Irregular period does not mean that ur girlfriend cannot get pregnant. If u don't want to have accidental pregnancy , use protection in future. As far as her current situation, if she has got her normal periods, that means she is not pregnant.

Please do the pregnency test if there is doubt. It is also important to be knowledgeable and take good decisions. Please visit a gynecologist for a general health check-up for your wife. Discus all your problems and let the doctor suggest some basic tests (antinatal tests) so that you can ensure safety and good health for both the baby and the mother. Taking a preventive check up is the norm today as one can avoid a lot of complications during and after pregnancy. Please revert after this first step and update all the reports for any further clarification or helpful information.

dear abhishek generally ovulation day is from day 10 to 16 which is a fertile period. day 4 of the period is less likely to result in pregnancy. your second question of some of the semen coming out of the vagina is a normal happening and is not a problem. so dont worry about it. it does not prevent pregnancy

Hello, if she has diabetes then through out pregnancy blood glucose levels should be between 90 to 120 mg. This is all through the day. Otherwise pregnancy out come is affected. Can lead to miscarriages, large baby etc. She has to be on insulin with very strict glucose control. However t 3 & t4 being high tsh low is fine. It would have been better if actual levels were mentioned. Thanks. Most important is strict blood glucose control.

No oil cooking campaign

Restaurant style mushroom veggie momos. A no oil recipe.

A famous tibetan street food steamed delicacy.

As I am into no oil food campaign for a healthy you. I have come up with this unique recipe which can be cherished by all age groups and family members irrespective of the health complaints.

I fusioned and made it a little more healthy by adding wheat germ to the dough and excluding oil usage completely.

It is always good to have one meal of the day completely without oil especially after 40 plus.

It's a rare combination of healthy, tasty and light on stomach meal combo.

It's very easy, but have to follow certain tips while preparing, do not expose the dough to air as the moisture goes off.

Stuffing can either be veg or nonveg, steamed fish, steamed chicken or mutton kneema, minced prawns, fish eggs, egg scramble, crab meat, finely chopped baby corn, shredded paneer, tofu, list is endless, but make sure your stuffing does not contain mush moisture as it can make the dough moist and mushy with which the momo may shakeout and filling doesn't stay intact.

Reserve some stuffing to make a sauce which will be an accompaniment for the momos.

Rest the dough at least for 30 minutes.

Stay fit. Be healthy. Enjoy tasty food and satisfy your psyche.

Low Back Pain And Physiotherapy!

BPTH/BPT, MPTH/MPT-Orthopedic Physiotherapy, Post Graduate Diploma In Ergonomics (PGDHSC - Ergonomics)
Physiotherapist, Gurgaon
Low Back Pain And Physiotherapy!

Physiotherapists, who are experts in restoring and improving motion in people's lives, play an important role not only in treating persistent or recurrent low back pain, but also in prevention and risk reduction. Physiotherapists are highly-educated, licensed health care professionals who can help patients reduce pain and improve or restore mobility – in many cases without expensive surgery or the side effects of medications.

If you have experienced low back pain, you are not alone. Approximately one quarter of population report experiencing low back pain within the past 3 months at any given time. Low back pain often occurs due to overuse, strain or injury. This includes too much bending, twisting, lifting, and even too much sitting.

How can you prevent low back pain?

  1. Keep your back, stomach, and leg muscles strong and flexible
  2. Keep your body in alignment, so it can be more efficient when you move
  3. Don’t slouch-keep good posture
  4. Use good body positioning at work, home, or during leisure activities
  5. When lifting, keep the load close to your body
  6. Ask for help or use an assistive device to lift heavy objects
  7. Maintain a regular physical fitness regimen, staying active can help to prevent injuries

What to do when you have low back pain?

In most cases, low back pain is mild and will disappear on its own. However, for some people, back pain can return or persist, leading to a decrease in quality of life or even disability.

Stay active and do as much of your normal routine as possible when you have low back pain. Bed rest for longer than a day can slow down your recovery. If your pain lasts more than a few days or gets worse, then you should schedule an appointment to see your physical therapist.

See a health care professional immediately if you experience the following symptoms:

  1. Loss of bowel or bladder control
  2. Numbness in the groin or inner thigh
  3. Pain that does not change with rest

How a physiotherapist can help?

Not all low back pain is the same and your treatment should be tailored to suit your specific condition. You should expect the following from a physiotherapist:

Individualized assessment: Your physiotherapist will ask you a number of questions about your specific condition and will thoroughly examine you for problems with posture, flexibility, strength, joint mobility, and movement. Attention will be given to how you use your body at work, home, during sports, and at leisure.

Individualized treatment plan: Once your assessment is complete your physical therapist will develop a plan designed for your specific type of back problem. This may consist of:

  1. Treatment to decrease pain and restore mobility by electrotherapy modalities
  2. Manual therapy techniques, including spinal manipulation, to improve mobility of joints and soft tissues.
  3. Specific strengthening and/or flexibility exercises
  4. Education about care of your back and training for proper lifting, bending, sitting, sleeping, and doing chores both at work and in the home.

Take high protein diet. Do not take any medicine without consulting a doctor. Diet should include fresh fruits and vegetables (including dark orange vegetable, dark green leafy vegetables, and citrus fruit) whole-grain breads and cereals. Nonfat or low-fat milk or milk products if you are non vegetarian then extra-lean meats, chicken without the skin, fish, or cooked dried beans and peas. Also take 8-10 glasses of water.

Hi, i'm actually a 17 year old girl. Last month I was expecting I came to know about this around 2nd june. Friends suggested to eat lots and lots of papaya. I did so and within 2 days I felt strong cramps and bleeding started. My issue is the bleeding was not exactly blood much more like brown stains but a heavy flow of it. Now after 2 weeks i'm again experiencing vomiting, fatigue, frequent urination. So is there a chance I might still be pregnant?

Do not just rely on papaya the next time. Take a contraceptive pill or ask your partner to use condom. Does not look like you have conceived since you had bleeding. If, still in doubt, get a pregnancy detection kit from pharmacist, it is easily available, cheap and accurate.

Facial hair if they once appear need to be removed periodically by temporary method such as waxing, threading or permanently by laser. But you have to control your weight, hormones, weight etc so that the facial hair growth does not increase/ become thicker.
