I am having severe bloating problem. Can you pls help with some good diet recommendations.
You have sever bloating. I think you are customised with fried or oily food and other food stuff which create problems with your metabolism resulting indigestion and bloating, constipation and many problems. I would like to advise you to follow regular daily routines of getting all dietary measures and daily behaviours as well as yoga and exercise and morning walk every day. Hot water sipping boiled with ginger, saumph and ajwayan one cup every one hour for whole day. Avoid oily or junk food and alcohol or vinegar and sour products e. G. Pickles etc and nonveg, rajma, peas, urad. Warm milk boiled with ginger and haldi at breakfast and before going to bed. Get up early morning before sunrises and go for a walk for one hour every day. Do yoga and exercise every day. You may follow some ayurveda medicines as given below. Arogyavardhini vati. 1 tab chitrakadi vati. 1 tab mahashankh vati. 2tabs twice daily with warm water after meals. Pippalyadyasav. 15 ml mustakarist. 15 ml twice daily with water after meals. If you feel better result then continue it for 3 months otherwise have private consultation for pulse diagnosis and proper treatment with me.

I have gastric at problem since few years. Many pills and checkup didn't see any change what should I do.
Gastric problems can be very many. It seems as if you are bothered with irregularities of your bowel habbits. Let me tell you how can your digestive system be regularized. First of all have a look at your life style. Regular sleep and dietary habbits, in most of cases suffice. Any addictions, may be smoking, drinking, tobacco chewing etc. Also have bad effects on digestion. In addition, increase mix salad helps a lot. Add fruits of season compulsorily to lunch. Extra effort for the problem may be taken in the form of 2 spoons of honey added to half a cup of warm water every morning empty stomach is excellent remedy. A week or so, if followed the above, still persistent, medicines may be prescribed. Hope satisfied regards.

Hi mam, my daughter is suffering from fissure problem from past 1.2 years. We are giving her lactulooz 5ml b. D. Along with dietary changes. The problem is she still doesn't pass stool on daily basis, due to which the initial part of stool becomes hard and difficult to pass. What to do?

I have acidity problem even though I am strictly ayurvedic and do not take any wrong food. I have to clean it by taking 4 glass of water and remove it out by cleaning the bowl, any medicine remedy.

Some times it happens due to weak agni (biofire). Increase fruit content in your diet specially pappaya. Have simple bland food (khichadi) for next few days avoiding junk, oily, spicy fried and deep-fried food items. Drink lot of water. Do not lye-down or sit immediately after having meals. Have a walk instead. Maintain good bowel habits. For gas some herbal medicines might also help you but after proper history taking. Please update with your valuable feedback.

Avoid spicy food items and not to eat junk food and we also need to avoid peanuts and potatoes in our daily diet and take tablet pan-d before breakfast on empty stomach for three months and always to take a gap of a week before starting it again only if necessary.

I have been regularly suffering due to gastric pains with heavy stomach pains. Please tell me a cure for this.
1.Take bland diet, Avoid foods which cause acidity like spicy, oily, fatty and junk foods, onion, garlic, citrus fruit like orange grape, lemon, tomato, cucumber, raddish, vinegar, pickle etc 2.Have proper Breakfast, Don’t skip or postpone your meal, Take home made food, Avoid food and water from outside, 3.Eat food slowly, don’t rush, take smaller meals at frequent intervals like 5-6 meals per day, and don't overeat. Limit fluid intake during meal4.Drink plenty of water (8-10 glass daily). Take your meal regularly and timely. Avoid fasting, Don’t skip your breakfast. 5. Stop smoking, consumption of alcohol and tobacco, excess tea or coffee, carbonated drinks if you are having,6. Avoid stress, have adequate rest, sleep for 7-8 hours daily in night, go for regular exercise, practice yoga/meditation 7. Take one tablet of pan40 in the morning before breakfast daily for few days .8.Consult mphysician for further advice.

I am suffering from acidity whenever I drink tea. It has been a headache for me as I can not hav my dinner properly due to dis problem. Plus I am suffering from gas problems. I haven't yet consulted any doctor till date for d same.

