I am 27 years old my face is damage my full face has pimple scars. My skin is not glowing please answer.

DHMS (Diploma in Homeopathic Medicine and Surgery)
Homeopath, Ludhiana
I am 27 years old my face is damage my full face has pimple scars. My skin is not glowing please answer.
Homoeopathic cream ANTIMARKS CREAM ( BIOVALLEY) Apply twice daily in circular fashion Egg white works well in order to lighten the pimple marks and the pimple scars. Take a fresh egg and break the egg, separate the egg white from the egg yolk. Apply this egg white on the pimple marks. After 10-15 minutes, wash with the cold water. Baking Soda Take some baking soda. Mix some water with the baking soda and apply this mixture on the pimple marks. Baking soda serves as an agent that carries out micro dermabrasion on the skin and helps to clear the pimple marks on the face and body. Tomatoes Tomatoes are rich in Vitamin A, which helps nourish the dead skin while rejuvenating it. Vitamin A helps by healing the skin and by helping facilitate quick growth of the skin while removing the scars. Using tomatoes to help heal the scars on the skin is not a lengthy process, but it is rather simple. Just take a tomato, slice it and make it into a pulp. Apply the pulp on the face and leave it on for twenty minutes’ time. Then, wash it off with some warm water. You could also mix cucumbers with it. Make a paste out of all of cucumbers and tomatoes and apply as a face mask. Leave it on for half an hour and wash it with some cool water. Follow this method two days at a time every week and observe the results.

Your worries are very justifiable and needs a multiple approaches including homoeopathic medicine, diet, and according to me some yogasanas like Shirshasan, and few pranayamas can be employed to treat you judiciously... To prescribe a proper diet plan, and homoeopathic medicines there are more details required... consult for further treatment...

Ways to get rid of hyperpigmentation

MD - Dermatology, MBBS
Dermatologist, Delhi
Play video

Hello, viewers, I’m Dr Rohit Batra from Derma worlds skin and hair clinic. Today we are going to talk about hyper pigmentation or melasma.

Melasma or Hyper pigmentation is very common in females though it affects males also. You must have seen people having hyper pigmentation or brown or black spots on the face, especially in the butterfly area of the face. That is known as melasma or mask of pregnancy. But though it is known as the mask of pregnancy even unmarried females can have on their face. Pigmentation is a very common thing that is seen in our household, but people are very depressed with the hyper pigmentation on their face. They want to get rid of it.

Today as dermatology is growing by leaps and bounds we have got many things that can help you get rid of pigmentation. We have peels, we have lasers, we have other treatments, topicals, cream etc that if prescribed by a trained experienced dermatologist can do wonders to your skin. So if you are having hyper pigmentation, then is it because of any acne that you had earlier or you are suffering from melasma or be it any sort of hyper pigmentation visit a dermatologist so that he can help you get rid of it. It takes around two to three months in which the hyper pigmentation or the brown or black spots fade away and once you have taken care of it and you apply a sunscreen on a regular basis you can take care of the hyper pigmentation so that it doesn’t come back.

As far as sunscreen is concerned depending on what sort of skin type you have you can either opt for a gel based sunscreen if you have an oily skin or a lotion or cream base if you have a dry skin. Sunscreen needs to be applied half an hour before sun exposure and the effect lasts for one and a half hour so you need to reapply. But you must think if the sunscreen is having just an S.P.F. rating of higher say in the eighties or nineties that doesn’t prevent you from hyper pigmentation. It should be a broad spectrum sunscreen with a UV A and a UV B protection to give you complete protection against the harmful effects of the sun that leads to hyper pigmentation. When talking about peels we have glycolic acid, we have ferulic acid, we have rhetoric acid that are given in peels along with mandelic acid etc in arginine that carefully but surely treats the hyper pigmentation without any side effects. Q switch lasers is used only in resistant areas where all other things like cream, oral medication and peels have failed.

So don’t get depressed, visit us and we can surely help you get rid of hyper pigmentation, marks and melasma on your face.

If you are really worried about the hyper pigmentation marks on your face or body and you want to get rid of them you can either visit us at our lybrate profile or can just drop in for an appointment at our clinic Derma worlds Skin and Hair Clinic, Rajouri Garden, New Delhi.

Happy Healing.

