Can ct scan of abdomen and pelvis shows colon cancer or polyps in the colon. I have done ct scan and I am scared because there is nothing such thing found in it and now m scared of colonoscopy.

MD, DNB
Oncologist, Ahmedabad
Dear lybrate-user. If you any abnormal symptoms then see a gastroenterologist, who will decide for colonoscopy which is a office procedure. In which the doctor see inner side of the large intestine. Definitely small lesions are sometimes not picked up on imaging. Colonoscopy is the best to see them.
