Brush twice daily, specially at night 2. Rinse thoroughly after every meal 3. Clean your tongue also as you clean your teeth 4. Try flossin 5. Use specl mouthwash 6. Have more of green veggies 7. Green tea. Its a very good anti oxidant. Thankyou'

I have a problem with my inside teeth whenever I eat sweet my teeth get pain. What should I do?

BDS, MDS
Dentist, Secunderabad
Tooth pain could be due to various reasons, the most common being dental caries that forms a cavity within the tooth exposing the underlying nerve. Treating the tooth is the best option for which you need to consult a dentist and emergency treatment includes to run a course of antibiotics and pain killers. But not all pain killers work on tooth pain so please avoid self medication. You can consult me

I am suffering from uvula ulcer from past 5 days it is not allowing me even drink, eating is a way long I took the medication itraconazole, luliconazole, clotrimazole to cure ringworm but I have stopped them from 10 days and I took becosules for current ulcers but it is not helping.

Nutritional deficiency, excessive stress & debilitating disease can cause ulcer. Exercise regularly. Have a balanced diet. Eat lot of fruits & green leafy vegetables & drink plenty of water. Increase dietary intake of vitamin B, folic acid, iron and use of vitamin supplements etc under medical supervision if blood tests confirm low concentrations. Most go away in about a week, but it’s important to monitor any mouth sores you develop. If you are concerned, or if the sore doesn’t seem to be healing, contact your dentist Rinse your mouth thoroughly with a mouth wash after every meals.

Since brushing after every meal is not convinient, try chewing a sugarless gum for freshening your breath and removing the leftover food particles.

bad breath can be due to deposit of plaque and calculus on teeth, dry mouth, throat infection, smoking, tabacco chewing, increased intake of caffeinated drinks or alcoholic beverages or aromatic foods. so go for scaling and polishing of teeth. use mouthwash twice daily after brushing. also clean your tongue. increase your water intake n take it at regular intervals. avoid caffeinated or alcoholic beverages.