Pimples or acne is caused when Hair follicles in your skin gets clogged due to oil, dirt, bacteria or dead skin. Acne generally occurs in people with oily skin but other factors like dead skin, dirt, pollution or hormonal imbalance can also cause acne in people with normal skin. Acne can be reduced or controlled by including some habits in your daily life style. 1. Keep your skin clean – Wash your face daily with an oil control face wash. You can also use a good AHA glow face wash that not only controls oil but also removes dead skin and bacteria. You can also use Tea Tree face wash 2 times a day. By shedding the old dead skin, your skin feels rejuvenated and clean. Apply a good toner, like tea tree toner after washing your face. After toning, apply an oil free and non- comedogenic cream on face. Last but not the least, apply a good sunscreen with minimum 30 spf daily. 1.Face packs – Occasionally apply good oil controlling face packs. Multani mitti + Lemon + yogurt is a good face packs for oily skin beauties. You can apply organic apple cider for 5 minutes after washing your face to kill the bacteria that clogs your pores. Green Tea can also be used as a toner once a day. 2.Diet – Most important thing is diet. Eat fresh fruits and green leafy vegetables daily. Reduce junk food intake, colas, alcohol and soda and consume whole grains. Keeping your digestive system healthy keeps your body and blood toxins free. Drink green tea, lemon juice, orange juice and food items containing Vitamin C as it is responsible for maintaining good skin health. Drink at least 10 glasses of water every day. 3.Exercise – Exercises, yoga, suryanamaskar improves the blood circulation and balances hormones. They keep skin healthy and boost body’s immunity to deal with several issues and not just acne. Include it in your daily regime.

Acne: Myths and Facts

MBBS, Diploma In Dermatology And Venerology And Leprosy (DDVL)
Dermatologist, Navi Mumbai
Acne: Myths and Facts

Acne can be frustrating and annoying. A lot of unnecessary chaos can be avoided if people get the facts right.

1. Myth: Adults do not suffer from acne problems
Truth: While acne outbreaks are common amongst teenagers, adults are not spared either. In adults, the acne problems are essentially of two types; the late onset acne and the persistent acne. In many cases, it has been observed that the acne problems appear at a later period, mostly after 23 to 25 years of age (late onset acne). At other times, the unwanted acne outbreaks that mark its appearance during the teenage years linger for a longer period (persistent acne type).

2. Myth: A person's eating habits and lifestyle has no role to play in acne
Truth: Lifestyle and eating habits can influence a person's health. Excessive intake of sweets and simple carbohydrates can worsen the acne. Stress, fatigue, lack of proper sleep, can also aggravate the already frustrating acne problem.

3. Myth: Acne results from dirty skin, with adult men and women being equally affected
Truth: The Pilosebaceous unit of the skin plays a pivotal role in acne outbreaks. The oil producing gland (Sebaceous gland) of this unit acts as the main control. Certain hormones regulate the activity and size of this gland. An increase in the size of the sebaceous gland results in an increased oil secretion. The skin pores become very sticky. These pores serve as a host, into which the acne causing bacteria, P. acnes multiples.
Adult women are more prone to acne than their male counterparts. This is because, hormonal imbalance or alterations affects adult females more. Women often suffer from acne during menstruation.

4. Myth: Acne can spread from one person to another
Truth: More than often, acne is seen as a contagious dermatological problem. Though caused by the bacteria P. acnes, acne is not contagious. It is rather foolish to maintain a distance from the affected individual.

5. Myth: Acne is a minor problem and needs no medical intervention
Truth: Going for self-medication can do the acne more harm than good. Acne is influenced by a number of internal as well as external factors (stress, hormonal imbalance, unhealthy lifestyle). For an effective treatment, it is important to identify the root cause. It is best to consult a dermatologist at the earliest.

6. Myth: In case of acne, the face should be frequently washed and cleansed
Truth: Ideally, the face should be washed twice daily with a gentle cleanser. Some people get eternal pleasure in squeezing the heads of the spot. This can damage your skin beyond repair.

Do not allow acne problems to affect your self-confidence. Acne can be cured. Do not fall for the baseless myths.

I have postpregnancy stretch Marks. What might be the treatment for my problem which is really natural?

BHMS
Homeopath, Faridabad
Hello, There's no way to prevent stretch marks. There are no products on the market that can prevent them, Creams that claim to work on stretch marks are applied to the external layer of skin. But they won't reach the layer underneath, which is the part that stretches. So There's no need to spend lots of money on creams and lotions. Make your Own Stretch Marks Removing Lotion:-For this, mix ¼ cup aloe vera gel and ½ cup extra virgin oil. Break open 6 Vitamin E capsules and 3-4 Vitamin A capsules and add the liquid to the oil and gel mixture. Mix all the ingredients and store it in a bottle. This is your natural lotion to remove stretch marks. Keep this bottle in the refrigerator. Apply daily on the stretch marks. Shake the bottle before use. ***Take Schwabe's Silicea Pentarken, 2 tabs ,twice daily for 1 month.**
