You should take plenty of water & juices specially rich in vitamin C & Antioxidants eg:Lemon,Orange,Amla,pineapple etc. Take proper rest n sleep. Add More Salad,Green vegetables and fresh seasonal fruits in your meal. Do Pranayama & Yoga on regular basis . your feedback matters to us. wish you happy & healthy life ahead.

If you had unprotected sex during unsafe period then there are greater chances of pregnancy. Symptoms indicating towards pregnancy but still you should wait for a week and then go for pregnancy test if period not start.

No way. There is no chances of get pregnant without having unprotected sexual relation. There may be some physical ,physiological or hormonal imbalance or alteration. You should wait for few days or visit to gynecologist if problem remains pronged.

Home Remedies For Common Cold

Solutions:

1. A lemon a day keeps the cold away. For a bad cold, the juice of two lemons in 1/2 a litre (21/2 cups) of boiling water sweetened with honey, taken at bed time, is a very effective remedy.

2. Have ginger (adrak) tea.

3. Cut ginger (adrak) into 1" _ 11/2" pieces and boil with a cup of water. Give 8-10 boils. Strain, sweeten with 1/2 teaspoon sugar and drink hot.

4. A tablespoon of carom seeds (ajwain) crushed and tied up in a muslin cloth can be used for inhalation to relieve congestion/blocked nose.

-a similar small bundle placed near the pillow of sleeping children relieves congestion.

5. A teaspoon of cumin seeds (jeera) is added to 1 glass of boiling water. Strain and simmer for a few minutes. Let it cool. Drink it 1-2 times a day. If sore throat is also present, add a few small pieces of dry ginger (adrak) to the boiling water.

6. Six pepper corns (saboot kali mirch) finely ground and mixed with a glass of warm water, sweetened with 5-6 batasha (a variation of sugar candy) can be taken for a few nights.

7. In the case of the acute cold in the head, boil 1 tablespoon full pepper powder in a cup of milk along with a pinch of turmeric (haldi) and have once daily for at least 3 days. 


Cold with phlegm (balgam) and slight cough

Take 8-10 tulsi leaves and wash well. To 1 cup of water, add these tulsi leaves, 1-2 cloves of garlic (lasan), 1/2" piece ginger, crushed and 4-5 peppercorns (saboot kali mirch). Boil the water and keep simmering on fire till the quantity is reduced to 1/4 cup. Cool. Strain. Add 1 teaspoon honey. Drink this every morning.

Cause

Age/ heredity/ hormonal imbalance/ cheap make up products / polluted surrounding/ stress

Solutions:

  • Grape cleanser- to prepare the cleanser, firstly take some fresh grapes and also should be refrigerated. Cut them in half. Now rub them over the skin especially over the area affected by the acne. Now, wash with cold water.
  • Cucumber mask- take a small sized cucumber and a cup of oatmeal. Blend it well to get a fine paste. Take a spoon of the paste and mix with same amount of curd. Apply over skin. Wash the area after 30 minutes.
  • Fiber- have about 20 to 30 grams of fiber daily.
  • Avoid peanut items
  • Have low fat diet
  • Less salt- avoid food products high in salt like chips, salted popcorn, canned foods and lunched meat.
  • Use oil skin care products. Avoid makeup but if it is necessary then apply medicine before makeup application. Don’t allow the sweat to stay over face.
  • Divya kayakalp vati
  • Clean face with cotton wool dipped in rose water 2-3 times a day. Do not use soap.
  • Orange peel is very good in the treatment of acne. Grind the peel with some water to a paste and apply on affected parts. When oranges are not in season
  • Mix 1 teaspoon lemon juice in 1 teaspoon finely ground cinnamon (dalchini) powder and apply on affected areas frequently. Sift the cinnamon (dalchini) powder to make it into a very fine powder.
  • Crush a fegarlic (lasan) flakes and apply on the face
  • Grind some neem leaves with water to a fine paste. Apply on infected area.
  • Make a paste of ½ teaspoon each of sandalwood and turmeric (haldi) powder in a little water and apply.
  • Grind some black cumin seeds (shah jeera) with a little vinegar (sirka) to a smooth paste. Apply on affected parts. Cumin seeds

Yoga:

Exercise/ brisk walk daily/ slow jogging/fasting

India is said to be the diabetes capital of the world. With nearly 50 million people in india suffering from diabetes, the country has a big challenge to face. First, let's know what is diabetes. The elevated sugar in the blood is called diabetes. There are two primary reasons behind diabetes - one is when our body stops producing insulin and second is when the body does not respond to insulin that is produced by the body. Insulin is broken down by the body and used as energy, which is transported to the cells. There are two types of diabetes - type I diabetes and type ii diabetes. Let's know about them in a little detail: 

Type I diabetes 


Type I diabetes usually occurs in people who are below the age 20 and that is why it is also called as juvenile diabetes. In this type, the body becomes partially or completely unable to produce insulin. Type I diabetes is an autoimmune disease. In this, your immune system attacks the pancreas from where the insulin is produced, thereby making the pancreas inefficient or unable to produce insulin. Type I diabetes cannot be prevented, it can only be controlled with healthy lifestyle changes.

Type ii diabetes

Type ii diabetes is more common than type I diabetes in india. Type ii diabetes usually happens to people who are above the age of 40. This type of diabetes is caused due to insulin resistance. In this case, the pancreas produces insulin but the body is not able to respond to it properly. There can be many reasons behind type ii diabetes. Some of the reasons can be being overweight, high blood pressure, having a poor diet, taking too much stress, hormone imbalance, certain medications and leading a sedentary lifestyle. Though type ii diabetes can be reversed. 

