Dear sir I am having issue of bad odour in mouth. My gums seems to be pink and when I pressed them slowly they bleed out. I consult with a dentist 2 to 3 times and he told me due to improper cleanniless it is happening. He also did scaling of my teeth and give some medicine like gum paint and gel. He also suggest me colgate plax for oral hygiene. Sir I am doing all these but still I am suffering from same problem which make me uncomfortable with other persons. Sir kindly suggest what should I do sothat bleeding and bad odour issue to be overcome. I shall be obliged.

Six Bad Breath Home Remedies The practice of a few, simple, self-care techniques can help to minimize halitosis. There are several things you can do at home. Advanced oral care products: Use oral care products such as mouthwashes and toothpastes that have been shown to be effective in fighting bad breath. Avoid products with sodium lauryl sulfate or alcohol: Do not use any oral hygiene products that contain sodium lauryl sulfate or alcohol because the alcohol makes the mouth very dry, one of the most common causes of bad breath. Clean your mouth after eating meat, fish or dairy products: Practicing consistent and thorough oral hygiene is an effective prevention tool. Stop smoking: Studies have shown that smokers are at higher risk of developing periodontal disease and dry mouth. Furthermore, people who smoke may also engage in other habits that promote this condition such as dieting, drinking alcohol, and suffering from chronic anxiety conditions that require exacerbating prescription medications. Breathe through your nose instead of your mouth: Try to address any snoring or sleep apnea issues that could be affecting your breath and causing dry mouth. Drink water: Keep your mouth moist by drinking plenty of water. Clean your dentures at least once a day: Practice the same, proper oral care that you would with your original teeth. Eliminate dairy products from your diet: Lactose intolerance can be an underlying cause of halitosis. Use an oral probiotic like S. Salivarius K12 and M18: Use probiotics to balance the oral cavity and prevent an overgrowth of the odor-causing bacteria involved in halitosis. There might be tartar /deposit on teeth. Practice Good Oral Hygiene

If you’re suffering from bad breath problems, it is important that you brush and floss twice a day. Use fluoride-based toothpaste that will help you to keep your mouth clean and remove food debris and plaque. It is also important to brush your teeth before you go to bed because bacteria can grow in your mouth while you’re asleep. It is also important that you scrape your tongue to remove any residue that may be building up after you eat your meals.

Keep Your Mouth Moist

Hello, Use Homeodent toothpaste twice daily, morning and night before sleep. Take care. Home remedy:- Cleaning your teeth with fresh orange peel on a regular basis will reduce the yellow tinge accumulated on your teeth. Rub orange peel over your teeth every night before going to sleep. The vitamin C and calcium in the orange peel will combat the microorganisms throughout the night. Do this for a few weeks and you will notice effective results. If fresh orange peel is not available, you can use dried orange peel powder. Take Mag phos 6X, 5 tabs with warm water if you get toothache at night. Take care.

Kindly consult a dentist & an ent doctor in person for further suggestion. We need more investigations with clinical examination to decide upon treatment. Mouth opening during sleep may be due to abnormal facial growth, high palatal vault, dental crowding or mal occlusion, proclination, deviated nasal septum, obstructive sleep apnoea - upper airway obstruction, adenoid facies, swollen tonsils. Dental tips: - visit a dentist every six months for cleaning and a thorough dental check-up. Limit sugary food to avoid tooth decay. Gargle your mouth thoroughly after every meal. Floss all your teeth inter dentally & brush twice daily, morning & night, up & down short vertical strokes, with ultra-soft bristles, indicator brush. Tooth brush to be changed every 2 months.

If the wisdom tooth has erupted fully and in a proper position then we can save it by dental cement filling. If the cavity is deep and near or into the pulp then we can save it by root canal treatment. Ideally we should save natural tooth structure if its fits in above criterias. If the wisdom teeth has erupted in a such way that it's disturbing other tooth structures and we don't have any option left for saving it then only you should go for removal. The wisdom tooth usually causes pain because of its uneven position distrubing adjacent teeth and some times swelling of the tissues around the tooth causing pericoronitis ( i.e inflamation of the surrounding soft tissues ) causing pain. Wisdom tooth which is usually considered as an extra tooth having no role in mastication (i.e chewing of food) On other hand removal of wisdom tooth have much advantages rather than any disadvantage.. Retaining wisdom tooth some times results in food lodgement within and between adjacent tooth ,results in caries ( decay ) of the adjacent tooth. So for improper erupted wisdom tooth, removal is the only and best available option to the date. Which in turn also helps in preserving other tooth structures.

Hello, visit a orthodontist and get it checked. For reshaping teeth you can go for orthodontic treatment. It is safe and conservative treatment. The duration of treatment may be 1 1/2- 2 years depending upon the case, dentist and the locality of the clinic. It can cost you around 25,000- 40,000/-

No paste and no mouth wash will whitening your teeth, so avoid hard brushing and reduce the damaging your teeth. Besides that if you feel your teeth seems yellow go to dentist and tell him/her, they will treat your teeth under dental bleaching procedure if you needed.
