Multidimensional approach is required. Healthy lifestyle and diet, regular physical exercise, proper sleep, plenty of water keeps the body fit. Meditation and yoga help to maitain the body wt. Get Thyroid function test and lipid profile done. Abnormalcy in any of these may be a cause of obesity. So needs treatment.

Hello! I'm Krishna Chaitanya and I'm 20 years old. I've recently heard about Banana Diet to loose fat. I came across this on the internet and would like to know about this diet directly from a practising doctor. The diet is as follows: 1 or 2 bananas for breakfast, bananas for lunch and for snacks if needed in the evening and dinner of unrestricted choice with as much water intake of water as possible Please let me know if this diet is proper to follow and let me know if there would be any side effects. I presently weigh 108 kgs and I'm 180 cm tall. I don't have any other illnesses or diseases.

Hello what you have read on the Internet is not seems to be very studious many people who are not doctors or dietitians also write anything but you have taken very good step to confirm it by a doctor not any single type of fruit can replace you are breakfast for food for weight loss you have to do regular exercises also morning walk fast walk don't eat late night you should eat in the evening only before 7 P.M there should be a gap of 2 hours between food and sleep don't eat rice in the evening or night don't eat until fullness of stomach do abdominal exercises more and if you are not having bulging belly size then you don't have to worry for the weight. Just concentrate on the lightness of body not only on weight.

Your wt gain is due to tyroid issue. You should controll it first. Yoga pranayam will helps you better in both cases 1) stretching exercises 10 minutes. 2) brisk walk 5 km daily or 25 minutes 3) yoga- surya namaskar & different yogasana for 25 minutes.

Paneer ka phool is a effective herb to counteract diabetes. But does it cause weight loss or not needs to be assessed. meanwhile for weight loss, you can safely take medohar guggul 2 tab thrice daily after food. Reduce the qty of water intake.MORE WATER LEADS TO MORE FAT!!!. Exercise daily. have light food.

Prescribing homeopathic remedies for weight loss involves understanding the constitution of the patient. Homeopathic medicines do not dissolve fat, but stimulate metabolism to burn more fat. The top 5 homeopathic medicines to lose weight are:

  1. Calcarea Carbonica: This remedy works well when excess fat is concentrated in the abdominal area and the person suffers from a low rate of metabolism. It can also be used to treat weight gain due to thyroid problems. People who benefit from this have a tendency to perspire excessively and cannot tolerate cold drafts. They may also have a craving for food such as boiled eggs, chalk, clay, lime and often suffer from constipation.
  2. Natrum Mur: This is usually recommended when treating excessive fat deposits in the thighs and buttocks. These children have an aversion to being touched or looked at and crave acidic food like pickles. They may also suffer from gastric troubles alternating between constipation and diarrhoea due to a tendency to overeat.

You need to have a diet and exercise plan based on your bmi, age & weight and sex, presence of any diseases. There are exercises specific for each part of body like hips, thighs or abdomen. There are matters to be discussed privately. Comprehensive exercise& diet plan based on whether vegetarian /non vegetarian can be given if you ask privately. May also need to do some tests. In brief, weight reduction can be achieved only by reducing the intake of food 1/3 of what you take now. And by appropriate exercise plans for each part like belly, thighs, legs etc. To burn off fat. Some tips 1) drink three or four cups of water whenever you feel hungry and just before eating food 2) take boiled or raw vegetable like cucumber, carrot etc. As half of your diet. Then take 1/4 of your total diet as sprouted pulses / proteinaceous food like roti, cooked pulses and remaining with rice or other carbohydrates. Oil or ghee etc. Should be just bare minimum. The most important is to burn off the energy intake by exercises. There is no short cut or medicines without exercise. The food we eat is utilised for our energy needs and the remaining will be stored as fat which leads to obesity. It is better to do some tests.

Start eating triphla chooran (a natural fruit medicine made up of Amla, Baheda, Haradh) in morning empty stomach with luke warm water. You are young and you should start a jogging regime, once a week eat only fruits that day. eat light dinner and if possible dont eat anything after sunset.

You need to increase your calorie intake by increasing your carbohydrates & protein intake. You can have parathas, sandwiches in your breakfast. Increase 1 chapati more in your lunch & dinner. Add rice in your lunch. Include vegetables, dal, salad ,curd in your daily meals. You can have milkshakes, cookies fruits in between your meals. Eat every 2-3 hours.