Let's us know some natural ways by which we can treat diabetes at home: 

What not to eat: 

There are some foods which can negatively impact your diabetes. So, the first thing you need to do is to remove these foods from your diet. 


1. Refined sugar - we all know that sugar, until it is in its most natural form, is bad for people suffering from diabetes. When consumed, refined sugar spikes the blood sugar rapidly. Sometimes even the natural form like honey can cause a sudden spike in the blood sugar levels. So, it's better to avoid refined sugar by all means if you are a diabetic. 


2. Whole grains - grains that have gluten in them should be avoided. Gluten is associated with diabetes as its intake can cause leaky gut leading to inflammation which in turn can lead to auto immune diseases. 


3. Alcohol - alcohol consumption is directly related to diabetes. Alcohol not only damages your liver but also attacks the pancreas that produces insulin. Diabetes is linked with consumption of heavy alcohol which is two to three glasses a day. Beer should especially be avoided as it has a lot of carbohydrates. 


4. Cow's milk - just like whole grains, cow milk can trigger the immune system which can lead to inflammation. Milk coming from sheep and goat is not harmful in fact it helps to maintain the blood sugar level. But the conventional cow milk can be dangerous for you if you are suffering from diabetes. 


5. Gmo foods - gmo foods have the capability to promote diabetes along with causing liver and kidney diseases. Go for products which are labeled as gmo-free. 

What to eat and do 

Cinnamon 

Cinnamon contains a bioactive compound that can help to fight and prevent diabetes. Cinnamon is known to stimulate the insulin activity and thus regulate the blood sugar level. As excess of anything is bad, likewise cinnamon if taken in excess can increase the risk of liver damage due to a compound called coumarin present in it. The true cinnamon, not the one buy from shops (cassia cinnamon) is safer to have.

How to consume cinnamon 

- mix half or one teaspoon of grounded cinnamon with warm water and have it once daily. 

- boil raw cinnamon in 2 glasses of water. Let it cool for 30 minutes and have it daily.

Aloe vera

Aloe vera is easily found in indian households. Though it's bitter in taste, but combing it with buttermilk makes it taste better. Usually, aloe vera is used for beauty purposes but as it has anti-inflammatory properties it can heal the wounds. Due to its anti-inflammatory properties, it is said to control the blood sugar levels. 

Jamun 

Jamun and its leaves have proven to be helpful in lowering the blood sugar levels. Consuming approximately 100 grams of jamun every day is said to show tremendous improvement in your blood sugar levels.

Vitamin c

Vitamin c is not only good for skin but also for diabetes. Recent studies have shown that consuming approximately 600 mg of vitamin c daily can improve the blood sugar level significantly. People who have chronic diabetes should consume foods rich in vitamin c every day. Some foods rich in vitamin c are amla, orange, tomato and blueberry. 

Exercise

One of the main reasons behind type ii diabetes is being overweight. Any kind of physical activity, be it yoga, zumba, aerobics, gymming, playing sports can significantly improve blood sugar level by maintaining your weight. Not only this, walking every day can help to reduce the blood sugar level tremendously.

  • शास्त्रों में स्वस्थ शरीर को खुदा की तरफ से दिया गया बहुमूल्य वरदान बताया गया है। लेकिन कभी-कभी हम इस भागदौड़ भरी जिंदगी में अपना ख्याल नहीं रख पाते। जिसकी वजह से हमें तमाम तरह की कठिनाइयों का सामना करना पड़ जाता है और हमारी शक्ति दिन प्रतिदिन क्षीण होती चली जाती है। परंतु आज भी अगर हम कुछ प्राचीन तरीकों का इस्तेमाल करें तो हम अपनी खोई हुई शक्ति वापस पा सकते हैं। अगर आप भी अपने दिल में शक्तिशाली और सुडौल शरीर की अभिलाषा लिए हुए है तो सुबह उठ कर कच्चे चने का सेवन करना ना भूलेंं।
  • इसके लिए आप शाम को सोते समय तांबे के बर्तन में भरे पानी में चने को डुबोकर रख दें और सुबह होते ही ही उनका सेवन कर ले। चने में ऐसे ख़ास तरह के तत्व होते है जो पानी में मिल कर रासायनिक क्रिया के फलस्वरूप कई तरह के विटामिंस का निर्माण करते है, और ये विटामिन हमारे शरीर में स्फूर्ति भरने और नई ऊर्जा देने में सहायक होते हैं। व्यायाम के बाद सुबह को भीगे हुए चने, चने का पानी सहित नियमित रूप से सेवन करने से आपका स्वास्थ्य बना रहेगा। कहावत भी है खाये चना रहे बना।
  • अंकुरित चना खाना सबसे ज्यादा फायेदमंद है। अंकुरित चना धातु पौष्टिक, मासपेशियों को सुदृढ़ व शरीर को वज्र के सदृश बनाने वाला तथा प्राय: समस्त चर्म रोग नाशक है। विटामिन ‘सी’ की प्रचुरता के कारण यह नाश्ता वजन बढ़ाता है, खून में वृद्धि करता है। इसके इलावा अंकुरित चने का सेवन फेफड़े मजबूत करता है, रक्त में कोलेस्ट्रोल कम करता है और दिल की बीमारियाँ दूर करने में सहायक होता है।
