Dear excessive weight gain occurs only when calories intake are more than calories burnt, It can put a person at risk of thyroid disease, diabetes , kidney problems, arthritis etc... Dear to decrease weight you have to do work out daily. Try the remedies below they can help u. 1. Mix three teaspoons of lemon juice, one teaspoon of honey in one glass of water. 2. Drink it in the morning on an empty stomach daily. 3. Drink mint tea or make a paste of green mint with some simple spices and eat during meals. 4. Eat vegetables such as bitter gourd and drumsticks to control obesity. 5. Do bhujang asana, dhanurasana, naukasana, kumbhakasana, pavanamukthasana daily 5 min per asana. 6. Do brisk walk early morning daily and join aerobics in evening. 7. Avoid oily and fried foods, processed foods, fatty foods like butter, purified butter, cheese, whole-milk yogurt, cream, chocolate, etc. 8. Replace refined flour with whole-wheat flour and rice with brown rice or parboiled rice. 9. Drink three litres of water daily 10. Take 2 tab medohar guggul and 2 tab triphala guggul twice a day with luke warm water 30 min after meals./ 30 days.. revert me back after 30 days.

1. Caffeine free

The fact that peppermint tea does not contain caffeine may be a boon or a bane.

Hi, as he is very small and he will gain height in his rest of the 18 yrs, so don't worry so much about it. Encourage him indulge into physical activities like jumping, hopping, running, etc. Which will help in pressing the pressure points which are present on the sole of each foot. Also, give him calcium sources (milk, milk products, non-veg. (sp. Seafood), eggs, green leafy vegetables, fruits, fortified cereals such as corn flakes as they have a lot of calcium in one serving, soyabean). Vitamin d is also required for healthy and strong bones, so daily 10-15 minutes of exposure to sunlight (in summers, avoid sunlight between 11am to 4pm) is an essential part. Regular de-worming (medicines given for worms) after every 6 months is mandatory. Medication: give your child homoeopathic medicines - biocombination-21 and alfaalfa tonic - both 3 times a day daily for 3 months. These two can be given regularly on and off later.

Boost up your metabolism, take off your weight:

How can you boost your metabolism? if you make a goal to keep off your weight gain by increasing your metabolism and like to stick to it, nothing can resist you to attain it. Constant efforts help you to burn your calories.

Probably, you have heard that people like to blame their weight on slow metabolism. But the metabolism can be increased by taking diet properly and doing exercise daily. Someone with high metabolic rate is able to burn calories more efficiently than someone with low metabolic rate. 

Is there any possible way to boost up your metabolism?
Diet and physical activities help to rev up your metabolism and doing so it contributes to cut down the weight too. Keeping on the maintenance of lower weight helps to speed up the metabolism you were born with, it can't be happen without constant effort.

If you have tremendous success in losing weight up to a certain point but then suddenly stop seeing results, at that time you encounter a plateau where the people's metabolism has slowed to match their new level of fitness. The metabolism doesn't have to work as hard because there is less body mass to fuel. Omega 3 fats can boost you metabolism than saturated fats which slows down the metabolism. If you plan to consume diet with few complex carbohydrates and more lean proteins for few days, it will definitely help to cut off the fitness plateau.

3. Change your lifestyle at some extent- Either you are taking the meals every couple of hours or some number of meals in a day, should be fit in your lifestyle. 
Eat everyday at same time as what will be your meal time, have breakfast daily at same time, then you will be less likely to binge later in the day and will also help you to boost up youmetabolism.

Drinking plenty of water is healthful in many reasons but won't help to boost your metabolism, it will help to cut down on the amount of calories you will eat.

 Don't eat close to bedtime because doing it so won't increase your metabolism, but it will resist you to put on your weight by eating up extra calories.

There are many dietary supplements claim that these will help to accelerate individual's metabolism and help to burn calories or reduce weight. They attracts people who are overwhelmed to loosing their weight. So, people can't analyze that these can have some side effects. The fact is there's no magical stick or pill or bullet help to lose your weight. It only comes down by doing proper physical activities and taking proper diet.

Test should be done after 3to7 days of last menstrual date, to get accuracy. If negative wait for seven to ten days to appear naturally.

hello lybrate user,, nail lines from side to side are quite normal unless associated with other nail Conditions,,, these are clubbing of nails, brown discoloration , pitting nails,, yellow discoloration of nails etc,, if there are these types of problems associated then go for check up,, otherwise no issues,, horizontal lines mostly occurs due to trauma on nail bed,, and yes vertical lines are also normal on nails,, signs of aging
