Corn is a problem which arises due to increased pressure at heel and other pressure areas. It tends to develop when you walk barefoot or when you use hardsoled shoes. You need to get it removed and have some medications along with it. Visit your dermatologist to get it removed.

Hi reduce belly fat you need to be particular about food choices & timings. Eat small & frequent meals. Include high fiber foods in your diet such as whole cereals & whole pulses. Drink plenty of water. Avoid refined foods from your diet such as maida, pasta. Keep check on your food intake.

Recommended 1. Lima beans (hindi: sem phali) as it increases thyroid function, garbanzo beans, peas, collard beans, green beans etc 2. Colored vegetables -like carrots, pumpkin, squash, eggplant, etc 3. Omega 3 essential fatty acids (present in flex seeds, brazil nuts, walnuts, almonds, cloves, mustard seeds powder, 4. Fruits: avocado, apples, kiwi, pears, berries, raspberries, strawberries, 5. Low-fat milk, cheese, plain yogurt, eggs, anchovies, sardines, lean beef, pork loin, turkey breast, lentils, mushrooms, bran cereal, whole grain bread, oatmeal, flaxseed oil, coconut oil 6. Others: potato, sweet potato, pepper, mushroom, rhubarb, prune, green tea, garlic, herbs & spices 7. Olive oil and coconut oil are safe seldom/not recommended some foods contain substances called goitrogens, which can cause the thyroid gland to enlarge. Goitrogenic foods can also slow down the thyroid, resulting in under activity. Dear lybrate user, according to ayurveda, when pitta (hot property of the body) increased in the body it leads to hair problems. And there things also necessary to keep in mind while treatment of hair problem:- 1. Poor nutritional level (lack of vitamins, minerals etc) 2. Strees and anger. For overcome this hair problem. 1. Take more green leafy vegetables which are easy to digest and contains vitamins, minerals etc. 2. Don't take fast food, junk food, oily food, spicy food, chinese, panjabi, potato, rice, heavy food etc which disturbs digestive system. 3. Manage streets and anger. It is most necessary. 4. Take a glass of milk two times in a day. 5. Morning walk / yogasana / pranayam like shitali, shitkari etc/ deep breathing exercise / walking for an hour 5 days in a week. Regular do these. 6. Drink water 3 litres per day. It helps in absorption of nutrients in the abdomen. 7. Don't take opposite diet like milk and carrots, milk and sour fruits etc. 8. Don't supress natural urges like urine, stool etc. 9. Avoid constipation. Take one spoon ghee in a glass of milk at night time for stool problem. 10. Don't use chemical base hair products. Always use herbal base hair producrs.

Dear lybrate-user first of all, it is important that you have seen a doctor and then had your diagnosis because scabies can be mimicked by certain other skin conditions also. Your g. P or dermatologist will prescribe the suitable anti scabies lotion like to be applied as directed. It is important that all your close contacts also apply the medication and follow strict hygiene with regards to laundry and linen. You might have to reapply the lotion after a week. An anti allergic can give you relief from itching.

I am a 33 year old female. Living in UK. Two weeks ago I found out I had thrush and also had little bouts of vertigo for 2-3 days like I felt I was swaying a bit. To make matters worse I had fever too so I popped in a single dose of nise tablet. And for cold and cough I had 1 tablet each of wikoryl and ciplox. The following day after a couple of mins after I was out of bed I passed out. The NHS team came home checked my BP and sugar and said I was fine. Reason for collapse was excessive heat in the house and I was too rapped up in layers coz of fever. Had no medicines thereafter. Just used canesten pessary and cream for thrush as suggest by the doc. After 4-5 days my body started to recover. But now for the past 2 days I have again started to feel that I have this swaying sensation. I am unsure whether it is cause of the thrush. Please advise. I am feeling quite low cause of all this and is worrying me quite a lot. I have slight cold and a very light sore throat as well. The symptoms of thrush though less was thinking of taking a fluconazole 150 mg single dose. Could the thrush be reason for swaying or the cold or some other reason altogether? I remember earlier taking stemetil whilst in India. Am really confused. Just want to get normal asap and want the vertigo to vanish. Please Please help. Thanks

It could be labyrinthine vertigo for which you were prescribed stemetil and I assume you were better. Restart the same bot on need to basis(whenever you have excessive swaying) and start tab cinnarizine 25 mg twice daily for a week. Avoid sudden jerky movements of the head.

For a sportsman, coming face to face with sports injury is no big deal. But what is important is that he/she gets the correct treatment in order to recover fast and get back to the field, giving their best performance in their field of sports. With regular medical check ups, physiotherapy sessions, training sessions, exercises and gymnasium sessions, sports injuries are treated effectively. However, all variants of a treatment may not fit with all kinds of injuries. Thus, treatments are always injury-specific for a more effective progression.

Here are some of the most common sports injuries and their most effective treatments as prescribed by sports specialists.

  1. Ankle sprain: Ankle sprains are common among sportsmen and sportswomen when the ligaments of their ankles tear. Such injuries are very common, but also unfortunately, extremely painful and demand a lot of recovery time. Thus, incorporating hamstring exercises in your daily routine would help in faster healing of such injuries.
