll on the health of your hair. - avoid changing your shampoo and conditioner constantly. Stick to one good mild cleansing shampoo for six months before changing. - excessive exposure to the sun, pollution, rain water and dust without proper protection makes the hair dry, brittle and limp. Use a live in conditioner during the rains to protect it from the humidity and wash and oil it regularly to maintain a healthy scalp. I may also prescribe medications like biotin or minox. That are proven to help in hairgrowth and repair I being a both a registered dietitian (rd) and doctor have been successfully helping patients with their problems through a holistic approach using customized therapeutic diet and medications. I will also suggest home remedies. Do reply back for private consultation for rx.

I have boils in my hips I am taking medication but it works temporary on me with this I am taking turmeric with milk but there is no use. These has became recurrent nature Pls suggest me how to get rid of this problem I am keen to know your reply Thanks.

BHMS
Homeopath,
Hello lybrate-user what is the diagnosis for the boils on your hips? and what is the medication you have been taking? turmeric with milk is a temporary solution by itself. For a complete cure, I suggest that you go for homoeopathy treatment as you can totally reverse the condition without depending on temporary healing methods. For the few symptoms that you have provided, I suggest that you take nitric acid 30 c, 4 pills 3 times a day for 3 days. It is a homoeopathic remedy and should take care of your condition.

What I can do in hair falling?

BHMS
Homeopath,
What I can do in hair falling?
Normally when there is excessive hair fall people avoid washing the hair, but it leads to more hair hair fall. You should clean your scalp with mild herbal shampoo like arnica for at least 3 - 4 times a wk. Avoid junk food. Eat protein based diet. Lots of green vegetables, dates, fruits, like, pomegranate, bananas etc on regular basis. Avoid using any colour or any chemical in hair.