Hi, take cap. Stomotone 1-1-1 after food for 2-3 weeks and himcocid syrup 2tsf 3 times daily before food to control burning sensation in the stomach and chest. Take madiphala rasayana 2tsf 3 times a day to stop vomitting. Avoid hot and spicy food. Eat small quantities frequently. Drink plenty of water. Never miss your breakfast. Avoid excess intake of coffee and tea.

Maintain proper hygiene, take filtered water only. No smoking, no alcohol if any. Avoid outside spicy and fried food. Walk about 3-5 kms daily. There should be gap of 2 hrs after dinner and sleep. Small and frequent meals is of help chew your food properly at time of lunch and dinner. Keep your blood sugar controlled. Raise your bed about 4" from headend side. Get your gastroendoscopy done. Tab nexpro-l 1 tab empty stomach.

Sir. Earlier I was diagnosed with fatty liver Grade 1. My LFT during Ramzan fasting was Bilirubin 0.8 Ast 75 Alt 86. Urea 30 and creatinine 1.3 after Ramzan Bilirubin 1.2 Ast 39 Alt 41 Urea 32 and creatinine 1.3 Is there any issues on result ?

To treat the fatty liver - •Take 1/2 teaspoon of AMLA POWDER (CHURN) with a glass of water in morning. • Avoid alcohol or do not drink too much amount of alcohol. Avoid tobacco smoking & chewing. • Control your weight don't be overweight . Maintain your weight by doing exercise daily such as running , jogging ,walking . • Avoid fast food, cold drinks , chicken & fish. As these food increase load on liver. • Eat healthy & balanced diet .Green leafy vegetables, seasonal fruits, high fiber foods . Eat less or minimum amount of foods containing fat such as butter , ghee, cream. Maintain your cholesterol level in normal range. • Do not take higher amount of drugs such as pain killer, antidepressants ,steroids. As these medicines cause very harmful effect on liver. • Prevent yourself from infection. Always wash your hands with soap before eating food. • Avoid use of other person's razor for shave . • Take 1 tea spoon of LIV-52 syrup of HIMALAYA company in the evening.

Kidney stones treatment depends on the types and size of stone, most kidney stones won't require invasive treatment. You may be able to pass a small stone by: drinking water. Drinking as much as 2 to 3 quarts (1.9 to 2.8 liters) a day may help flush out your urinary system. Unless your doctor tells you otherwise, drink enough fluid mostly water to produce clear or nearly clear urine. Pain relievers. Passing a small stone can cause some discomfort. To relieve mild pain, according to your medical history I may prescribe pain relievers such as ibuprofen, acetaminophen or naproxen sodium. Medical therapy. I am a doctor and renal (kidney) dietitian who will aslo prescribe a customized diet plan and medications to help pass your kidney stone quickly and with less pain. Hello lybrate user the problem of acidity arises mainly due to improper digetion, eating fast food, spicy foods, late night sleeping schedule etc. So you have to avoid such a things.

Please do not over eat. Have your lunch and dinner on time. Stop junk food. Take a cup of milk with turmeric powder before going to bed at night. Take tab. Gasex 2 tablets twice a day with warm water.

Hello Doctor, I am 35 years old male. From last few weeks my stomach is upset. Motions more than 3 to 4 times a day. No pain, motion builds within 2 hours after eating meals. I am strict vegetarian. Occasionally eat outside but that too from quality, hygienic restaurants. I live in Gurgaon in India. I have no allergies. Last week I took 3 Medicines namely Librax, Oflox-OZ and Sporlac after consulting a physician. Medicines were effective during those 3 days. However the problem re appeared. Please advise. Hello lybrate-user. Your prblm can be quoted as irritable bowel. So wat you hav to do is start on dees mild doses of ayurvedic medicine. Guduchyadi kashayam15ml add45 ml warm water twice daily before food. Vilwadi tab thrice daily before food. At night vilwadi lehyam one spoon at bedtime followed by hot water. Kutajarishtam20ml thrice daily after food.

Fatty liver is a condition where liver function is improper. While medicine plays an important role, the main role is of diet. Avoid alcohol, heavy food, non veg, junk and processed food, fried food.
