Kidney Stones & Treating Them With Ayurveda!

‘Kidney stones’ is a disorder of the urinary tract wherein stones form in the kidney. This happens when solid particles in the urine become concentrated; the solid particles mostly being acid and mineral salts. This disorder can affect any part of the urinary tract: from the bladder to the kidneys. The treatment for this disorder is designed depending on the severity of your symptoms.

Symptoms
Once affected by this disorder, pain in the lower abdominal region will be common. The pain may get aggravated when you urinate. You may also exhibit symptoms of vomiting, nausea and a constant urge to urinate. Hematuria (presence of blood in the urine) is another symptom common to this disorder.

Causes
There is no single known cause for kidney stones. These stones occur when certain solid particles such as uric acid and calcium are present in the urine in large amounts. However, certain factors that increase the risk of kidney stones are:

  1. Family history of kidney stones
  2. Lack of sufficient water in the body or dehydration
  3. Eating foods which are loaded with sugar and salts
  4. Obesity

Ayurvedic treatment
Ayurvedic remedies for kidney stones are natural and free from side effects. Apart from relieving the symptoms, they also help in improving your overall well-being. These remedies balance the various doshas in the body and thus, lead to improved functioning of the abdominal organs. The Ayurvedic remedies for kidney stones are

  1. Stay hydrated: Staying hydrated is the basic you can do to either prevent kidney stones or treating the condition. Dehydration is one of the most important causes for the formation of kidney stones.
  2. Avoid certain foods: You need to avoid consumption of certain foods such as apples, tomatoes and cheese which increase the risks of kidney stones.
  3. Exercise on a regular basis: You need to chalk down and stick to an exercise regimen to keep your weight at optimal levels. Remember that obesity is a major contributor to kidney stones.

Respected Sir 1.You will pass out this 6 mm stone spontaneously without any medicine. Just make sure you drink plenty of oral fluids daily, atleast 2.5 to 3 litres per day 2.Limit the amount of salt intake in your diet. Do not add extra salt. 3.Limit the intake of animal proteins like red meat and fish 4.Include seasonal fruits and vegetables in the diet on a daily basis. 5.Avoid soft drinks and energy drinks like Red Bull. 6.Limit high oxalate containing foods like chocolates, nuts, spinach etc. 7. It is very difficult to predict when the stone will come out .Get a repeat ultrasound done after 3 months. Hope this helps Get well soon Thanks.

In females frequent UTI is common. First you should rule out any pelvic inflammatory disease. Drink lot of water. Get an ultrasound whole abdomen and urine R/M.review with the reports. After reports we can decide whether to start any antibiotics or not.

Urine naturally has some yellow pigments called urobilin or urochrome. The darker urine is, the more concentrated it tends to be. Dark urine is most commonly due to dehydration. However, it may be an indicator that excess, unusual, or potentially dangerous waste products are circulating in the body. Suggestion: Diet can also be a factor. The color of all-natural foods (such as berries and beets) can interact with pigment to create a different color. Heavily processed foods can contain high amounts of food dye. This dye will interact with the pigment as well. B vitamins, such as riboflavin (B-2) and cobalamin (B-12), are also known for causing fluorescent yellow-green urine. If you take supplements or multivitamins, they may be the source of your brightly colored urine. Meal replacement shakes, which are also fortified with B vitamins, can have the same effect. Excess beta carotene or vitamin C may lead to urine that’s dark yellow or orange. Beta carotene, which is converted to vitamin A in the body, is found in yellow and orange foods such as carrots and sweet potatoes. In addition to citrus fruits, vitamin C is also found in foods such as tomatoes, strawberries, and broccoli. Exercise If you don’t properly hydrate after a workout, it can also lead to dehydration and darker urine. Extreme exercise without proper hydration can cause a serious condition that leads to muscle breakdown. This can cause severe muscle pain along with cola- or tea-colored urine. If this occurs, you should seek immediate medical attention. Over-the-counter and prescription medications can also make your urine bright or more vivid. This includes antibiotics, laxatives, and certain chemotherapy drugs used to treat cancer. For example, the medication phenazopyridine (Pyridium) is commonly used to treat the discomfort associated with urinary tract infections (UTIs). A common side effect of its usage is orange-colored urine. Other medications such as rifampin may also harmlessly stain the urine a bright orange color.

Hi lybrate-user, thanks for using Lybrate. Regarding your complaint it more seems like constipation. Drink plenty of water daily and have more fibers in your diet the form of vegetables, fruits and salads daily that helps to soften your stool. You can have yoghurt also daily that will help to clean your guts. Above all if your complaint persist so you can start with a laxative like Syrup Dulcolax 2tsp at bed time daily for a month. Avoid junk foods and bakery products.

Phone talk doesn't cause urine infections but can increase sexual organ discharges normally, and if you do all before marriage you will be bored after marriage.
