Hi. Getting fatigue soon with less physical activity can be caused by heavy bodyweight. But may be it is not the sole reason. Any heart artery blockages should be tested first. Once fit from heart side, she can be advised physical exercise and yoga as per her health and weight status. She can also be advised surgery for weight loss only after confirming that heart is healthy. Take care.

Few Tips on Healthy Living would help you- (1.(EAT SENSIBLY: Avoid saturated fats and trans-fats as they raise the bad cholesterol level (LDL). Check the labels of food items before consuming them and avoid anything that is “partially hydrogenated” as this is a clear indicator that it contains trans-fat. Cut out red meat from your diet and add fruits and vegetables instead. (2.) CHOOSE THE RIGHT OIL (3) WALK / EXERCISE (4) Keep BODY WEIGHT IN CONTROL (5) DESTRESS your self (5) Abstain from SMOKING completely (6) AVOID simple SUGARS (7) Do some recreational activity or follow your hobby daily for half an hour (8) Spend less time with gadgets like laptop / mobile / TV If you need help with a customized diet plan to improve your lipid picture, please contact us directly.

Hello, Thanks for the query. If your blood glucose levels are FBG 165 mg & PP 230 mg, then taking oral antidiabetic medicine 3 times a day is rather too much. Please check your HbA1c% also and come back. The present drug combination recommended Metformin + Glibenclamide 2.5 mg once may be ok. But it is better if more recent drugs like glimepiride, tenelgliptin etc are used rather than Glibenclamide. Please remember diabetes once diagnosed will remain with you for lifetime. There is no question of stopping the trratment once blood glucose level is normalised. Because if you stop the treatment again the levels will go up and there can be a number of long term serious complications. If you have any doubts please come back. Thanks.

Hello, Its better to avoid fruits consumption at night,as if unutilised fruit sugar gets stored easily in the form of fat, adding to unwanted weight and calories.
